I asked for a trim and she pulled my hair all in one direction and snipped the ends. I was furious. That was her idea of a trim… Before that, I had to wait for her to finish reading a chapter in her psychology book before she was instructed to finish my hair. Nice people but they seem too busy doing college homework and weaves to attend to their customers.

I live in Orange County (Monroe, NY — Near Woodbury commons) and travel here every Saturday for Lucy to do my hair. Once you find a stylist to really take care of your hair, you can’t replace them! She hooks me up! I will forever be a loyal client. I recommend to anyone who wants beauticians who really care about your hair

Okay so I’ve been coming here even before I became natural, and the customer service is excellent, their all related and treat you like family. I really can’t tell what time is the best because it’s a hit and miss crowd; I tend to come in the morning and sometimes it’s still busy, but these ladies MOVE! I’m 100% natural and they treat my hairs like gold, no discrimination what so ever! When I leave I feel Dominican just like most salons they may give their unwanted advice for a trim but they truly look out for u, NO BIG CHOP with your trim. You should come see for yourself!

This salon is very friendly and they have amazing customer service. I am new to the area and they made me feel welcome, compared to many of the NY salons I have visited. They are sweet and gentle and get the job done! I appreciated their honesty, and helping me feel beautiful for my birthday! Thanks! I HIGHLY recommend them. :)But…unfortunately it was too much heat (which isn’t entirely their fault)
Get a deep conditioner if you are natural, prepare or for A LOT of heat damage… but that’s with all heat styles

This place is awful. Hair came out dry and didn’t bother to have it blown as I saw the end result (and process) of the blowout. Really harsh, pulling on hair and the mushroom with side part signature Dominican hairstyle. Also they charge $ 10 more for the horrible blowout to a total of $ 35 to $ 45. Would not go back. Feel like I need to get my hair done again. One last point, this salon seems to be ‘weave central’ so if you are coming for a wash and set, be prepared to wait.

I was so impressed with the family atmosphere in this salon. I was also impressed with how quickly I was taken care of when I was a «walk-​in» on a Sunday afternoon. I really love this place! The ladies here really take their time and are accommodating.
This is a family owned establishment, hence the name… The price is reasonable, the place is well maintained and they do a good job on my hair.
Since coming here, my hair is healthier and growing! Everyone have their favorite sister that do their hair and mine is LUCY!
