The worker there named Bob(at least that was what was on his shirt) is rude. I wanted to buy 10 to 15 knives from them as gifts to my squad and asked if they could do something on the price. Especially since it was not a name brand knife that I have seen in gun shows for a quarter of the price. One of the workers said to ask the manager so I waited… Bob ask me if he can help but I told him that I was waiting for the manager and why. Bob tells me we don’t do deals that this is a legitimate store as if I offended him. He says you can wait but we don’t do that and gives a sarcastic laugh… This is the case with most buff shops. They know your limited as to where you can go so they don’t care how they treat you. That’s ok Bob, I won’t every buy from your legitimate store again…

I had no issues with customer service like some of the other reviewers seemed to have had. However, even if I did I would still come here! They have everything you need! Oh and guess what, they even have it in your size! Can you imagine that?!? I bought a pair of 5.11 BDUs, a belt, an 8 point hat and some other trinkets. Prices are decent. FYI buy some 5.11 pants and you won’t have to replace them for 3 years or more. Love that stuff. or buy that homemade«handsewn» no name crap at some discount store and watch the color fade out of them during your 8 hour tour. Will be coming here again.

Very poor customer service. No one is willing to help. The staff looks at you like if you are a bother to them.

My recent firearm purchase went smooth as silk. The staff was a lot friendlier than I am used to at gun/buff shops. The transaction was explained in great detail and the staff handled the paperwork flawlessly. I would certainly make the trek to queens for any future transactions.

Poor customer service. The staff here is so rude. My boyfriend walks in so excited and he starts to ask some questions about the guns. Their responses were snarky and unhelpful. All he wanted was to find out more about the gun he was looking at but the staff was not interested in helping. He also wanted to buy a knife, and he thought they had some really good ones, but left without anything due to the poor service they gave.

So, I call the Queens location to find out if they had any Glock 26 Gen 4s in stock. The clerk tells me they have four left. I tell the clerk that I am going to call customer service immediately to pay for the gun in full and I will pick it up in a few days. I call customer service, pay for the gun in full and then call the Queens location to give them my order number and the heads up to put the gun to the side. The guy who answered the phone assured me the gun would be available on the day I wanted to come in. I referred a friend of mine who does the same exact thing(I paid first and he paid an hour after me) and we decide that we will head to the store to pick up the guns together. The day we decide to go pick up the guns, I tell my friend that I cannot go early in the morning like he wanted to so I will just have to go later on in the day myself. When my friend gets to the store, they tell him there are no more guns in stock! By the way, the guy drove all the way from Staten Island to pick this gun up. He calls customer service and they promise to overnight him a Glock from their NJ store since they had 30 in stock.(btw he has yet to pick up the gun). I call customer service and they promise to investigate the matter on my end. Hours go by with no response. I call customer service several more times for updates and they confirm that for some strange reason there are no more Glock 26s at the Queens location. So, I tell them that I bought the gun a week ago and paid for it in full, referred my friend who also bought and paid for a gun in full, so please have a gun delivered from their NJ location so I can pick it up in Queens. THEN the customer service rep has the audacity to tell me she is going to charge me for shipping costs. I said why would I ever pay shipping costs when it was not my fault that they either(a) sold my gun that I had already paid for to another person or,(b) never had the gun in the Queens store in the first place but took my money anyway. I asked for a manager, but was never transferred to one. I was so pissed that I cancelled the order and asked for a refund. Now, I am in a pinch to find this firearm before LEO qualifications. It’s safe to say that this will likely be my last transaction with this store. EDIT: Brandon from customer service was super helpful during the whole process. He single-handedly fixed my problem and was able to get the gun overnighted for me.

Best buff shop in NYC! Better than R&K, Iron Works, Parks, Meyers, etc… Huge inventory. Clean(yes, as you prob know, some buff shops are filthy!). The staff is helpful, friendly and knowledgeable. Met the owner once, he was a class act. Joe, the manager, is a great guy too. Highly recommend this store.
