Elk Grove Food Bank

Knowing that you’re donating to a good cause is such a good feeling :) donated food for the first time today and the lady that worked there was super nice and helpful. I’m going to be doing this on a regular basis.

Finally got rid of some unopened boxes of pasta as I’m always trying to watch my weight! My HB used to go crazy at the 99 cent store so I kept nagging him we need to donate them as we were down to no spare space as they are feverishly working on renos in our home. It’s really a challenge to live in our home amongst the dust dirt and noise but these guys are so very pleasant but yet the best in their business.
It wasn’t too hard to find this food closet bc we had taken our vehicles for servicing on Dino drive many times in the past. They are located in the back and doing a great service that is most appreciated. If you have food items to donate don’t hesitate. I’ve checked online their hours;they were opened like 9 – 2 M-​F. Check their website as it’s quite informative in case you are willing to donate or if you need their services. You never know what end of the spectrum you may be especially bc life can be so unpredictable!

The new address is 9820 Dino Drive #140. They are now located in the back of a warehouse district. Donations can be dropped off Monday through Friday from 9:00AM to 1:30PM. You can even donate pet food. They are a wonderful organization helping people in need.
