So my family decided to change our usual family dentist, so we decided to start here. I came in for a clean and check up. They gave me x rays and what not and told me I had FIVE CAVITIES! I was shocked.
I decided to do my fillings for the cavities a different day, which would have cost around $ 1000. I called to make an appointment, but the dentist was out of town the weekend I needed it done. So we decided to go to our old dentist to get the fillings.
We came in and I didn’t have ANY CAVITIES. They were just dots or plaques that could be scraped off. He even showed me my X-​rays and compared what a cavity is suppose to look like and where they said my cavities would be. There was nothing! He told me a lot of dentist do this, either make this mistake or do this on purpose to make money out of patients.
Thank god I went to my old dentist.

Excellent care. I haven’t been to a dentist in about three years due to a lack of insurance but I was starting to have a problem with one of my teeth so I had to see a dentist. Immediately the staff was extremely friendly, knowledgable, and helpful. I still don’t have insurance so they did their best to help me figure out a payment plan that worked for me. I got a cleaning, x rays, exam, and three cavities filled and it went extremely smoothly with very little pain. Dr. Diaz was an amazing dentist who not only knew exactly what she was doing, but also helped explain things to me and made me feel safe under her care. And to top if off they called the next day to make sure my teeth were healing properly. All around excellent care and I would highly, highly recommend.

Being new to the area and not having any referrals I was nervous about going to a new dentist. I think I’ve had bad experiences my entire life, =(I am now in my 30’s and have two little ones with teeth to take care of too so finding Dr. Marcela Diaz and her staff was a blessing! They are all amazing! They are always all very helpful, informative, honest, and GENTLE! I love love love them, my kids even love them, which I think says a lot! They actually look forward to going to the dentist when they’ve had their cleanings scheduled. I’m sad that I have to go elsewhere now for some major «specialty» work that I need (because of my coverage), but I’ll definitly be back to Pleasant Grove Dental for all my other basic needs! Highly recommended!
