I just called to see if I had made an appt. because i thought it was this location only to be cut off by who I think was Shirley not sure the name, saying right away you have the wrong place, your number pops up we don’t accept your insurance. Wow, I know it was 5 minutes till closing but what lack of customer service, I wouldn’t come here just for that reason, so many dentists in EG to choose from, atleast try to be nice to maybe gain a customer. I wasn’t even calling about the insurance she was talking about, reguardless if I was in the wrong she was a b… To the dentist who owns the office, please train your staff on customer service or you may loose business.

After being away two or three years, I called Dr. Pon’s office to schedule an appointment and ended up defending myself over an unpaid $ 13 balance. The office receptionist Shirley was rude and unprofessional, telling me that I was«getting an attitude» with her. This was followed up the next day by an after-hours voice message in which she claimed it was the office manager Kathy who had wanted to put me in collections over this $ 13 balance. I notified Dr. Pon of these communications and he apologized and waived the $ 13 balance. I’m very sad to lose my long-time dentist over this, but I was genuinely disturbed and offended by the staff and have no desire to communicate with the receptionist or office manager ever again.

Dr Pon is the best! Great chair side manner. Easy in the mouth. Gentle injections. Very informative and very professional. Easy to talk too. I have had many dentist over the years and Dr Pon is my all time favorite dentist. All of the office staff is professional and well informed.
