Worst service I’ve had in a long time. Waitress had no knowledge of menu. Our food was cold, the butter wouldn’t even melt on pancakes. Noticed she wasn’t helpful to any customers who had questions about food items. She seemed annoyed to be there. Usuall much better service

Absolutely ridiculous. Made a Unilocal just to post this. I showed up last night at midnight to get in my craving of pancakes. As I’m walking towards the diner one employ is leaving and my friend and I ask if they’re still open and she replies that they are. Sure enough I go to the door and it says«Friday and Saturday open till 1AM». Excitedly I pull on the door only to find out it’s locked. I still see a pair of customers inside so I figure it was a mistake and knock on the window only for one the employees to say that they’re closed. Confused I point on the sign and the employee then proceeds to ignore me. So I wait until the customers that are leaving so that I could just ask why they’re closing if it says that they’re open. And get this, the employee says«Sorry man I have to study for midterms so we’re closing early». Excuse me? Why is it that you have a job? To work hours that are convenient for you? I have had to work during midterms and finals, what makes you so special? If you have to study, request a day off, don’t make the business suffer. Absolutely ridiculous, took my business to Denny’s.

We have had issues with ihop messing up our to go orders before. But nothing tops our last experience. We will NEVER eat here again! For starters I made the order over the phone with Maria. I asked that she repeat it back to me as they are known for messing up orders. I ordered the eggs Benedict and strawberry banana Danish crepes. When my husband got there to pick up our order Maria realized she had charged the people before us for our order and charged us there total which was about 15 more than ours. A manager had to come fix this. When my husband got to the house with our food I noticed that my eggs Benedict was way over cook. It might has well been served as hard boiled eggs. And my crepes had no whip cream. I called and asked for a manager and Maria stated that she stepped out to the bank. So my husband went back to have them remake my eggs Benedict and to pick up the whip cream. When he got there he asked for a side of hollandaise sauce. Maria said they would have to charge for that. Really after all that you have screwed up. Needless to say Maria went to talk to a manager and what do you know there was a manager present who said to give us the sauce. My husband came home for the second time. I ate my eggs Benedict that was correct this time. But as I went to cut into my crepes I came to realize that they were not stuffed with strawberries or the cream cheese filling that it says right on the menu. They were hollow with bananas on top. Great, so I call back and ask for the manager because by this time I’m obviously irritated to say the least. And I’ll have you know that once again Maria answers the phone and tells me there is no manager that she has stepped out. Really?!? This place is ridiculous and if I could give it a –5 star rating I totally would. I’m currently headed up there to politely throw my food in Maria’s face!!! Ridiculous and I never write bad reviews. Only good ones… but this time I’m so irritated that I guess I feel like I don’t have a choice.

As we were sat, our table wasn’t up to par and the worker cleaning the table had said«It looked clean from afar» and she then proceeded to clean our table with a very dirty rag that seemed to be not washed thoroughly and was also used to wipe down seats and booths as well as high chairs. After that incident, we noticed that the rag used made our table smell like mildew. We then prompted to have our table cleaned again, this time by a different worker. Our server then greeted us and took our orders. Our food took a long while to arrive. Guests who came in after us got their food before us and at that point we questioned as to why we haven’t gotten our food. Shortly after, our server came and told us that our food is almost done and on the way, but it appears as if they had just started making it. As we got out food, my omelette along with my friend’s did not meet the standard as described on the menu. The cheese was not melted as described and seemed like it was just sprinkled on top. 5 minutes after getting our food our server asked us if we needed boxes implying that we were almost done but we were just getting started. Also as we ran out of water and asked for more, our server had taken our cups and had brought them back with water on the straws and we had noticed her hands(dripping with water) were touching the rim of the cup as she came back. Overall our experience was terrible and I don’t think we’ll come back here again.

I will never eat at this IHOP again. We dined there on a Wednesday night for the bogo senior special. It was only AFTER we finished eating a mediocre meal we were told IHOP changed the rules on their seniors eat free special and it was only offered for about an hour. I just called the IHOP on Bradshaw to confirm the hours they offered this deal. They honor it from 4:00pm until closing on Wednesday nights. I like their cook better as well. So don’t waste your time on this location and their snarky waiters

Okay, so when you go to iHop for breakfast, you don’t expect amazing breakfast. At best, you’re going for semi-cheap TV dinner quality breakfast. For what it is a 3 star review is what you’d expect to give it, but the last time I went here it was below average. Ordered the country fried steak and it was waaay over fried, the edges were hard as bricks. The bacon was limp and the french toast was soggy and waaay too sweet. They DID honor an Entertainment Book coupon, but I wouldn’t go here again without such a discount. $ 30 + for 2 people is ridiculous(with my coupon it came to $ 20). I can also say the hash browns and pancakes were decent(but it’s hard to mess up hash browns). Service was good, friendly.

I’m not sure why I continue to come here. The food always comes out cold, the tables are always dirty and the service, well they try.

Came in by myself for IHOP’s birthday for 57 cent short stack pancakes. Restaurant was at full capacity(sign said it can hold 216) but I think the restaurant did a good job trying to keep the flow going. My wait time was about 30 minutes which is not bad considering the deal that was going on. I think what would have been nice if this restaurant had counter seating so single party can get in quicker or if groups would not mind seating separately and not in a booth or group table. Considering the deal for the day service was still good. My waiter gave me sufficient time to look at the menu and checked up on me from time to time. I think in general the staff handled the crowd pretty well. Of course the crowd coming on that day can get a little bit impatient but they still handled it pretty well so I am understanding about it. Food was good. Pancakes were warm, soft, and fluffy. I think it was definitely worth the deal because of cost-savings. Just expect the crowd not to be so great. Would not mind coming back, for sure I would expect it to be less busy and the crowd being better.

So came in on a Wednesday night and didn’t even get notice for about 50 mins. One guy working and doesn’t seem like he even cares. Pass us by a bunch of times and didn’t even say a word… Wtf kind of establishment does this kind of thing? Came in on May 27th2015 at 10 and left at 10:50 because apparently the guy working didn’t want us as customers. Whoever that guy is should be fired and if it’s not his fault because of poor staffing then management needs to be fired. I mean seriously what kind of restaurant does this? I know it’s a chain and all but usually I prefer IHOP over other places like Denny’s but this experience left a very bad taste in my mouth and the funny thing is I didn’t even get to eat. Wow. Just wow.

I came here last night with the family because kids eat free on weeknights between 4 – 8. The place was pretty empty but that was great for us because we had our server all to ourselves. She was nice and prompt. The food was good. I had a make your own omelet with ham and onions and a whole stack of pancakes to myself. Even though I felt like a fat elephant it was exactly what I wanted. Sugary fluffy carbs topped with your choice of sugary syrup, DELICIOUS! The waitress was nice enough to change our kids order when they«wanted a cheeseburger not a grilled cheese» Overall good food and service, i would give it 5 stars but let’s be honest it’s just IHOP

I enjoyed me experience here. I came when they had the free pancakes and they were cold. I guess it’s what you expect when it’s free cause everyone is there to get free pancakes. My food was great i didn’t have any complaints. I really like how they give that little coffee thermal for your table when you ask for coffee. I think that’s great! They were busy of course when I came and they seemed to handle it well the place was clean. Although my server could’ve been a lot better. She didn’t really have good customer service didn’t seem like she wanted to be there. I would come back.

Where do I start? Came in on a Saturday. …it was packed. We arrived at 12:25pm. Went up to cashier to give our name n waited for 5 minutes when I realized I had to go to hostess to give my name. thanks for nothing cashier! We waited about 10 minutes for our seats. Waitress seemed stand offish. She began to ask us our drink order but then cut us off bc the table next to us needed addition assistance. She made it clear she would take our drink order 1st then will come back to take our meal order. When finally placed our order? instead of putting it in immediately she stops to talk to a couple at another table for another 5 minutes as we watched. Food arrives at 1:08pm. Had the Eggs Benedict… way too much lemon! It comes with 2 good size eggs Benedict one was enough… turned off by the sour taste n i was starving. Another table aren’t food back bc her meal was undercooked. The entry floors were sticky and the glass in the entry wasn’t clean either. Couldn’t understand why since there was a 2nd person just standing behind the cashier just watching. Can’t say we will be back anytime soon.

I should’ve stuck with their pancakes or waffles. Better yet, I should’ve gotten that Bananas Foster Brioche French Toast. Now I’m craving it. Instead, because I wanted to try something new(forgot I was in IHOP for a second), I ordered the Chicken Florentine Crepes(2 crepes filled with grilled chicken breast, fresh spinach, mushrooms, onions & Swiss cheese, topped with hollandaise) — $ 9.99 These Crepas de Pollo a la Florentina(870 calories, but who’s counting) were unfortunately only good from afar, but far from good. It was flat and tasted. wet, for lack of a better word. Crêpe was definitely present, however, the fillings that it promised on the menu didn’t quite come with. But hey, 2 stars doesn’t necessarily mean it was absolutely horrible; apparently, it’s merely«Meh, I’ve experienced better.» That, I could immediately agree. I’m still coming back for that French Toast though.

Happy Veterans Day! IHop is offering free pancakes to vets today. The IHop in Elk Grove is not offering the full meal. The are offering 3 buttermilk pancakes with whip cream, strawberries and blueberries. This location opens at 6am and there is no line at all. Did not try the coffee. Water is nice and cold. The restaurant is in fair condition. to be one of the first customers there was still a lot of debris on the floor and the table top had syrup on it. Panc

IHOP is one of those generic places that you go to for breakfast… There’s a hundred other wonderful breakfast/brunch spots in Sacramento(you have to dig deep!) but for some reason I was in the mood for some good ol’ fashioned pancakes from IHOP, so I dragged my friend along this morning. I don’t necessarily expect the happiest people to be working here… I don’t remember ever getting exceptional service at a place like IHOP, especially from those who work the register or host stand. Our server today was an older lady, took our orders and brought us food on time and basically did her job, so I can’t complain! As usual, I couldn’t decide on what to order from their extensive menu. I went with the pancake combo so I could have a little of everything. Sunny side eggs, bacon, hash browns, and a double stack of pancakes of my choice… today I chose the pumpkin! I would usually get the chocolate chip or the strawberry banana but the pumpkin ones seemed to jump off the page today, plus I assume it’s a seasonal item. And they did not disappoint! The aroma itself smelled so warming and welcoming like a warm fall day… you get the point. I couldn’t stop eating it! IHOP won’t be my top choice for brunch, but it’s not necessarily a terrible choice either. Those pumpkin pancakes might just bring me back sooner than I anticipated.

Ihop = International House Of Poop. Pros: — Extensive menu with breakfast being served all day erry day. — Spacious interior. — They give free pancakes on National Pancake day. — Semi — clean interior. — Food stays consistent, regardless of location. — Ample amount of parking. Cons: — Workers are truly bored with themselves there. Like they wish they were dealing with jury duty instead of working there. — Food portions can be smaller for the price you pay — Pricing can be a bit higher than Dennys. — Slow service even though the place can be empty as hell. I always go for their pancakes here. But it can get super dry so be warned. I’ve also had their brioche french toast, it was too sweet for my liking. Their coffee seems pretty good though? I’d hop to IHOP if I were really dying of starvation and have nothing else to eat ever of evers. Otherwise, I’d rather naaaaat.
