Out in Oklahoma visiting family and we stopped in for breakfast after a quick local search. Shannon was immediately friendly and personable and a terrific server for our entire meal. Friendly and attentive. Thanx Shannon! I ordered sausage and eggs with hash browns and a single waffle and it was fantastic. The hash browns were cooked to perfection. THIS is how hash browns should be cooked(crispy yet moist). The waffle was flavor full and cooked perfectly. Breakfast doesn’t get much better than this. Thanx Cowboy Café!

We were passing through on i40 and had no idea where to have lunch. We read the Unilocal review and decided to give it a try. We both had cheeseburgers and they were the old fashioned type. Excellent! Nothing fancy but we really enjoyed the food.

The chicken fried steak was huge and delicious and the green beans well seasoned(a rather small portion but it didn’t really matter because of the size of the steak. Mashed taters and gravy also very good. The atmosphere is small town Oklahoma and friendly. Glad we stopped and would definitely do so again.

Best breakfast I’ve had being on the road and my opinion this café breakfast is better than Cracker Barrel. Good food good service!

We both had the Chicken Fried Steak. It was good but not great. Excellent green beans and potatoes and gravy. The«More Information» in Unilocal is not correct: there is no bar, and the waitress told us there hasn’t been one for a long time.(Perhaps to be expected for Oklahoma?) We went back for breakfast too. Because it was easy. Not because it was special. Right next to the on ramp.

I was just reminiscing about my first road trip(cross country from California to New Orleans) in 1997 when I was 17. My favorite food experience was at the cowboy café. Imagine my delight to find it on Unilocal! The food is amazing. Homemade chicken fried steak and a great salad bar. I’m so glad to see so many lovey reviews! Keep on keepin on Cowboy Café!

Homemade chicken fried steak! Outside of restaurant looks a little scary, but have no fear! Great food!

This place was amazing! The food was great and the service was great. Our waitress was extremely nice and made sure we had everything we need all the time. Our food came fast, was hot, and exactly how we ordered. Quick tip: it’s small and you seat yourself.

Its not to bad . I like that they have shredded lettuce at the bar. Hamburgers are good. I didn’t give 5 stars because I was here one day when one of the waitresses should have stayed home. She was coughing bad, wiping her nose with NO cleanex or washing her hand afterwords at all, she just kept carrying the food to people. I’m glad she didn’t wait on us. And there was a dead bug that was under a table one afternoon, we went back that night, the same bug was still there. One more thing, Its supose to b a smoke free place, well I smelled ciggerett smoke from the back I’m not a smoker so therefore, I know the smell.

Great breakfast, good coffee, nice staff. Small local place. No handicap restrooms if you need that, but a very good meal.

We stopped here on our way from Amarillo to Oklahoma City. This was a small café/diner adjacent to The Ramada Inn. Very hometown, the two waitresses were very friendly and even gave us complimentary French toast strips! We both ordered basic eggs, hash browns and bacon. Food was good, just like home. Service was good. Would definitely return.

This is one of those places that I call local. If we were in the upper peninsula of Michigan, every male in the place would be wearing a plaid flannel shirt. You can tell who the regulars are. The grub is plain, well-prepared and filling. A good breakfast place. There is a friendly waitress named Jo who shows her age and knows her stuff. Accents are a soft twang, all the faces show the influence of time, sun, weather and hard work.
