This store has a lot of Indonesian stuffs which is great. But the shipping charges if you are ordering online is ridiculously high. They do sometimes advertise in their facebook pages but they do not put the price and its difficult to communicate. Overall, its not recommended, unless you do not have any other choices.

Quite disappointed. This store definitely has all the Indonesian staple food I would ever need, but store is somewhat disorganized, many items aren’t clearly price-tagged, and there’s not much space to walk around. I’m still sticking with Café Pendawa in Philly for all my Indonesian staple food need,

If you want to try or craving for some authentic Indonesian food, come by on Saturday. They have a lot of cooked food, desserts, & snacks here. We like this place more & more. Great selection! If you can’t find what you’re looking for or just have any question about the stuff they sell here, just ask the person who works there. They’re always pretty friendly & helpful. Street parking is always easy to find here.

They don’t stock up often. I was looking forward to stocking up some desert and indonesian dishes but almost everything was gone. The price is not that great either considering you take it to go and that you can eat the same item at a restaurant maybe for $ 1 more. They so have lots and lots of Indonesian sauce packets of multiple brands.

I got a lot of stuff from snacks, assorted chilli sauce, chips, seasoning, crackers. If you come on Saturday evening they have Indonesian food and munchies with reasonable price. The owner Ms. Ria also friendly and helpful.

Good selection of spices and Indonesian groceries. The prices are fair and for certain spices really good: I got a bag of frozen lemongrass for just $ 1.50 ! It’s fairly small and can be hard to find

This is the only Indonesian grocer I have found in NYC. Some Chinese supermarkets carry south east Asian products but they don’t sell tempeh which is a food that originated in Indonesia. You can get this at Whole Foods but I like to go back to the original source and also poke around for other Indonesian products. Its a small shop and they have a multitude of Indonesian products. If you come across a product you want to try, the owner will give you recipe ideas. Store is better known among Indonesian locals.

Well stocked Indonesian grocery store, not too far from the Java Village restaurant. Sells everything from Indo Mie to the various bumbus to dodol to even frozen tempeh.

Catering to a burgeoning Indonesian community as well as cooking aficionados, Indo Java is a tiny shop tucked in a strip mall catering all things culinary-speaking. There are other markets that stock some dry goods like kecap manis, palm sugar, or candlenut. However, you can get advise for helping make that perfect nasi goreng, tahu isi, sop buntut or any of the dishes you miss so much from your latest exotic sojourn in SE Asia. I came searching for curry powder but ended up with a box of dodol, a chewy toffee like candy and chicken spice mix for frying. Ready to eat foods are available but usually run out fast by late in the day. Snacks like krupuk(shrimp chips), rempeyeh(peanut crackers), onde-onde.(sesame black bean cakes) are very popular. You can also buy in bulk and have them ship throughout the United States. Just steps away from the Grand Ave station and Q53/58/59/60 bus stop.
