Staybridge Suites Elkhart North

This is a wonderful place to stay at Staybridge Suites. The rooms are very nice and clean. They have a little kitchen in the room with s drive full size fridge and dishwasher. They offer a pool and fitness center movie theater room. Outdoor basketball court and a grilling area. The price was great. The staff supper friendly. Highly recommend plan on coming back in about 3 weeks.

Really comfy bed but the basics were not helpful for this overnight traveler: no shampoo, no bath mat, no working printer anywhere (even behind in the hotel’s own office.) Couldn’t stay for breakfast because I needed to find a copier before morning meeting. Although I didn’t travel with kids, those who did seemed to have a good, safe time in the pool.

I stayed here a year ago and it was nice, 3 – 4 stars. However, my recent stay wasn’t so pleasant:
The hallway and room smelled like smoke (the remedy was to hand me a deodorizer and have me spray down the room– «there were no other rooms available.»
Kids were running around in the halls all night. Probably the same kids that were jumping off of the furniture in the room above us.
The bathroom and bedroom doors had been kicked in and left half patched.
I don’t think I’ll stay here again

Roaches. Yes, roaches. I know it is hard to keep hotels clean when they have full kitchens, but of the dozens of staybridge locations I have patronized, this is the first one that we have seen bugs in. We decided to keep our luggage in the car to avoid bringing any hitchhikers home with us. Additionally the housekeepers barged in the room even though we had the do not disturb sign on the door. We were still in bed and not fully dressed. We were upset about our privacy being violated and the housekeepers claimed that they were told we were checked out. When we called the front desk we were told that was a lie, but no one ever apologized. We travel to Elkhart for business quote a bit but the staybridge there will not be an option. More so because of the bugs than the housekeeping incident, but just a reminder to keep the door dead bolted at all times when inside.

5 stars for 5 reasons.

I stayed here for just one night. This isn’t a super luxurious hotel, but when you consider it’s Elkhart and under $ 100 per night, I think you’ll agree it’s worth four stars.
There are many amenities here, which make it a nice choice: pool, basketball court, fitness center, grills, kitchenettes, free breakfast, a small theater, free DVD rental from their small library. We didn’t use the majority of these, but it was nice they were available.
Breakfast in the morning was a madhouse. Picture a free for all where savages haven’t eaten in weeks and you’ll have an idea of how people were acting. There was one woman from the hotel who was working to service what was a steady flow, for a few hours, of about 30 people at a time. She was in charge of washing dishes, cooking food and getting it out to the buffet. I’m shocked that the hotel didn’t have more than one person *on a Sunday morning* helping out. She was frazzled and I felt bad for her. Had the food been continuously stocked, silverware/​plates available when you needed them and coffee warm, this might have been five stars. But unfortunately the breakfast left us on a sour note.

Great hotel if you are staying for long period of time. Unfortunately, I’m deducting stars because they forgot to clean my room the next morning. Very spacious rooms and king bed!

We stayed at the Staybridge Suites in Elkhart for 9 days while our RV was getting repaired. The whole staff was so friendly and accommodating to our every need. We were traveling with 3 cats and the two rooms we stayed in were so clean, our cats adapted quickly. Denita was so helpful with ideas of things to do, I realized soon that she would probably give the shirt off her back if she needed to. What fantastic customer service!

Stayed here 4÷15−4÷17 for the Notre Dame spring game. Awesome room, we had the king suite with a pull out couch. Inside our room was a stove top, dishwasher, refrigerator. Almost felt like our own little apartment. Front desk employee (jacob) was awesome with his customer service. Continental breakfast was well stocked and the food was good. Swimming pool was decent sized, the hotel has a theater room that you can check out to watch a movie in surround sound.

Stayed at the Staybridge during a weekend trip to see a Notre Dame football game. The hotel is right on the highway and made South Bend a quick drive on Saturday morning.
The hotel is pretty new and is loaded with extra amenities that helped make the hotel stay extra pleasant.
The rooms were very spacious, clean and well kept. Everything in the kitchens was clean and put away.
The breakfast was a standard buffet set up, but the food was good and always kept full.
I’d definitely recommend staying at the Staybridge Suites in Elkhart if you’re looking for a room in the area.
