Encino Presbyterian Children’s Center

My son has been here since August 2015. It’s been a fabulous experience and we’re so happy to have found this local gem. It’s in an older building, so the physical environment is nothing flashy, but that is not what matters when it comes to kids. The kids are treated with respect, encouraged to be creative and independent, their learning and play are supervised by experienced and loving teachers who put a lot of thought and planning into their syllabus and activities. I was worried it would be religious, since it’s in a church, but it’s totally secular, with kids and families from all types of religious backgrounds. We’re looking forward to having our son here for the foreseeable future and attending their after school program once he starts at Encino Charter in a couple of years. He loves it even more than his last school, which was a flashier, much more expensive preschool. Thanks, EPCC and Ms. Ani and Jessica!

We had 2 kids go through EPCC, they understand kids and do a wonderful job providing them with a terrific experience in learning. Mrs. Geni is the best preschool teacher!

I can not say enough good things about EPCC. The environment is safe, the teachers care, my daughter loves going to school and has learned so much and in such fun ways. I love how they foster healthy and meaningful friendships between the children. We love this school!!!

Update: After being at this school now for 2 years I’ve really grown to love it. The teachers really are exceptional. They love the kids, they care for them and they teach them. I love the fact that the kids do alot of hands on crafts, cooking, reading, singing — and no worksheets! They learn by doing and playing. The best!
