Can’t beat this place for comfort, hospitality & taste. World class French onion soup, pizza meat lovers was plentiful. Glazed pork chop was fork tender. Freshly baked bread. Wonderful.

Very disappointed! Our meals were unimaginative and unflavored. When they finally remembered our appetizer(at the end of our meal), the escargot had no doubt been taken from a can, put on a plate with butter, heated an served. I overheard the table behind us saying they thought they had caught their broiled fish from the creek out back, as the portion was so small. Our waitress did a disappearing act and we had to flag down a different one twice to finally get our food. The cooking staff seen going in and out of kitchen were either scantily clad, or wearing filthy aprons, jeans, and t-shirts. Very unprofessional atmosphere for a place commanding such premium prices. Cross this one off the list.

I’ve never felt the need to give a bad review. Even my bad experiences were eatable. But this place showed me a new level of bad. I ordered the surf and turf: a petite filet and shrimp. I’m still waiting for someone to ask if my meal is ok. It’s terrible. Not just bad. Terrible. I got my food 15 minutes ago and one person in our party is still waiting for their food. 30 minute wait on refills. I hope this is a one time thing. Buyer beware. PS. They finally came to take my plate. I asked if it was common for people to order the surf and turf and leave half of it to throw in the trash. She said no, and quickly took my plate and left. I paid full price.

Cozy bar restaurant with steaks seafood and wood fired pizzas. It’s five minutes outside Ellicottville with lots of parking. Great when especially when village is crowded. It also is loaded with antiques for sale if you like that sort of thing. Family operated and always friendly service. Prices are very reasonable.

WOW was that BAD!!! I thought ‘service with a sneer’ was just a joke, until I went here. Since when does it take over ANHOUR to make 2 pizzas? And while we waited, our drinks were left on a neighboring table for us to look at… I guess to help build our thirst. And then the same thing was done with our first pizza! But what really put me over the top wasn’t these tricks, or even the snotty, obviously overworked, server, but when the ‘head waitress’ came to insult us for asking about our food.(It had already been an hour, so why were we so pushy? Apparently an hour and a quarter is typical!). I would never, ever, EVER go here again. Restaurants like this don’t deserve to be in business, particularly when the food is just average. Do yourself a favor & go elsewhere.

Great place. Their spaghetti and meatballs is EXCELLENT(dare I say comes close to my Mom’s recipe). Friendly Bill the bartender. The wood oven fired pizza was delicious as well(love the thick pepperoni). It is a cozy locals place for dinner and we loved sitting at the bar. Next time we come back we will definitely return to Bird Walk!

The place is neat, the food was good, unfortunately they were a little understaffed the night we were there, but I’m not holding that against them at this point. Blackened catfish was wonderful.
