Stopped just by chance. It was a great place. Cozy, good service, good prices, good food, lots of character.

We love this place. It is quaint and has quality food and drink. We’ve been here several times now on chilly fall mornings because it feels like the epitome of fall. Old brick buildings and warm lattes. The price is pretty decent. Lattes are ~$ 3 and sandwiches seem to hover around $ 7. The sandwiches are made to order and have all fresh ingredients. I have had a breakfast sandwich with bacon on a croissant, and the chicken salad with cranberry on ciabatta. One star off because the food always takes forever, regardless of how many people are in the place. People seem consistently annoyed at this. They get drinks out a decent pace though. Also, I had the butterbeer latte once and it was kind of bitter and tasted nothing – I mean nothing – like butterbeer. Merp. Their dirty chai is delicious though!

Very small café with a few tables inside and a few tables outside. Coffee and food were decent, but given the small size wasn’t really a great place to hang out and socialize with friends.

I got the mainstreet sandwich. it was pretty good. Coffee and espresso drinks are soooo good. Sweetness was just right, unlike other places that puts you in sugar coma. BUT I think the best of all is its environment, in outside seating.

Food is okay but nothing special. Service was quite disorganized. It may be because it was busy Sunday. We won’t necessarily go back.

this shop is whole in the wall! Simply put, the best cup of coffee I have had in years. I ordered Vanilla dream and Sleepy hollow, both awesome! Vanilla dream has more«espresso taste» in it. Highly recommended. Will try their sandwich menu soon.

My daughter and I continue our hunt for the best cafes and espresso serving hot spots wherever we go, and we are still discovering new locations close to home. This time in historic Ellicott city. This little slice of Paris is tucked away just off the Main Street but has great access to free parking. Limited seating inside and out but either way you’ll enjoy their signature espresso drinks. No coffee foam art on these drinks but the espresso beans’ dark roasted goodness in my «Sleepy Hollow» signature drink was nicely offset by by a little brown sugar and the result was rich and smooth. Prices were in the average range by today’s standards for espresso drinks. Nice atmosphere, lots of stone inside, a theme in this historic town. Next time we’ll try something off of the menu and report back on our findings. Great pick me up pit stop if you are browsing for art or antiquities.

Ok so I came here yesterday morning at around 8am. I ordered a breakfast sandwich and a iced chai. The chai was delicious. Unfortunately I was told that no one prepped anything the night before so they were unable to make any breakfast sandwiches Considering that only one girl was working and she couldn’t do breakfast at 8am on a weekday I felt like this was A bad sign. Plus the girl really didn’t know how to do a refund so I just ordered this delicious almond croissant instead and an iced tea. Usually I wouldn’t come back to a place based off this experience but I was determined to eat here today so I came back for lunch… and I’m glad I did. For lunch I ordered the chicken salad wrap. Now I know that doesn’t sound too thrilling at all but it really was that damn good. In fact before I ate it a woman sitting across from me told me it was the best chicken salad she ever had. I’d have to agree

Love all of the vegan and vegetarian options! I had the Hollow(vegetarian wrap). It was good, but could have been amazing if they added a few more veggies like carrots, sprouts, or roasted red pepper. The baked goods looked fresh and delicious.

Cute clean café with a few indoor tables. Wouldnt recommend coming with groups if you wanted some privacy. Outdoor seating is available with a couple tables. If you wanted to satisfy your sweet tooth with desserts other than the ones they sell, next door you can find an ice cream shop, scoopdahdeedoo. Now the food, bought the hamilton(~$ 7), which i thought was a bit pricey(no sides or drinks). The sandwich tasted good, nothing really special. Haven’t tried the coffee or pastries, but looked tasty. I had to resist and decided to give a try the next time i come.

Stopped here for breakfast before heading to the western part of MD for a little getaway. Wanted to try somewhere new. The coffee is very good. It’s serve yourself and seriously good. I thought they’d have more in the way of breakfast sandwiches but there were only two options. We got the sausage, egg and cheese on croissant. It was premade and then«cooked». Pretty tasty though. Hot and melty. The baked good looked pretty good too. There is a little inside seating but if it’s nice, sit outside and listen to the river.

This was my second time here. Cute place. Amazing baked goods. The coffee was great. WiFi was free and super fast. Friendly service. I sat here for 30 minutes or so and got some work done and the employees were very nice.

It’s a tiny little gem. The drip coffee is quite good. I tried a butterbeer latte, as well, and was pleased to find it wasn’t hellishly sweet with syrups. I also got a veggie-loaded egg sandwich that was warm and melty and delightful. Service is a myth — counter only, nobody sees the Wizard, not nobody, not nohow. At least not out in the open. It was very cold the day I hung out here, so the limited indoor seating was very apparent and the bathroom was freezing, baseboard heater be damned. The tables and stools give a sort of child-having-a-tea-party feeling. When the weather gets nice I bet the parking lot people watching is lovely from café tables. It’s right off a huge free parking lot, so you won’t have to hunt like other OEC locations. Which almost pushed this to a 4-star. 3.5÷5.

It’s very small inside, but when the weather is good, there’s v abundant seating outside. Service is good, but the staff is small so if there’s a line be prepared to wait. They have a decent variety of hot and cold drinks in their menu, along with a few bottled selections. The pastries and foods all appear fresh. We had the chicken pesto goat cheese sandwich and were very satisfied and surprised with the quality. The pesto was really good and it went great with the goat cheese, and there was generous amounts of shredded chicken. Their loaded potato soup was flavorful and hearty, and the sweet potato soup tasted like thanksgiving with the savory herbs they used. I liked their pumpkin delight latte which was pumpkin and chocolate, but I usually stick to their iced Americano. Overall, it’s a great little café with some quick and light sandwich and soup options.

Amazing and delicious coffee and their egg & cheese crossing was delicious. They forgot my order or it took way too long to make. Over 10 mins but they apologized and brought it out ASAP definitely recommend it!

I’ve been here twice. First time I only had one of those brownie type things that are loaded with chocolate chips, coconut on top,(it may have been a blondie) I can’t remember but it was good enough to help my sugar fix. My second visit, I ordered the chicken salad wrap(hold the mustard) and it was very good! If you like chicken salad with cranberry then I would get this. It didn’t have a ton of mayo & the tomatoes were VERY red which was an added bonus since I have been places that have had some dull looking tomatoes. Yes this place is tiny. There are 3 little tables inside. Plenty of seating outside.

I was going to hike a trail in the area but stopped by for a drink and something to eat before I headed out. OK, so a scone is probably not what most people eat before a hike. We split a raspberry scone because it is HUGE. The scone was flavorful, fresh, and moist. The shop is small and really cutely decorated, but I sat outside because the weather was amazing. They have about 2 – 3 tables and chairs outside, one set right near the water, so I took that one.

Love the pastries here! Especially the croissants and turnovers. Little French Market Café also offers coffee/tea varieties and breakfast/lunch items. For a small café, there are a few seats indoors, but plenty outside. Parking Lot D, which is right outside this joint, is free.

I have a special place in my heart for this out of the mainstream coffee spot. Small numbered staff are warm and friendly each time i have been here. My best drink is the Chai Latte made here. I have had the Dr Jekyll and Mr Hyde sandwiches, each is unique and freshly delicious. Despite the small interior space & limited seating, it offers free WiFi, it is clean & tidy, very cozy. I like the intimate feel. The hours of operation: Mon-Fri 7am-6pm Sat 8am-6pm Sun 8am-5pm I asked the staff to write their hours down, and what i just posted should supersede the other hours listed or guesstimated in previous reviews. This place is closed on Thanksgiving Day’, open 7am-6pm on the following day.
