Hole in the wall in Elk Grove strip mall. Super weird set up inside BUT clearly this is a Take-Out place not really a dine-in spot. They have a big wood burning oven right there and it’s typically just 1 guy doing everything. I wasn’t too confident in the pizza but dude… it was some damn good pizza! I just got a small with pineapple and pepperoni. The small size is actually quite generous and I was able to share with 2 friends and take home extra! The crust was damn good too, with that wood burning pizza stove, it was crispy and light — I don’t usually eat the crust but this one was worth eating!

The place is a cute family owned business and it’s great pizza for the price you’re paying. Generous portions as well! Whenever I’m craving halal pizza nearby I’ll be heading there, so that’s a plus! It’s a little hard to find the actual location as its in the back of the plaza but it’s worth a try!

My wife made me drive from Folsom to here because she likes it so much, and it’s super cheap for good pizza; a large pizza was only 20

Well we just moved to Elk Grove and so far we are doing more eliminating of places to eat than finding good places. Pk Pizza… We called and asked if delivery was available and the monotone person on the phone said yes we deliver, We then placed our order and he states we just ran out of sausage… What pizza place runs out of one of the main toppings on a pizza! He stated he would put extra pepperoni on it and we agreed, After getting the total and before we hung up the phone asked if the driver can take credit cards/ATM he then said NOCASHONLY for delivery. I reluctantly proceeded with the order and had to drive to the place and pick it up. I arrived and thought I was in the wrong place, just one table four chairs a counter top and a pizza oven. I gave the monotone man inside my card which he slid through a tablet asked for my phone number the set my card down and walked out the back door when he returned I asked if we were done and he stated yes I may go… The Pizza dough was tasteless and the pizza was no better than a frozen pizza. NOT going back.

I’m all about supporting local, and especially neighborhood businesses. After giving this place a couple drive by’s and noting they were closed, we received a mailer last week, and coming off the I-5 off ramp I noticed an «open» sign lit up. We decided to give them another shot. We ordered an XL(18″) PK Special(aka Combo) over the phone. When I arrived, I could see my pizza in their oven. There were about two tables, and a large counter to sit at if you were to eat there. Most of the square footage belongs to the kitchen and pizza prep area. It was ready when they said it would be(~20−25 min) and the woman who prepped the pizzas was very friendly. The pizza was larger than expected. It tasted better than Domino’s or Little Caesars, but not to the par of Round Table, Mountain Mike’s, or Pete’s. The price was right for what you get. A $ 28 pie at Pete’s or Round Table vs. $ 5 – 10 pie at Domino’s or Little Caesars vs. $ 20 I spent here. I’d return to try different items on their menu. There are 10 other specialty pizzas, calzone, three types of salads, three types of chicken wings, and garlic bread. They may deliver. The menu says they sell pizza by the slice, but I didn’t see any out in front under warming lamps. Maybe that’s more for the lunch crowd. We’ll be back for sure.

I enjoyed their pizza! So this is a small, locally-owned pizza spot hidden in the back corner of a shopping center. It is quite small and cozy inside, with only a few decorations on the walls — but that is just fine, and the pizza oven is the only decoration needed! And they do indeed have a fancy looking pizza oven. So my first visit to PK Pizza was this last Sunday, when we called in an order at about 5:50pm. I found out LATER from grabbing a menu(I suggest taking a menu home with you, it says they will give you 20% off your order if you show them the menu next time!) that we unfortunately placed our order ten minutes before they were set to close. We felt bad when we realized — sorry owners! — but they were kind enough to still make our pizza and never once complain or bring up the fact that we picked it up after closing time. We ordered a basic pepperoni and black olive pizza, in a XL size. It was delicious! The pizza was well made… The crust was nice, sauce was evenly distributed, there was a healthy helping of cheese, TONS of pepperoni, and just the right amount of olives. You could tell someone took their time with assembling this pizza. I was happy with PK Pizza and I will definitely be back. I like the fact that it is family owned and a local small business. These are fun to support and ESPECIALLY when they are selling a good product. However, I had to take away one star from my rating for committing a cardinal sin… they were out of garlic bread! I mean I can understand since it was the end of the day and all, but I love me some garlic bread. But I will be back, I will be ordering the garlic bread again, and I am prepared to update my review when the time comes.

I’m giving a 3. Because I’m not sure of customer service, or store. My husband brought this pizza home and I thought oh brother a different pizza place. But to my surprise it was one of the best pizzas I’ve ever had. But my question is, is just the meat they use Halal? Or every single ingredient? Someone’s reply is appreciated!

Since ZERO stars isn’t available, I’ll have to go with 1. There’s nothing like placing an order online, receiving a confirmation number and then showing up to pick up your pizza, and having the stoned-out-of-his-mind, smelling of weed employee not have any clue that an order was placed. Then, to be told I’m wrong even after giving him my confirmation order. Go fire another one up because we will definitely never come back here again!

Horrible customer service. Worker was standing outside smoking, he comes in when I came in. I wanted to order 4 pizzas, and he told me couldn’t do it. I asked him why, and he says it would take too long. The worker literally turned away about $ 100 order. I would never come back here.

Came in on a Saturday afternoon around 4pm. There was only one couple and I waiting to place our orders. Food: Ordered a small, 3 topping calzone. Tasted ok. Looked kind of burn, but all the ingredients and the dough tasted fresh. The dough was not too much either, quite light and soft. Though I felt the calzone could have been stuffed more. For its price I do not think it is worth it, but tasted good though. Establishment: The place itself is kind of hidden. It is towards the end of the building. It is also small. There were only 3 tables, so not really meant to be and establishment to sit and eat, but good for carryout. The counter was close the entrance so the actual eating area is small in comparison to the whole restaurant. The area of the restaurant is actually quite spacious, especially the kitchen area. Service and overall: The guy who worked their on that day was pretty chill. My calzone came out in about 10 – 15 minutes. Would not mind coming back to try a pizza.

That… was some good pizza! Place is clean. Totally does not smell like an ash tray like one reviewer said. Omar was really nice. And the pizza was a great price!!! We picked up an extra large 3 topping pizza with pepperoni, bacon, and extra cheese. It was piping hot. We will totally go there again.

Found this place with the help of fellow« Unilocalers». After reading all the reviews decided to give this place a try. Another pizza place option close to home. Place is located in the shopping center on the corner of Elk Grove Boulevard and West Taron Drive. Found in the far corner closer to I-5. Small place very clean and simple inside. Not a lot of decorations. When we entered, it was quite cold inside(was already cold outside). There was a counter and a couple of small tables with some chairs. Not a lot of seating. We could see the large pizza oven. Very simple menu. We ended up ordering an extra large combo pizza to go. We were told it would take about 20 min and they said we could pay for it when it was ready. There were only 2 employees and both very easy going and very nice. Menu was simple and not overwhelming with too many choices. We ended up ordering a combination pizza. When we returned, pizza was ready and piping hot. They had a lot of orders called in. Good to see they were kinda busy. It was amazing the size of the pizza(we ordered an XL) and the price they were charging(cheaper than other places for the size of the pizza). Pizza was pretty good and the kids liked it. We are happy there is another pizza choice in the area and will be going back to try others. Thanks«fellow Unilocalers» for the reviews!

Waste of my money … Chicken wings were soggy ordered a xl meatlover with white garlic sauce… Received pizza with red tomato sauce… Wrong drinks delivered. Told that it is white garlic sauce but on top of red tomato sauce… Really? thats the explanation I get … Called to complain and its the online ordering that is the reason they can’t prepare the order correctly? Fuck this place

This place has been open for about three weeks when I bought pizza AND their«long calzone» which owner, Omar, recommended. I’ve been around since Shakey’s pizza was about the most popular pizza place in Sacramento area. If you want a very delicious and heavy pizza or calzone, this is the place. Seriously. It’s tough to eat even one piece of the medium size«staff calzone» because it is very heavy with 100% mozzarella cheese, absolutely delicious sauce, and your choice filling meats, etc. If you have serious munchies this is the place. The halal bread is excellent crust. Every bite is a big bite. Tasty crust, sauce, meats, and cheese in every bite: big bite. This place is new. It has a top rated oven, ingredients, an excellent pizza chef. That’s it. All you really need for an outstanding product. Congratulations and good luck PK Pizza! My new home for pizza.

The place smelled like an ash tray. I ordered a pepperoni pizza that looked like a plain cheese and it asked for a side of cheese and peppers that they didn’t have so I didn’t want to even ask for a side of ranch. Let alone plates or napkins. :-(

Better than I expected, the pizzas are on the smaller side, but the quality is great! ingredients are high quality, and the cheese is quite delicious and plentiful I hope that this place sticks around for a while, the last pizza place in the same building was quite good, but folded after only a year.
