I will give this dominos another chance in the future because their customer service is really friendly!:) I ordered my pizza and I work in the oak brook mall, I know it must be hard for those who don’t know the place to look for my location but that’s why there are directories!!! I had to meet the driver halfway through the mall(which was my idea because I am friendly and I don’t like to make people struggle) I just feel like I didn’t get what I payed for plus he was starting at me when I was writing down my tip so I felt weird and I tipped him more than I needed too! ANDMYPIZZAWASCOLD:/ like k said super friendly and respectful team.

I was telling a friend the other day that we ordered from this Dominos. He said he’s ordered here 5 times and every time his order was wrong. This is why I like technology. I used the on-line tool. It was super easy and the order came out perfect. It may have just been a coincidence, but I was happy.
In terms of pizza, there has to be a sub-class called, «fast food pizza.» You can’t compare this to what I’d call«Chicago style» which comes in two sub-classes, «Chicago thin crust pizza» and«Chicago deep dish pizza.» Since this is «fast food pizza» it should be compared to Papa Johns, Little Caesars, Sarpinos, etc. I have yet to order from the other fast food pizza joints in town, so no comparison yet. One other thought. Eating at a fast food pizza restaurant in Chicago is like flying to the east or west coast and eating at Red Lobster. It just doesn’t make sense to me. I guess food just isn’t as important to some people as it is to me.
As of this writing there are ninety-six restaurants in Elmhurst. I plan on eating at, and reviewing, every one. Follow me on Unilocal

UPDATE — I want to update my review after being contacted by the manager Luke. He was very gracious and explained the situation at the store — new manager needs to clean up some bad apples and jack of drivers. I want to compliment him on reaching out to disgruntled customers. I will try them again.

We are .9 miles away from the store. Delivery time was 20−30min. We called Courtney the manager after 45 min to ask for our delivery. We were trying to figure out the problem, she got mad and hung up. We called back 4 times but she was not answering us. When she did pick up she said that she didn’t want to talk to us because she had other customers to worry about. Monday is not a busy day so they only have 1 driver. Order came after 1hr 15min. Sandwiches were cold and the wasn’t any marinara that I paid extra for. Sarpino’s is always on time and they are 5miles away from me.

****DONOTORDERFROMTHISSTORE**** Not sure where to start from but this was the WORST experience I have had so far with delivery restaurants thanks to the manager COURTNEY! Lets see… 1) I called to ask why my order is 45 minutes late AND this was the response: — Courtney hung up on me — She did not pick up the phone for the next 10 minutes — And finally tells me that she does not have time to talk to me because she has other customers WHAT??? I am still in shock!!! To top it off– food was cold and marinara was missing :( There you have it guys! Domino’s Pizzeria! I do recommend Sarpino’s Pizzeria because the food and experience is always better :))

Four stars for Domino’s Pizza you exclaim in utter disbelief? I will give you that. Beating the Monday«meh’s» takes drastic measures at times. And one of those measures is to have chain pizza. When confronted with a day of unpredictable twists and turns from the get-go, returning to the solace of predictable as mundane as it may seem is just what the doctor ordered… at least until it is a more appropriate time to have a beer. So sitting at my desk, listening to yet another irate customer, I multitask. The intuitive nature of the online pizza making application made demonstrating empathy for my customer while configuring a pepperoni, black olive and onion small pizza a breeze. If I had one complain I had to pause and fire too many neurons to decline all the up-selling that went along with it. Soda and chicken on wax paper to name a few. No sooner did I submit my order an pay online did the progress bar fire up to let me know that my pizza was onward and upward to the assembly line. A mere 12 minutes later I walked in, gave my name and walked out with my pizza. Total in-store time: 16 seconds(give or take). The pizza itself was, well, Dominos. They have managed to get the crust a bit crispier over the years, the ingredients were respectable, the sauce too sweet as we have come to expect of commercialized pizza. Overall, the pizza gets three stars but the online ordering experience bumps the overall Dominos experience up a notch without hesitation. A perfect example on how to successfully use technology!

This is NOT your dad’s Dominoes :) I’m shocked ! I gave up on Dominoes years ago. Usually, I go for Lou Malnatti’s in Chicago for pizza. Last night I had a friend over that wanted beef in his pizza(Lou Malnatti has limited toppings), so I ordered from Dominoes. Not only did the pizza rock(Cheese steak), but the online ordering & tracking system is awesome. If Amazon ever did pizza, this is how it would be done. It’s amazing how much you can customize online — and still get your delivery far faster than most other local places. Today I tried the Habanero wings — the best wings in the local area ! Excellent with both the ranch and habanero dipping cups. I’m a convert :)

In the suburbs, inexpensive, quick, and good tasting pizza is hard to find. So many of the named places charge $ 20 for a medium pizza. It is great to grab 2 medium pies, fast, hot, and friendly from this Domino’s location. Plus, appetizer options like the Parm Bites are fantastic. Employees are always a pleasure whether delivery or carryout. I say we order from here probably every other week. When you want it fast, fresh, hot, and soft on the wallet. Domino’s knows how to do it.

Domino’s isn’t a «sexy» name in Pizza but this place is really great. I remember Domino’s not being very good. I NEVER would have tried this place except for the fact that I was traveling in FL and got into a hotel very late and still needed something for dinner. Most places were closed, but the front desk clerk suggested a local Domino’s because they delivered and the sandwiches were actually very good. We loved the oven sandwiches we got. Who knew Domino’s was so good!!! Then when we got home we started going to the local Elmhurst Domino’s and we love it here too. They have a fab way of ordering on line and their phone app is even better. You see a status of your order the entire time. There is no wondering what the status is. It’s so easy! The sandwiches are great and so is the artisan Pizza! We still go to other pizza places around town too, but Domino’s is a great alternative, convienient, and is a great value! If you haven’t checked out a Domino’s in a while, I HIGHLY suggest checking them out again. You might find yourself very surprised like I was!
