Three stars at best. The store is always out of products and there’s a lot of turn over of staff. I can never fill my order at just this store.

Being a licensed Cosmo I love coming to cosmoprof for my supplies. Most of the time the employees are very nice and help out but every once in a while they just don’t wanna deal with people. I love their selection of products and all the great deals. It is a place only for licensed cosmos so it is not open to the public. Still a lot better then salon centric!

Honestly this place is like home. Just like a few Unilocalers, I too had manyyyy issues with the African American lady with curly short hair, BUT SINCE SHE HAS LEFT, this place is amazing! Every SINGLE staff member is more than helpful! I go here at least twice a week and it’s always great service! Melissa is amazing! She is very knowledgeable when it comes to products. Love this place and staff:)

Dec 7 & 8 for US is 10% off everything. First time going to this cosmoprof, went in to buy wax which was 2/​$ 17-​$ 18 on sale and end papers for $.99/​box regular price. When I went to the register, she rang me up, wax came up to $ 14.99/each and end papers at around $ 2 and she told me the total. Had to tell her the wax is on sale and the end papers were priced $.99/​box plus she didn’t add the 10% off. So she was like oh okay, so she had to check the prices on the floor and ask her manager and supposedly some sale prices and discounts don’t apply to students which I find funny cause the one on Alhambra blvd, I was able to get everything that was on sale or discounted whether or not I was licensed or a student. So please check your receipts and double check on whether you can purchase items on sale for listed prices.

I really hate to do this & give a low rating, but this cosmoprof isn’t the same anymore they have a full new staff including the manager with sucks. Only one of the old girls is there which is cool but lately when I go she isn’t there anymore :(the new staff is ok I guess their not as helpful as the ones before who knew me like a book an always recommended me the best of the best products and with a new manager and workers it’s just not a happy environment as it was and the girls are just whatever and not fun to socialize with like the old workers Asha, Melissa, & Kristina, I hope Regina doesn’t leave yet but I still shop there just wish the staff was a bit better.

The staff here is so rude. I’ve had very few experiences where the staff even said «hi» or «can I help you with anything?». I’ve ordered products through them that they don’t normally stock and they not only forgot to call me when my order came in but they sold half of my order! There is one girl who is actually friendly but the other girls are always gossiping and act as if asking them a question is interrupting them. If it weren’t for their location being near my route to work, I would never come here.

I just left this Cosmo Prof and I have to say, I’ve been to at least 6 different locations and I got the best customer service at this one. Not only were we pains for walking in 3 minutes before closing, with no idea what we were going to get, but they were so helpful when we asked for advice!
Melissa and Jameisha were the only two there and we didn’t end up leaving until 6:10 and running frantically through the store to grab last minute items, but they were polite as ever!
I don’t live in Elk Grove, but if I’m ever in the area I will make sure to go to this location again.

We get the best customer service from the most amazing staff! They inform us on new product and knowledge of what’s in! From hair to nails and furniture for your salon! Thank you girls for paying attention for our needs!

I would give this store ZERO star if possible. The black girl with curly RED hair is very rude and give me a hard time. Do NOT come if you don’t want to deal with a person like this. It Will ruin your day and NOT WORTH your time and money to buy one bottle of shampoo! I agree with all the one star review on here. They need to FIRE the red hair girl or give her a new training again. She do not know the meaning of «customer service».

I’d give this place absolutely no stars if possible. This place is unorganized. But most importantly of all the staff, especially the one with red hair, are EXTREMELY RUDE. I’ve felt hostile in a place of business before but this experience I will ALWAYS remember. She did not help, was condescending, and disrespectful. Asked me for my ID when I KNOW for a fact that they do not ask for my id. (I use my sisters key tag) She said they’re going to ask for a identification on the key tag now. Not true plus, the manager is the same way rude but the red head is more rude that attitude will get you nowhere in life and hope that some day someone will put you in your place. I’m going to drive the EXTRA 20 miles to Arden to get REAL CUSTOMER SERVICE. I’ll take my money elsewhere.

I love going here! The other day I was browsing around and found hairspray that was on clearance for $ 2.00! I also love how it’s only 5 minutes away from my house as well. The only thing is, I wish they had more nail supplies because there was only 1 brand that had acrylic liquid): but I DO like how there are a ton of hair color to choose from!

I have been shopping in this store for over 13 years now (back when it was West Coast Beauty Supply) I have lived in Reno, NV and all over Northern California and I have to say, the ladies in the Elk Grove store are some of the friendliest. They are helpful and are more knowledgeable about products than I expected. I have taking many classes through CosmoProf, including all of the Wella advanced color training and California Smooth. I have been using California Smooth and Rusk Str8 Treatments for over a year now and after chatting with one of the staff, I think I will add CHI’s keratin treatment to my menu. I think my clients will be happy about that! Thank you!

Great selection, helpful staff and open 7 days a week. But make sure you’re licensed, otherwise you can’t shop here

I like going here SO MUCH Better than going to saloncentric on elk grove blvd. Simply because the staff is so much more pleasant! I noticed they a starting to carry more products so that’s a plus also! As soon as they start carrying redken I’ll be happy to never have to go back to the other store!

Glad they have one in EG now. When ever I come here they usually have things that I need in stock. Which makes my trip here easy. Stores clean and usually not too busy so if I have any questions the workers are available. They’re also open on Sunday. Yay!
