Decided to go back and give them another chance and lucky for me, the young man and two other young men were working. All three were GREAT! They were friendly, outgoing and extremely helpful. Each time I went in after that, whether it was just one or all all three of them working, they were always just as great. So… on one of my visits to the store when the manager was in, I told him what amazing young men he had on staff and that he should value them for the employees they are. He was very thankful to have a customer give his employees a compliment rather than a complaint. :)

Have you ever been on a road trip and needed to get a caffeine fix, but when you checked your Starbucks app it told you that the nearest store was 101 miles away? Yeah, I hadn’t either, until I was driving across Nevada, so I was glad to see the little highway signs saying that there was one in Elko(yes, approximately 100 miles from where I checked), and the bonus was that this is a drive-through and there is a gas station next door. This may become my «standard» stop in Elko for those reasons alone. For my particular experience, service was prompt enough, and the drive-through guy was helpful enough to say that they could make me a holiday spice flat white even though it was officially off of the menu. I was perfectly happy with my experience here.

Stopped here while driving through Nevada and I have to say, what a pleasant crew that was working. They were welcoming, understanding of our slow process in ordering because we were indecisive and tired, and SONICE! The one girl that was working had a message gram on her cup and was telling us how people always ask to make notes on them if they are brining someone a drink. She thinks Starbucks should have heart notes on their cups in February that you can write love grams in. Brilliant! Hope she pitches them. Great caffeine fix and a lovely pick me up from the ladies here!

Horrible customer service. Took them 15 minutes to make my iced grande americano(pour three shots over ice)!!! There were 5 people working and didn’t look like they like their job very much. My husband got the mango orange smoothie and tasted like bunch of bananas blended and no sign of orange or mango. Go to McDonald’s and get a better smoothie. Just horrible service.

Absolutely the worst starbucks drink I’ve ever had. I ordered a very berry hibiscus refresher with light ice and light water. What I got was a drink with more than half the cup filled with ice and berry-colored water. I am not exaggerating: there was NO syrup in the drink. I paid $ 4.90 for half a glass of berry-colored water. I’m very disappointed.

For my particular order, when I want coffee in the morning, Starbucks is the place I choose to go to daily in Elko. I normally order a 3 shot latte 16 ounce. It’s less than any of the other places in town plus I can use my phone to pay for coffee and build to my next free $ 15 coffee ;). The food here has been just fine and up to Starbucks standards. It is convenient to the freeway so if you are working on a tight schedule going through Elko… this really can’t be beat for speed. I always walk in and they are always friendly, I’ve never done the drive through so I can’t comment on that experience. I’ve liked the few breakfast sandwiches I have gotten as well. And if you really want a nice treat… try the crème brûlée nuts!

Outside front of store filthy dirty and inside there were about 4 baristas and they took a long time before they acknowledged that I was even standing there. Drink was good but service not good at all!

The drinks seemed fine, normal Starbucks fare. Usually more burnt espresso than tasty. But that’s not why it’s getting two stars. The flies. Good God. Mouth breathers beware. I sat down to wait and a fly or two landed on me about every two minutes. I was too scared to open my mouth to sip my drink. Yonkers. I guess that’s why they call it a pit stop. Because it’s a pit?

This Starbucks was fine, they were extremely slow, so don’t come if you’re in a hurry. The drinks were a bit below average, watery but not too bad, the pastries were fine but a bit burned if you ask for them warmed up.

While waiting for a coffee, I noticed that the counter where they put the cups with orders on them are placed on a counter that is soaking wet with liquid. Not one person took the effort to wipe down the counter, letting each cup get wet on the bottom(even the paper cups). Even a manager made no effort. I don’t know if this liquid was clean water or dirty coffee spillage. It made me think twice about what contaminants were on my cup. This is one of the dirtiest Starbuck’s I’ve ever been in. The service is hit or miss and the outside patio is always filthy.

Stopped here in the morning on our way out of town for the last leg of a road trip. While I appreciate the pace that the staff was moving on a semi– busy Saturday morning, this is below par for Starbucks. The customer service was lacking in friendliness and making customers feel appreciated. I asked for a tea in my own to-go mug — she asked me what size it was in an irritated manner as if I was inconveniencing her. when we were picking up our drinks from the counter she leaned around me and my boyfriend asking the man behind us loudly what he needed, taking his entire order before we were able to move away from the counter(I wasn’t moving super slowly). the breakfast wrap I ordered had still frozen egg whites in the middle, and my tea tasted like something else got in the cup. having worked for several years in coffee shops, I hope the manager or owner works on customer service and the importance of treating customers great in balance with throwing out your products. we probably wouldn’t stop here again.

Rude drive thru lady. She heard the order wrong then tried to charge us for her mistake all the while providing major attitude. Who does that!!!

It’s really not too bad however not up to the standards that most other Starbucks attain. The staff is what makes this location what it is. They are friendly and tend to remember everyone that comes in. My only wish is that they would learn how to make a dry cappuccino, well, dry. The time to make drinks tends to be a little on the slow side. I was going to this location every morning but have since started to visit one of the other coffee shops if I see more than 3 cars in line. A 15 – 20 minute wait just doesn’t work for me. I will continue to visit this location when time permits. Although my cappuccino is too«wet» it’s still a great cup of joe.

Reliable as always. Quick service, got coffee and snacks and they were good. Cleanliness was fine.

This Starbucks isn’t bad, but it isn’t good either – it’s just okay. Service here can be hit or miss(there’s only been once that my drink was messed up and once that it was completely forgotten). They are usually pretty friendly, but some of the baristas have a tendency to be short and very businesslike. If I had a choice for another Starbucks in Elko, I would go to it just to see if the quality was better. However, being a Starbucks, gold card member, coffee junkie, this Starbucks works just fine. It has the drinks I want and the coffee I need.

This is the only stand-alone Starbucks in Elko. The other is a stand inside of the Red Lion. The interior of this place always seems to be in some state of disarray. There are usually papers strewn all over the place or the trash is overflowing. The patio outside does not appear to be kept up at all. If they empty the outside trash can more than twice a week, I’d be surprised. The service through the drive-through is hit or miss. They’re sometimes out of strange things and don’t seem to have access to the same promotional materials as the stores in more populous areas. We picked up a card with stickers on it to work towards a free holiday drink in Reno. They seemed to have seen the cards before when we presented it here, but they hadn’t seen the stickers. Instead they just sharpied their initials over the space for our two drinks. That being said, the majority of the baristas are pleasant and happy to help.

I can’t one star it because I will still stop here when in Elko, But this place is always filthy. EVERY time I have come here over the course of 3 years(not a local, just passing through, or on station for 10 days) Outside on the walkway and patio is a mess of garbage and abandoned cups, wrappers, newspapers, whatever. The door handle and glass is dirty, no garbage cans outside. The floor inside always has scraps of whatever scattered all over. Everything«above the floor» seems OK and clean enough, the staff is average, not as friendly as some Starbucks, but not rude. Someone is dropping the ball here, it does not compare to the standards they seem to hold elsewhere. It would take 3 minutes for someone to pick up the front walk/patio every few hours. It looks like it NEVER gets done. And get a power washer on your sidewalk/patio once a month, it’s just gross. Have a chat with your manager, they have lost the plot. I’m sure people steal the trash cans, or just are pigs, but that does not mean you just throw your hands up and present a messy product.

This is a solid spot for a quick cuppa on the way through Elko. The gas station next door is always cheapest in town and there’s a supermarket in the parking lot for extra snacks. I’ve only ever been here when I drive through the area and they still remember me. From what I can tell, they do that for everyone. The drinks are quick and well made, like a Starbucks should be. This one is considerably better than the one in the casino.

For a very brief period in my life, I was a Starbucks barista. I’m somewhat familiar with how to make a drink taste great or totally suck, and this Starbucks is hit or miss. Sometimes I get a barista who cares about how my drink tastes, and others I get someone who throws the ingredients(and sometimes not even the right ones) into the cup with reckless abandon. This Starbucks is convenient and okay in a pinch, but if you’ve got the time, make it to one of the other coffee shops in town and support local business.

When the Boy’s mom’s house is locked and everyone is dead asleep, then we head over here for our morning wake-me-up. The staff is always friendly, and the selection is fresh. I’m only giving four stars though because they didn’t have the food other Starbucks has — namely the greek yogurt with honey(or the sandwiches). I understand that it’s in a town the middle of Nevada, but hey… some people want something other than pastries!(I recommend their asiago bagel) Oh yeah, and on Saturdays a group of guys come in and play Magic: The Gathering, so if my people come here(the nerds), then you should too(when you’re stopping through).
