San Diego Hot Spring Spas Encinitas

I love our Hot Spring spa – it’s the bomb. Seriously, it’s got the most powerful jets of almost any hot tub I’ve ever been in. The rare few that have been stronger are the huge, concrete tubs you find in nice complexes. We have the Vanguard, and it actually hits the pressure points – not quite as good as a foam roller, but not bad for a guy chilling in a hot tub!
I also loved the service at this store. I usually go to Kearny Mesa, where the service is also awesome (I always get great, useful tips), but was in Encinitas so I went there. I called ahead and got courteous, helpful service. When I arrived, they were very kind and got me just what I needed. The same manager who normally works in Kearny Mesa was here that day, and I always appreciate his real, down to earth approach to things. I left with what I needed, and a smile.

The wife and I were very happy to discover Hot Springs Spas Encinitas and Garrett. We went to a spa show in Del Mar and were disappointed with what we saw. The guy we were talking to there kept comparing their spas to Hot Springs Spas and saying these are as good as a Hot Springs spa. So when we left the show we Googled Hot Springs Spa North County and found the store in Encinitas. It was a pleasure meeting Garrett, who was very helpful, we felt comfortable with him right away. We eventually bought our spa and we love it. Everything was handled very professionally, from purchase to delivery to set up. We highly Encinitas Hot Springs Spas and Garrett.

I needed a new base for my Big Green Egg and Garret set me up. He ordered my part and it arrived promptly. They have all the Big Green accessories right up front. I found the experience very frIendly and convenient.

My Jetsetter NXT was delivered last Saturday after being purchased directly from the factory in Vista. No Chemicals/​Spa treatment came with the spa. The Uprite Cover system mounts directly to the removable panel for the electrical installation. So, in order to have your electrician install the wiring, the Uprite cover system has to be removed. Also, need to mention that you better have a #2 square head driver on hand to remove the screws since the mounting hardware does not come with standard phillips head screws. Odd that the cover lifting system gets mounted to a REMOVABLE panel– not the smartest engineering in my opinion. Mounting hardware should have been designed to mount to the fixed side panels in lieu of to the removable access panel.
Garrett at the Encinitas Hot Spring store was very helpful and patient in answering my questions regarding chemical treatment for the spa. He got me all dialed in with the maintenance requirements/​products and I’ll probably purchase maintenance products there as time goes on.
I’m anxiously awaiting electrical hook up and hope the Jetsetter NXT will meet or beat my old Dimension One Triad spa– time will tell.

We have an older Hotsprings spa and needed to purchase a new cover. Eugene was helpful and the lid we ordered came in quickly. We were impressed by the spa selection and the friendly people at this Hotsprings location. We shopped around for a new cover online but once we added in all the extras (like a surcharge for a large spa and surcharge for thicker foam etc) the price was the same or higher than at this Hotsprings store. I am much happier knowing I purchased a genuine Hotsprings cover. I think HotSprings makes quality products and I am a proud and happy HotSprings owner!

Love our new Sovereign hot tub! Met Garrett at a roadshow at Costco Carlsbad and he came to the house and gave us the rundown on all the spas, prices, and the logistics of getting it into the backyard. My husband and I then visited the Encinitas and Clairemont Mesa stores too and spoke with a few other sales staff. All were very knowledgeable. After we also checked out several other manufacturers, we finally decided and 3 weeks later, it was delivered.
After getting all the electrical finished, Ben came out to give us a fantastic orientation. This is our first hot tub and so far, so good! Thank you!

HotSpring Spas is a great place to buy and maintain your portable spa. Garrett was so helpful and fantastic with instructing me on how to care for my new spa. With it being my first spa, I returned and called many times to get further questions answered and trouble shoot my problems. He walked me through draining it for my first and second times. They always have a great and friendly attitude! I would recommend this place everyone.

This is the second hot spring spa I’ve owned and I just love it. However, since moving to Encinitas, I’ve been having a terrible time with ‘white flakes’ floating around in my spa. And, the water just wasn’t clear. I went to several places and had the water tested, drained it and refilled it, etc. But, it didn’t clear up and no one could help me. Then, I called Hughsten! He was super nice and told me to stop in and we could talk it over. I went to see him and he knew right away that I had some sort of mold organism growing in my hot tub — that included in the pipes. So, he offered to come by my house and ‘take care of it’.
He came to my home twice. It took about 3 weeks to kill the organism. But, by Sunday night, the water was sparkling clean. Super nice man. Very knowledgeable regarding hot tubs. And not afraid to hustle to make a customer happy. I honestly have not had customer service as good as this.
I’m now signed up for monthly cleanings and am looking forward to the weather cooling down a bit.
Thank you Hughsten. I was seriously considering selling my hot tub. Not any more!

Hughsten bent over backwards to make certain our new spa was a FANTASTIC experience. We are well pleased with our new Hot Spring Envoy NXT with the ACE salt water sanitizing system. Several members of our family have very sensitive skin. So far ACE has solved that problem. The Bella Fontana water feature/​fall creates a magnificent light and water show. To quote Hot Spring, the ambience of the spa creates a «powerful relaxation».
All this was possible because Hughsten Smith and his wife, Deb who manages the Claremont Mesa store, spent many hours explaining all the features of their spas as compared to other brands. We previously owned a competing brand, which created skin rash problems for several members of my family.
Hot Spring Spas are the only spas in the industry of which I am aware that have all water filtered 100% of the time. As I understand it, all other spas bypass filtration when you are in the spa using the jets… I think this is when you need filtration the most, but that is just my thoughts. If clean water is as important to your family as to my family, then you need to see Hughsten and/​or his lovely bride, Deb. You will not regret the experience and your time will be well spent.
