Don’t waste your money here! $ 20 to get in on a Friday and then each drink was $ 10+ for mostly soda. Far from worth it

Drink prices are reasonable, nice atmosphere, music is good would try this place again but I’m am not sold on it yet. The night I went was pretty quiet but I had a good time overall.

**ATTENTION:**
If I were you, I would seriously read this entire review before considering Club Sho. I don’t want anyone else to have the experience I had.
This is going to come as a 2-​for-​1 special.
The first half of the review goes to the promoter/​guy/​whatever the fuck he is on all the flyers with the 908 area code number. HE IS TRASH. Both my boyfriend and I were trying to contact this guy to request a table in VIP and bottle service for his birthday. He called first. The guy that answered BARELY even seemed like he wanted to be bothered. That’s cool, except, oh wait, THIS IS YOUR JOB. My bf inquired about it and the guy put him on hold, came back, and told him he would call him back (he never called him back.)
I tried to call the guy a couple of hours later to set up the party and again, his responses were lackluster and seemed pretty disinterested. I was persistent and extra polite and it seemed to work. I was able to get some info out of this guy. We were planning for 5 people. He said that the party package included 2 premium bottles, champagne, and a cake for $ 400. Not bad. Then said if we wanted hookah, it was $ 450. WHO THE FUCK PAYS $ 50 FOR A HOOKAH? FOH
I asked how we could set up this reservation and he tells me that we could pay over the phone with a credit card or come early on the day of the party to pay. (I never heard of any place that you had to pay the full balance up front.) He was nowhere near to be trusted. He’s super shady. I was not beat for giving this fool any of my credit card info over any phone so I opted to pay with the cash the day of.
The day came, and my bf called the guy again to let him know we were coming. He says he wont be at the office til 5−6pm, we’re like, «cool.»
We get to the spot at about 5:15pm and give him a call.
«Oh the office is on _​_​_​_​_​_​Street, above _​_​_​_​_​_​_​.» WHY THE FUCK DIDNT HE JUST TELL US BEFORE THAT IT WASNT IN THE SAME LOCATION AS THE CLUB? Wasted our time and gas just getting up there. We were both pissed so we just went home. We never stopped looking for another club, in case Sho didn’t happen.
Fast forward —
DJ Wallah, DJ Camilo were spinning that night at Club Sho, which is why we really wanted that spot. My bf contacted Wallah on Instagram about it. Was a damn good thing he did because Wallah recognized him because he had previously done flyer work for him.
THANK GOD. Wallah had one of his promoters contact my bf and in no time, we had the guestlist, bottles, and everything set up so quickly. I only wish I had known his name.
We arrived at Sho and Wallah’s promoter was there to greet us, talked to a few people at the club, and we were in, VIP wristbanded, bottles were brought, and we had an amazing time. Of course, Wallah and Camilo shook the club. Cardi B. was even hosting.
We had an amazing time at Club Sho. The venue was nice, the drinks were great, and the music was great.
I only wish I got the name of the original guy we spoke to, just so I could curse his ass out. He never once gave us his name the 4 times we spoke to him. He sucks big time at his job and needs to be fired immediately.

Great music (tri state radio station djs), great drinks (and reasonably priced), fun atmosphere (who doesn’t like confetti, cooling smokey mist, and huge beach balls?) and always a good time till it gets too crowded! Never have a problem here!

WOW talk about hood… Guys walking in with hoodies and sweat pants, getting patted down at the door– yes girls too– purses getting checked– couldnt even take my cigs and lighter inside. um ok… $ 25 to get in after 1030PM even if you are on a list. totally not worth it. Drinks were decent too expensive for this place tho– $ 10– ill pay that in NYC but not in Elizabeth thanks! Music was good but at the end of the night it turned into rowdy gangser rap which set off a fight as the club was closing and people were getting pepper sprayed– yup– never experienced that before ever and I have seen plenty of fights while out at bars/​clubs.

Came here to celebrate a coworkers birthday. Considering we did not have to wait on line, we had VIP area, bottle service, hookah, paid a cover of twenty bucks. (Bottles and hookah were gifted price unknown) we had a great time. There were shot girls all night. The venue is very nice and the music was hip hop. The place is two floors I did not go upstairs seems it was just booths. If I go back I would request my section be on the bottom floor again as that was the largest space, the bars, all the action and the bathroom. The place filled up very quickly. There was a parking lot in the same street for ten bucks. I would for surely go back.

Don’t waste your time if you’re going after 11! I’m standing in line now. Got here 11:30 & they held the line until after 12am. Not only is it 26°, but now admission is $ 25 instead of $ 10. Was all too ready to ditch the place & find an IHOP to go to. If it wasn’t my friend’s birthday, definitely would have left.

I’ve been to Sho 3 times already. The first two times we reserved VIP. The service was great. The music (on both nights) was good. They played Spanish music which eventually (around 1AM) turned into techno. I can’t stand techno. Last night we did not get VIP. The drinks were good but there were only 2 bartenders so service was slow. The music, however, was awesome last night. I never take notice of DJ’s (in general) but the music and flow was so great I had to look him up. DJ Alpha Mix was the DJ that night and definitely worth seeing again. I would recommend this venue and go there again.

Went to this place on last night which was a Saturday. I sent a text to a number and was on the guest list which was free till 11, but I was late but it was only $ 10 for ladies $ 20 for guys. My friends and I got bottle service which was fairly priced considering everything is overpriced lol, the bottle girl got the order wrong and brought out coffee flavored patron which was wrong and more expensive. We were initially told we would have to pay for the bottle bc some had been drank, but after asking for the manager and explaining that all of the glasses were full and once it was tasted and discovered it was the wrong drink no one drank it they gave us what we originally ordered. The pineapple and cranberry juice were super watered down, but what can u expect. The music was fantastic, a good mix of mostly hip hop and Latin with some house. The décor was very pretty. The crowd was mostly Latin with a mix of other things sprinkled around. The bouncer were super friendly and help full. When I first got there the coat check was full, wtf when does that happen, b4 I became pissed the bouncer big Tim found space for me. I know ur probably thinking he was trying to hit on me, but he didn’t, he was just being super helpful and it just continued with all the other bouncers. I absolutely hate dick head bouncer. It started off a little rough but my over all experience was fun!
Just a side note, come earlier bc partings horrible, best bet is BOA parking lot across the street. And be cautious bc the police are out in full force during and after the club.
Ill def be back again!

This place isn’t that bad! I Went there with 9 girls and we enjoyed ourselves! Their music is most DEFF poppin would go again only if yu go with friends. Not a place to go alone.
