We ordered pizza, kobide kabab plate and grilled chicken salad.
Pizza was good.
Their Kobideh was below average, it came with rice which was not good at all.
Chicken in the grilled chicken salad was not grilled. They should call it boiled checken salad.

Might have ordered wrong stuff but avoid the pizza– mostly cheese and not really flavorful. Steak sandwich was ok though.
2^nd try on this confirms even kabob is not that good. Avoid if you’re a foodie.

This place is AMAZING! I’m a regular delivery costumer and Shawn is nothing but the BEST EVER! He has amazing customer service and takes care of clients like no other place I’ve ever order from! I am yet to go to their location but they are the number one place I recommend when asked where to go eat around the Encino area! Great pizzas and amazing chicken kabob! I LOVE BABA CAFE! If they had a shirt that said that, I’ll totally sport it!

Awesome pizza! Best I have had in Sherman Oaks, Studio City, or Encino. Also prices are very good compared to other pizza places that aren’t as good. We had the mix and the veggie and both were equally delicious.

I love Mediterranean/​Middle Eastern food, so I was excited to see this place open close to where I work. I got the chicken kabab plate and it was so good! The chicken and rice had a distinct flavor, you can tell that they use their unique recipe. It also came with a sauce, not exactly sure what it’s made of, but I really enjoyed it! The only thing is that there is no indoor seating which can be a bummer on really cold or hot days. Aside from that, I recommend it!

Food was really good! Had the grilled chicken salad and all ingredients were fresh and the chicken was tasty. Portion size was rather significant as well.

This location has been a million different eateries in the last decade or so, but I hope Baba Café stays put. Super friendly service, great prices. I had the koobideh sandwich, which I’ve never tried before (although I have tried kefta, klopsiki, etc.). It was delicious. Mixed and seasoned very well, cooked perfectly — juicy and tender with a bit of crispy on the outside. While I was there, some lovely young ladies ordered a pizza and it looked delicious, so that’s next on my hit list.

This place is a hidden gem. It is in the back of a little office complex, tucked away. I was not sure what to expect, but the quality of the food — especially the meat and vegetables — is simply excellent. I have never had anything here that was not cooked correctly or was not fresh and crispy.
The chicken kebab sandwich is excellent. I prefer it on the baguette, but you can also get it on this very flat type of bread, that I believe originates from the Middle East. How is that for an explanation? Ha.
The other thing I like about this place, is that the people who work here are extremely courteous and helpful. The service is excellent. I think that it is family owned and operated — father, son and daughter — so that makes me feel pretty good about eating here. But I would not have left this review, it was just that.
The menu is a bit limited. But this place is what it is — it is a small, family-​run operation — and I guess they cannot be all things to all people. I did notice that when I was there last time, the young lady behind the counter handed me their new menu. It looks like they have expanded and are now offering delivery through Grub Hub.
I hope that this business makes it, simply because their food is excellent. I say this because there have been several other eateries in this very location that have not survived that long.

It’s my second time I’m here for the lunch and i have to say that this is the best place to get pizza or sandwich specialy the pizza is amazing, prices r so low that I couldn’t believe it and the service is perfect no wait time if you r around and want to get lunch this is the place to come. 100%

We return to this place every chance we get! This place has the best pizza that I’ve tried in San Fernando valley. It’s also a great value at around $ 9 for a big one. If you are looking for a homemade pizza, this is the right place for you.

I’m hooked on this place for lunch. 6 days in a row, each time I’ve had the chicken kabob with a greek salad. It’s a great deal and the food is healthy. I have yet to try the pizza but it looks just as good. Support this family owned establishment, they’re really cool people!

Well, I’ve tried this place twice now. I wanted to like it more, but it just didn’t work out. They are family owned and operated and have a lot of passion it seems like, but in terms of operations, service, management, and products… it just isn’t good. The place is clean, the seating on the outside patio area is nice (no inside seating which is weird)
I tried a beef sandwich first time. Overall it was bland and too much bread. The meat however was delicious.
I tried a pizza the second time and it was better than the sandwich. I hope this place gets a little better. Good Luck guys.

This place is awesome. I went last night to order some take outs. I ordered two medium pizza with 3 sausage and cheese sandwiches. Owners are very friendly and they offer free drink while we were waiting for our order to be ready. It took less than 15 minutes to get all my dinner ready.
Every thing was excellent, delicious and unique.
I would give six stars (instead of five) to their services and would go back for sure.

This place has the best pizza in the area. The pizza is crispy and they put just the right amount of sauce, cheese and toppings. Their prices are unbelievably low and I hope they are able to stay in business so I can keep coming here on my lunch break.
