Not sure if I would like this place on a night other than Sunday, but the Sunday night crowd was perfect for me since I don’t love the rowdy bar scene. The signature mozzarella sticks were awesome, just like homemade sticks at a county fair. The roadhouse burger with Mojo’s was delish. I will be back to try the fatty McGee.

We managed to find our dive bar on the first try while in Elkhart! Well, technically it was on the second try since we wanted to check it out on a Sunday night the first time (and it appears that Elkhart closes on Sunday nights), but after reading the reviews and the menu and live music schedule online, we knew we had to go.
Everything was exactly what we were after. The staff are super friendly, food (typical bar fare) is very tasty, drinks are *strong* (we won’t discuss how fuzzy the next morning was) and decent quality, and the band was rocking.
It also appears they do weekend brunch, and the menu looked tasty, but we didn’t make it back in to try it.
Good to know there’s someplace right up our alley when we’re in town getting the RV worked on.

I haven’t been here in a couple years. Back then they had trouble getting open for lunch on the weekends so we gave up on them. The couple times we did get in the food was terrific. They messaged me on Facebook a couple weeks ago and said they got that all figured out and invited me back. We went for lunch today. Total disappointment. We both got burgers and they were nothing like I remember. Flat, smashed, dry and overcooked. No lettuce, tomato, onion. Not so much as a pickle spear. We each got the mojo potatoes which was a $ 3 add on. I remember these being a perfect tribute to the shakeys mojo but not this time. They were so thin that after cooking they were more like a chip. The seasoning (not breading) was so salty I had to come home and take an extra blood pressure pill. The food was just really bad. I don’t get to have lunch with my brother as often as I’d like and it’s just a shame when the food is the topic of conversation in a bad way.

Much better experience my 2nd time. Great burger, I got the Smokehouse, and needed 2 napkins, which is a good thing. My wife loved her fish tacos. I think I’ll try the tacos for myself the next time

Not a bad place at all. It’s got a dive bar feel’ the interior is dark and small but the food is pretty good and the beers are cheap. The five star stacker is a huge burger!

Such a great deal. Used Unilocal to find the place and had one of the best burgers ever. Unilocal them and use the discount available on their Unilocal site. It cost us $ 10.00 including the $ 6 tip!!!

The first time for 4 of us to eat here. We all enjoyed our food. The burgers were good. Mine could have had a little more seasoning, I thought. The prices were fair. They don’t have a family dining area, the whole restaurant is a bar and you need to be 21, so I was glad our teenagers weren’t along like usual, for that reason.
A nice option in Elkhart.

Cassopolis, MI
We had a groupon for this place $ 10 for $ 20 worth of
food and we love karaōke, so chose a nite they had
that going too. The food was great and the karaōke
was soo fun. We went around 8, then karoke started
at 9, and we left around midnite. The giant shrimp
were just that — yum! A great place to chill back
eat great, and enjoy the program! Karaōke is
wednesday at 9
and thursday’s at 8 cept for first thursday of the month
