The Comfort Zone

hmmmm I must not have stepped into the twilight zone with these 5 star ratings that I see– of course, I had a Groupon, but should that make a difference? I like deep tissue massage and have had a myriad of massages from different people and also in different spas in California. Depending on where my pain is, I go to the person who I think does the best job for that area of pain. I had massages by Loni. Her elbows didn’t quite line up to my muscles when she used them which made it uncomfortable. She only used one hand on me about 90% of the time and seemed aloof in using her muscles on me for my ‘deep tissue’ massage. I asked for harder pressure, and the hard pressure lasted about 2 minutes. I use Groupons to try people out. If I have a good experience, I’m going to become a patron on the long term. If an establishment or person uses Groupons and doesn’t give their best effort or gives sub par service, please remember, you’re still getting money. 29.00 an hour is still a pretty good wage, ya know? So I guess if you like a somber massage and don’t like pressure, patronize Loni. If you want a deep tissue, maybe you’ll get what you want for regular price, but I was certainly disappointed with my experience using a Groupon.

I highly recommend The Comfort Zone to anyone who could use «a vacation in an hour». I always look forward to my appointments, whether I’m getting a relaxing massage with Lisa or having a cleansing facial with Tasha. They both do a wonderful job of making me feel welcome and comfortable. Lisa always asks if I have any trouble points for her to focus on, her massages really help me to decompress after a busy work week. Tasha has been really accommodating with my super-​sensitive skin, and has taught me a lot about how to care for my skin to keep it healthy and avoid breakouts. I never used to get massages or facials, but now I do my best to book time with them regularly.

Loni was amazing. Her pressure was perfect from beginning to end. I was very relaxed on the table with no complaints. The breast pillow and table warmer helped a lot. Loni was so easy to talk to and knew exactly what I wanted. I love the atmosphere there right when I walked in, very warm and cozy. I am going back every month from now on.

OUTSTANDING! Kristin has been my masseuse and always does an amazing job. I’m in chronic pain and refuse to take any pain meds, and she’s always able to relieve me of my discomfort.
Kristen is a former professional gymnast, yet she still possesses strong hands and upper body strength. Kristen always asks and knows how much pressure will work the best.
Her prices are reasonable and she gives discounts if you see her more than once a month… which I do to keep my pain manageable.

Lisa has a great technique at a very reasonable price. When I want to splurge and treat myself to a relaxing hour I always call Lisa.

Aaahhh. The Comfort Zone was just what I needed. After three years and two babies since my last message, I was in real need of relaxation and a great massage. I received both at this peaceful location. Once I walked thru the door I felt an instant calmness. The warm and welcoming greeting area soothed away all stress. The massage room was warm, homey and inviting. Kristin Stewart, CMT spent well over an hour working out all my aching areas and left me feeling relaxed and rejuvenated. I highly recommend a visit to anyone looking for a mini vacation and look forward to returning.

Lisa did an awesome job. I went in for the first time last Saturday and had an incredible experience. I highly recommend Lisa over any other massage place in EG and I’ve been to a couple.

Lisa is wonderful. She has a very positive, calming and nurturing way about her. She uses a variety of methods to get rid of my neck and back points which cause horrible headaches. The headaches stay away until the next time I go in, too. I love the warm stones she massages with. Her rates are excellent, especially considering that she uses many techniques other therapists charge extra for. And since I’m a dog person, I love having her precious dog Duncan snuggle with me while I’m getting my massage. Of course he always waits to be petted, snuggled, or played with — he’s the perfect gentleman. The Comfort Zone is truly a vacation in an hour. You don’t want to miss this experience!

I have been going to see Lisa for years! I love everything about The Comfort Zone! From beginning to end, cannot get any better! Lisa remembers me every time i go in and she is very personable. The atmosphere is very homey and relaxing. Can’t wait to go back!

Lisa is AMAZING! I started going to Lisa because of a muscle spasm in my right shoulder that caused severe pain as well as numbness and tingling down my right arm. Even though I am a physician, I didn’t want to take pain medications and muscle relaxers so I thought I would try massage therapy. I have gone to spas and paid up to $ 200 for a massage and while they felt good, they did not give me any relief for the pain. After just one session with Lisa my pain dramatically improved and after 2 it became barely noticeable and now … I just go for pure relaxation. She is very affordable ($ 50 for an hour) and worth every penny.

My husband and I wanted to get massages for our anniversary this year. We went to Comfort Zone today and it was perfect. We had our appointments one after another and it worked great because the waiting room was very comfortable and relaxing. It was my husbands first massage and he’s looking forward to his next one! The hot stones felt wonderful and I felt like the pace was perfect. It never felt rushed but she got all my aching muscles knot free and relaxed.
