Tried buffalo wings, santa fe chicken, buffalo bomber among others. Buffalo wings and buffalo bomber were the best and santa fe chicken is worth mentioning as well… Could not even tell that it was not chicken.

Updated: Management was very kind and prompt in reaching out to me. I’m still wary of the parking but very impressed by the resolve and demeanor of those that contacted me…(I usually try to dine at Veggie Grill if given the choice but this particular location was a real disappointment. The parking is an absolute nightmare **valet only despite what the sign says**. The staff are also inconsiderate. I will not go back to the Encino branch again, but as a chain still hope to patronize other VG’s. Too bad.)

Really enjoy the food and variety here. The service is quick for lunch by the office and the parking is validated. Being a vegan/vegetarian doesn’t have to mean boring food or just salads. Aldo is the best worker!

Love the salads and chicken sandwiches. Aldo is so friendly and should be a manager! The only bad thing is when the district manager is in and takes up tables and interviews people at the table. No customer wants to over hear any of that

Who says vegan/vegetarian food has to mean salads? Love the different options they have, each meal being very satisfying and not leaving you just chewing on lettuce. There’s pastas, sandwiches, and even cookies. No sodas, but delicious lemonades and teas. I love the Santa Fe Crispy Chicken Sandwich with a side of fries. I’ve explored their pastas too and salads too, but I definitely need to try other things on their menu too. They have an app too to collect points to get discounts. I got an $ 8 credit just for signing up and linking my CC. There’s a parking lot in the back that validates for 1 hour. Make sure to enter it at the light on Rubio as there’s no entrance to it at the front or side of the restaurant(that fact has led me to multiple U-turns to get there).

I was super excited to use my veggie grill app and to use the 8.00 credit I got just for registering on it. I love the location because it has free parking with validation. The food is yummy and good for you. Plus no animals are harmed. Huge fan of their buffalo wings. The restaurant was a little messy when I came in plates and cups were still on table from past guests. However, with time employees began to clean up store. One of the ladies that worked at this store was friendly. She helped me scan my veggie grill credit. She also checked on me through out my visit. Another employee also checked on my me. Veggie Grill is one of my favorite restaurants because of their selection of vegan foods. Love to know that every time I eat here I am saving animals lives. Employees seem to like working here as well. Cool restauant.

I love veggie grill, at least the Topanga one… Might explain why that one is always busy. This location has to get it together. I’m used to very fresh veggie grill products but tonight it was disgusting. The crispy cauliflower was anything but crispy and the carrot cake was so old it wouldn’t come apart! Usually at any other veggie grill I’ve been the carrot cake is soft and creamy. Not wanting to drive all the way to Topanga I decided to give this one a try. No parking so I had to walk in the dark to get there. Not satisfied at all.

So disappointed in this place. They sure make the quinoa power salad look good in the picture, but in reality I paid $ 10 for a bunch of romaine lettuce with ONE almond, three beans, and a sprinkle of quinoa. Literally. Never ever going back. I hate when I try somewhere new and they make a terrible first impression.

Gave more than a 24 hour notice for a catering order. However, they were still 20 mins late on having it ready. Their excuse, «we got busy.» Only one customer was present in the restaurant. Horrible service.

Went in here last week for the first time. Food was great… selection was minimal but still good. I loved the Bombay Dish. Amazing. The best party about going was Aldo. He was very nice and friendly. Answered all my questions since I was new to the place. He did a great job with customer service and you can tell he works hard. I will return. Thanks Aldo for taking care of me. I really enjoyed my late night dinner there.

This is one of the two location that we always go to. It’s located conveniently on Ventura Blvd with a large free one hour parking in the back of the building. The menu changes with seasons bringing delicious entrees each time. We had Santa Fe crispy chikin sandwich with a French fries and quinoa bowl. It never disappoints with variety of healthy fresh sides, Not to mention its vegan and organic. The prices are reasonable for a good lunch or a dinner in addition they have an app which earns points for free food. The service is always fast and friendly, the place is neat with q colorful décor. Will be back.

I’m a huge fan of Veggie Grill… it’s delicious! I love that there is one here and in Woodland Hills. I’ve gotten the Sonoran and Bombay Bowl… my 2 favorites! I also had the chicken wings, fries, and tacos. They’re very accommodating with substituting items. The employees were very attentive as well. They would come by about every 15 minutes to make sure we were okay, wonderful customer service! Very comparable to the other location in Woodland Hills, which is good that it’s standardized at various locations. Will be back again very soon :)

I am a gluten-free vegan. Please note that I rate Veggie Grill a 3, but this particular location earns an abysmal 2 stars, as it has messed up my order two days in a row, and on another third occassion. **ENCINOLOCATIONCONCERNS** TRIP #1: I find tofu questionable, even when it is allegedly gmo-free. As a result, I ordered my Banh Mi Salad without tofu, sub beans, with sweet potato fries. When I got home with my take-out order, I discovered the following: my salad was overly-drenched in dressing, my salad lacked beans(even though I specifically added them), and my sweet potato fries had zero seasoning and/or salt.(This was my first time ordering sweet potato fries, so maybe they always taste like nothing? Note that I am in love with the regular fries here). Needless to say, not happy. TRIP #2: I ordered a Bombay Bowl, hold the super grains, double the beans, add avocado(anything more than nominal quinoa makes me gag). I also asked if my order would have substantial steamed kale, or whether I should pay extra to add more. I was assured there was a «good portion» of kale. I got back to my office, only to discover there was grossly less than a handful of beans(seriously pitiful), less than half an avo, and maybe a handful of kale if I’m counting generously. I am currently sitting here irritated, still hungry, vowing never to come back to Encino Veggie Grill. TRIP #3: I ordered the Quinoa Power Salad with the quinoa on the side(I dislike quinoa but wanted it for my co-diner), add tempeh. It arrived with quinoa and beans on the side, no beans on the salad, and no tempeh. Thankfully I was dining in; had I ordered this to-go, I would have been reallllyyyyyy irritated. Not sure why this location cannot handle anything. **VEGGIEGRILLREVIEW** GLUTEN-FREEMENU: This establishment designates gluten-free items on its general menu. VEGANOPTIONS: The entire menu is vegan, and the website claims to be gmo-free. GLUTEN-FREEOPTIONS: There are some gluten-free options here, although none of the fun items are gluten-free, e.g., cauli mashed potatoes and gravy, cookies, etc. I do not like quinoa, so it doesn’t help me that the g-f options are generally quinoa-based. As a result, I sub or hold items with quinoa. I don’t think any entrée here is particularly stellar, just decent. Regardless, I have tried to eat through more for one reason and one reason alone: yukon gold fries. YUKONGOLDFRIES: I am obsessed with these fries(sadly not the rest of the menu). They have that yummy seasoning that reminds me of Tommy’s fries from way back when I was a kid. Also love the catsup here, which does not contain high-fructose corn syrup. TEMPEH: The tempeh here literally tastes like nothing. Not impressed. If you are going to eat it, smother it in sauce. KOMBUCHA: Serves Better Booch… a brand of kombucha I dislike. I recommend changing to Synergy or Kombucha Dog. ROOMFORIMPROVEMENT: Dear Veggie Grill, I recommend a lentil/veggie-based patty as a gluten-free and soy-free alternative to the patties served here. I do not like highly-processed faux meat and would enjoy a patty made from whole foods.

Oh my god, this location is dreadful. I love veggie grill, this is the closest location to me, but I will drive far out of my way to go to another location. Last time I ate here I ordered the bahn mi sandwich, kale style. Almost halfway through eating my dinner I found clumps of mud mixed in with the romaine lettuce. Yuck! I brought the food up to the counter and showed them the dirt in my food, and asked them to remake my dinner without lettuce. They delivered my food a while later without the tofu steak that is the main of that dish. I asked where the rest of my food was and the rude server told me I ate it already! As I said, I was not even halfway through my meal yet. I sent the server away with the meal and told her to get the manager, and remake my meal. They remade it again, but at that point I had had enough of the attitude of the server and the manager, and left without eating anything else. This was not an isolated incident at this location. The food was always sloppily prepared at this location, tables dirty, and the fries were always soggy.

Go straight to Veggie Grill. Do not pass Go; do not collect $ 200. This was my very first stop when I arrived in CA last weekend. I made a beeline straight for the VG. I ordered the Buffalo Wings, Cauli-Mashed Potatoes & Gravy, a ½ All Hail Kale Salad, and the Chargrilled Street Corn without the parmesan. BUFFALOWINGS were amazing, as always. Love their spicy buffalo sauce! The CAULI-MASHEDPOTATOES&GRAVY is one of my go-to dishes. So yum! I actually wanted a side of Steamin’ Kale but was put down for a ½ All Hail Kale as part of a Pick a Pair deal instead. This was fine with me, but I do prefer the ginger-miso dressing that comes with the Steamin’ Kale over whatever dressing is served with the All Hail Kale. CHARGRILLEDSTREETCORN. I missed it last year when they debuted this summer treat, so I was elated to try it, and it was everything I dreamt it would be. The corn was so fresh, and it was seasoned to perfection. This is definitely an addition to my go-to items from now on(when it’s in season). The one waitress we had, who brought out our food, could use an attitude adjustment. Aside from her, everyone else(the cashier, the male waiter or manager– not sure which he was) was great. Parking can be a little tricky here. They’ll validate up to an hour of parking, but the parking lot fills quickly. Luckily, I found street/metered parking across the street. After the West Hollywood location, this one is my next favorite.

A quick update for the Veggie Grill, I have not been to this location in over year but happened to be in the area looking for something a bit more healthy. Parking is still ridiculous but at least they validate for an hour. The menu is bursting with lot’s of new choices and their seasonal Spring menu. For some reason the Thai«Chiken» salad just jumped out at me and I was glad it did! Thai Chickin’* is loaded with Grilled Chickin’, quinoa, romaine, cabbage, corn salsa, green onion, mandarin oranges, cucumbers, sesame seeds, cilantro, spicy Thai dressing(you can sub Tempeh to be gluten free) Some of the best Tofu based replacement chicken I can recall! The salad packed a big flavor profile and was satisfying to boot. I was so pleasantly surprised by how well balanced and how just plain delicious the salad tasted. It’s was crave worthy. The only drawback and it’s a big on is just the location. Parking requires you to score a street metered spot or valet parking in a private lot behind the retail space along Ventura. It takes a bit of time just getting parked and retrieving your car when they are busy.
