Omg could there BE anything better than a burrito sized sushi roll!!! Nooooo my friend, there can not! I love the Sashimi wrap. It’s spicy, fresh, perfect mixture of textures. There’s almost never a line or a wait when I’ve been in. The staff is kind and the site very clean. Mmmm mmmm yum!

My brother took me here I was very skeptical of the sushi burrito concept. We both ordered a different burrito and split them. My brother had a salmon one and I had a shrimp one. They were both amazing and filling.

Had their triple sashimi burrito and it was pretty good! Tuna, salmon, hamachi wrapped in a roll of happiness. Sometimes they go too heavy on the mayo. And I don’t like when I bite into it and I pull out a whole asparagus or cucumber. The rolls are also smaller than I remember too, and it has been over a year since I first ate here. But nonetheless, a satisfying meal when I’m too lazy to make it myself.

This place was amazing! The portions sizes and quality of food are well worth the price! I would recommend it to ANYONE who has a big appetite and love for sushi.

I love the sushi burrito! But here is why am giving them a 4 star review. I have been coming to this place since it opened and the sushi burritos are never consistent. Here is what I mean when I first started the burritos were bigger and then they got smaller with less fish and now more expensive. I get that ingredients go up and wages too, but if you higher the prices the burrito should stay the same size. However, sometimes they surprise me and make me a nice size sushi burrito. Again the food here is good and ingredients are fresh, I just wish the size of the burrito would always be the same.

The place looks like a Japanese Chipotle(design-wise)…but the sushi burrito was on point. My lady ordered the sashimi burrito and shared it with me. I should have ordered my own. T_T I don’t always like putting long round things in my mouth, especially if it’s meat. But this time, I wasn’t complaining. Definitely will be back again to try some of their other stuff. Btw — the desserts? Wow… they were larger than my lady’s hand. The taro flavor was great! Now I’m gonna be a fatty.

SOGOOD. I used to make the 30 minute drive when I went to UC Davis just for this. Keep in mind that I was a broke college student who thought driving 10 minutes somewhere was a «long drive». It was always worth it. I was addicted to their Sashimi Burrito Roll. Something about the sauce they put in it was amazing. I have had the Tempura Shrimp Burrito as well which was great. The shrimp was crispy and golden and they don’t skimp. My friend preferred the tempura shrimp and I preferred the sashimi. Service was always friendly too.

I tried to order the Pablo shrimp but they no longer serve it! The volcano nachos are pretty good and noteworthy. It comes with spicy mashed tuna, avocado, and fish eggs drizzled in sriracha and mayo. We tried all four sauces,(avocado mayo, sweet mayo, spicy, mayo, abs habenero mayo) and all of them are good. The sashimi sushi burrito was ok but it is big like a burrito so it can be shared. I think I’ll stick to regular sushi bc I like having all the flavored hit my taste buds all at once. The sushi burrito was too messy to eat.

I visited this place because I am a fan of burrito sushi. I ordered 1) panko chicken sushi burrito and 2) tempura shrimp sushi burrito. The gal was nice enough to leave out the green onions for me and switch out the habanero sauce for their aioli on the panko chicken one. The order took less than 10 minutes even though there was a huge phone order placed as I walked in, so I appreciate that they prioritized which customer was right in their restaurant. Alright for the sushi burritos… Huge. I wanted to try both and honestly thought that they can’t be that huge, but they were. Panko chicken no complaints, the veggies matched satisfyingly(and I don’t like veggies). The tempura shrimp, I thought I would like more, but I didn’t so much. Very impressed with the fact that they made it the type that the rice is on the outside. so props there. The only thing that wasn’t wow-ing me was the choice of veggies in that one. The coleslaw type of thing wasn’t hitting the tempura right. I do appreciate the creations though and glad I tried this place. Keep on wrappin and rollin’

I’m kind of addicted to this place. :P The embarrassing this is, I detest parking downtown, so I’m more likely to find an excuse to go shop in Elk Grove so I can come here than to just go to the downtown location, which is way closer to me. One day I decided to just come here and straight back home. It was an hour round trip! Was still worth it. My favorite burrito is the triple sashimi, followed by the deep fried. I had gastric bypass years ago and can only eat half of one of these at a time and both keep well in the fridge to eat the next day. The deep fried’s outer coating can be easily ‘revived” by a few seconds in the microwave. The only sides/appetizers I’ve tried are the cream cheese eggrolls(not impressed) and the stuffed jalapenos(not bad).

This place alright. cool concept but I feel like they are very skimpy on the ingredients. Why call it a sashimi burrito if there is such a small piece of sashimi? As you can see by my picture, the burrito contains mainly shrimp tempura … The other burrito we ordered was the panko chicken and also the jalapeño poppers. The panko chicken was good. As you can see by the picture, lots of chicken! The poppers were ok as well. nothing too special about it. Stuffed with cream cheese and spicy tuna then deep fried. Kind of oily but what do you expect?

I was surprised when the GPS took me to a nice little neighborhood in Elk Grove that I have never seen before. The restaurant was quite hidden away in the residential area. The food was great. Very unique idea! A huge burrito size sushi roll. It was tasty and very filling. I got the Shrimp Tempura burrito. The only down side is the shrimp tempura was quite cold and stale. It would have tasted perfect if they fry the tempura to order every time to keep the crisp to it. They offered many different sauces which was great! There’s spicy mayo, sweet mayo, wasabi mayo, and habanero mayo. My boyfriend and I got all the sauces to dip with. The last few bites gets really messy, beware and dress accordingly! We also ordered the Cream Cheese Eggrolls which had cream cheese and imitation crab in it. The taste was very creamy and rich. I just wasn’t feeling it. I got very tired of the taste after 1 – 2 rolls, but this is solely personal opinion since there are so many reviews on this item. The service was wonderful. The cashier was very helpful and friendly! 5 stars for the service, 4 for the food. I most likely would come back to try their bento boxes.

Review for my last visit way back, totally forgot to Unilocal it. So I enjoyed my sushi burrito! Service was good nothing to really complain about this place, except that it was far and hidden– neighbor sorta’ plaza place. Overall, it’s all about experiencing new foods… so I’m glad I gave it a try. I’m not hook’d on it or anything– so not sure if I’ll go back anytime soon.

Been here 3 times. First 2 times I got the soft shell crab burrito! The 3rd time I got the deep fried burrito and fried spicy tuna. 1st time there I had the soft shell crab! Omg so yummy !! It has a pink colored sushi wrap over it. Idk the difference between that or the typical green sushi wrap, but it was good! We also ordered the carne fries and couple other snacks(forgot what) it was all decent. Not the best but it was ok/good 2nd time there: soft shell crab. The 2nd time having it, it was okay. This is the reason why this place gets 4 stars instead of 5. Seems like their rolls aren’t consistent ! Anyway this time all I had was veggys in there so it tasted so plain or I was just eating veggys with the sushi wrap lol felt like they were running out or chef was being cheap with what to put in there . 3rd time: I had the deep fried burrito! Omg that was so yummy too. It was just like a deep fried California roll. It had tamago, cream cheese and imitation crab! I also got the deep fried tuna. That was okay. That roll wasn’t made to be deep fried, so maybe thats why it didn’t taste as good as I expected. Roll tasted dry and I def had to dip it in extra sauce ! Their sauces are good… The spicy mayo and spicy jalapeño dip! Service was good ! Nice workers and they bring the food to you if u eat inside . The layout of the place was clean and creative design! Good place to hangout with friends. Overall this place is good ! I would come back !!

I’ve driven by this place and been meaning to check it out. I had been out and didn’t cook dinner so I decided to give this place a world! Lol. I came in for a quick take out. This place is a nice twist. A sushi like wrapped like a burrito! A nice fusion concept. I ordered the panko burrito and the beef burrito. The nice gentleman gave me different sauces to try out. They had a sweet sauce, wasabi, spicy mayo like, hot sauce, and pickled ginger. I’m sure the sauces had fancier names to them, but I can’t remember what he said. Lol. We ate our burritos and they were pretty tasty. As we added the sauces, it changed the flavors. Lol. I ended up adding the sweet sauce with the hot one and it gave it a different twist. Adding the pickled ginger gave it another bite. Lol. Overall, this place was good. Depending on what you order would determine your burst of flavor fusions. Lol. It seem a little expensive for a burrito, though. When I walked in, the place was full. Lots of the young crowd. After I made the order… I discovered that they were all to go orders. Lol. I also noticed they sold beer. Small selection, but they offer it. Lol. I will be back to try out other things…

This place is a cool twist on sushi. I like bite size sushi so why not magnify that 20 times and eat a huge sushi burrito. Ordered a soft shell crab burrito and Tokyo fries to-go. Food was made relatively quick considering about 4 other people were waiting on to-go orders as well. I loved the Tokyo fries! *Warning* this dish is spicy! I love spicy and this dish had a lot of kick with red chili pepper flakes and sriracha sauce. I thought the soft shell crab burrito was the right amount of rice to meat to other toppings. It was really satisfying and flavorful. It didn’t taste frozen or «old». I definitely will come back and try everything else on the menu. The bill can be kind of pricy since each dish is almost $ 10. But one burrito can shared too!

Being the«foodies» we are, we had to order half the menu to get a taste of everything. Carne Asada fries– yes! Meat rich with flavor. Every fry had something good on it. Not too soggy Fully loaded musubi– it comes with an EGG! I can’t say no to eggs I realized. I missed the part that said it had jalapeños on it but besides that unwanted surprise it was good! More places need to make these! Crab/cream cheese: ehh not proportioned nicely, pass Shrimp tempura burrito– YES! So good. Everything you can imagine all wrapped into one burrito. Spicy tuna burrito– friend liked it, didn’t try myself– not a fan of tuna, sorry Unilocalers! Indoor seating playing all the hits from the late 90s, early 2000s. Enjoyed that. The hostess was very friendly and accommodating to our indecisiveness while ordering– always a plus!

Five stars because they are super nice, they of is ALWAYS super yummy and it’s really fast service! When I’m in Elk Grove, it’s must that I stop here and then I end up wishing that I had gotten more wraps because my kids can demolish their shared wraps! Located in a smaller lot, so parking can be a little annoying but it’s all good because they do have plenty of seating inside and even out. Always greeted with a smile and a warm welcome whenever I come in and although it is a little pricey. It’s basically what you would pay for good sushi roll at another restaurant but it’s way more filling. Today I got decided on the Sashimi Burrito and the flavors blend so well together and the tuna and salmon were so fresh! I love the spicy mayo and avocado along with the greens and cucumber. AWESOME and SOYUMMY! Wish they had something like this closer to home. But since I’m in Elk Grove at least once a month, I’m able to get my fix :-)
