Been here twice. Friendly knowledgable person helped me out today with gluten free options. Not crazy about what I’ve eaten so far.

I was in this Chick fil a yesterday 2÷2÷16 around 1:15 and what I saw was appalling. The manager along with 5 other employees were standing around behind the counter laughing, joking and goofing off. All the meanwhile there was a wonderful woman named Donna who apparently is the only one who actually does any physical work there was cleaning and checking on all the guests in the dining room. Then at one point two of the other employees who were part of the group goofing off, come out into the dining and start joking around over their head sets in front of the customer which was totally inappropriate. Then the manager, who is totally useless come out to the dining room to check Donna’s work and tells her what she needs to clean, what she should have done is put one of her minions she was goofing off with behind the counter to work. I think you need to hire more employees like Donna and fire the rest of them, because they are totally incompetent.

I DO NOT like this CFA. Out of all the plethora of CFA’s in the area, this one is the worst.
1) The restaurant is in the middle of the parking lot and the drive-​thru line circles the restaurant. So if you want to park and go inside, may the Lord be with you.
2) It is possible that no adults work here. The staff seems young and inexperienced.
3) Every single time someone opens and closes the back entrance door, the door to the kids play area opens and closes a little. If your kid is playing in there, you keep looking because you think they are escaping.
4) This CFA does not refill your drinks. At every other area CFA you get so many refills you nearly float home.
5) The service isn’t friendly. What?
I have dined in at this location twice now and I am not coming back. The last time I sat at my table for 15 minutes and my food never came out. I went to ask and they seemed confused. Apparently no one ever made it. Then we had to wait another 10 minutes for them to make it again. By this time the nugget was whining… and he had to eat his food in the car.
The only good thing here is the food. The food is good.

I called to order food for our work department and was told by a female employee they were busy to call back in 20 min. I understand being busy as our department gets busy but we deal with it or we wouldn’t be in business very long. Maybe they need to hire more employees. I just ordered from another place that wasn’t to busy too take my order. I would leave no stars if I could.

They usually forget something small, but amazing food. The waffle fries and chik-​fil-​a sauce is where it’s at!

Awful, Had a catering order for 6:00pm, called at 6:30pm to ask the status of the delivery and they said they thought it was for pick up. I ordered on-​line and it CLEARLY says DELIVERY.
This was for a corporate function, we order local catering 2 – 3 times a week for events. I will not choose Chick-​fil-​A ever again, they just lost a potential large volume customer.
The worst was the girl on the phone was not apologetic at all, she was sarcastic and very rude about the situation.
UPDATE: Owner delivered the order himself, very apologetic. He has only owned this location a few weeks and is still training his staff. I will certainly give them another shot based on his GREAT customer service.

I don’t know why ppl eat here?! The chicken is like eating a block of salt!
Every thing they have is pure sodium which why ppl probably are forced to eat it. I guess you can put salt on anything to make it eatable.
Over rated. If it was the only place open on let’s say a holiday then maybe but no thank you. I would rather go to Wendy’s or Mickey Ds which doesn’t say much.

The food came out fast. The food was great. The chicken tenders were actually tender. The waffle fries I got were under done so they were floppy. Since we dined in, I could have asked for another serving but I didn’t. Love the coleslaw. My husband had a salad, which was good but he was disappointed in the salad dressing options. They have at least 8 different dressings but no French or Thousand Island.
As another reviewer noted, you have to cut across the busy drive through lane to enter the establishment. Whoever designed that was crazy. I’m wondering if the restaurant has been sued by someone getting hurt trying to cross over the drive through lane to get to the parking lot. Parents, hold on to your kid’s hand while they are crossing.

First time at a Chik-​fil-​a. Stopped by the Elmhurst location and i am glad i did! I was immediately impressed by the cleanliness and décor. The staff was welcoming and extremely polite. They were very helpful as I am sure they noticed we were new. I will definitely come back!!!

Drive thru service is awful at night. The last two times our order was wrong. Manager on duty promised to mail out coupons to make up for the missed items, which never arrived. Store manager didn’t respond to inquiries. We used to frequent this location often, but we won’t be back.

This is the nicest and most friendly fast food restaurant I’ve ever been to! The service was quick, efficient, and delightful. The food was hot and tasted great! The Staff were so friendly that it made me more inclined to come here often, especially since this was my first visit here. Kudos to the team on Friday afternoon 7÷17÷15 for their great customer service skills.

The staff that works the drive thru are hands down the best people ever!!!
We go back because of the excellent personal service & my boys are obsessed with the Chick Fil A sauce !!!

Loved the flavor, cleanliness and awesome customer service. Staff very attentive to get you refills, sauce, etc and or clean up your table of what you don’t need.

This is my second visit at chick-fil-a.and I loved it! The chicken is fresh. service was good, and the Polynesian sauce for my waffle fries were on point… lemonade also was very good… for $ 7.00 for the meal it was 10 times better than McDonald’s. I will be back

I love Chick-​Fil-​A in general! Whenever I’ve gone there it’s always been a pleasant experience, food and service! But at this location, the drive thru window crew are the funniest workers I have ever encountered! They made my times getting food from there enjoyable ones! Thumbs up to the drive thru window people!

Pretty good Chick-​Fil-​A. My wife and I both love the breakfast chicken sandwiches here. My only complaint is that at time the staff seems under trained.

I guess if I was at the corner of St. Charles and 83, and desperate for a chicken sandwich, I would probably choose between Chick-​fil-​A and Portillo’s. While the original chicken sandwich at Chick-​fil-​A is good, the one at Portillo’s is better. Plus, Portillo’s has awesome french fries. For me, the only edge that Chick-​fil-​A has is the fruit cup. Although, when I ordered it I felt a bit cheated. The top was covered with strawberries, mandarin oranges, and blueberries, but the bottom of the cup … all apples. Kind of like a birthday cake. The frosting is the good part and the cake part I can live without.
As of this writing there are ninety-​six restaurants in Elmhurst. I plan on eating at, and reviewing, every one. Follow me on Unilocal

I used to eat at Chick-​Fil-​A all the time back when I worked up in River North, so I was pretty ecstatic when I found out they were opening one 15 minutes from my house. It still amazes me how they can get chicken to taste that juicy and tender. Their signature Chick-​Fil-​A sauce is also a favorite condiment of mine (think honey mustard meets barbecue sauce).
And once again, they get all five stars for their impeccable customer service. All their employees are super friendly and helpful, which really sets them apart from being just another fast food chain. All in all, definitely a classier establishment and a healthier alternative to satisfy any fast food craving!

Good quality food but the worst restaurant placement I have ever been to in my life. It’s safer to swim across crocodiles and piranha infested river than to get in this place. You have to cut across the busy drive through to enter the establishment.

My boss gave me a free card to come check out the new Chick-​fil-​A on Route 83. I’ve always been a skeptic of Chick-​fil-​A because I’ve found that the food hasn’t lived up to the hype for me. When I went to another location, I tried the spicy chicken sandwich but didn’t think it was all that. I went by a friend’s recommendation and tried the original crispy sandwich and I liked it a lot. It’s a very simple chicken sandwich but it’s extra juicy and the pickles add an extra depth to it. The fries I received were cold and I’m not sure why because the sandwich was hot. Their crinkle fries are normally my favorite part! The service at the Drive-​Thru was okay, albeit a little rushed because they were busy.
I would give the overall experience a 3.5. I will come back and give them another try for sure, but as of now I wouldn’t call myself a fan.
