Dr. Atkins and the team are kind and reasonable. My furry son, Zabuza, had gotten attacked in the forest. My husband found him and we rushed him to Dusty Plains, luckily the closest vet. Zabu was bleeding out and the nurses there immediately took him into the surgery room and cared for him. Basically, the people here at Dusty Plains went out of their way to help and really do care for the family pets that come in. They are very friendly, personable, and professional. Dr. Atkins reviewed each and every charge with us so that we knew exactly what we were paying for. Lastly, they’re very reasonable with pricing. I definitely recommend taking your furry family here.

We are very impressed with Dusty Plains. We took one of our dogs here for cherry eye surgery and the other for a lump. Both times our dogs received wonderful care. After our dog had her surgery, she didn’t handle being in her kennel well apparently. When we came to pick her up, she was cuddled up in the lap of the gal behind the desk and had been there for quite awhile. They truly do seem to care about your pets. The doctor is thorough and kind. They are also very reasonably priced. It is a bit of a drive for us but it’s worth it.

I’m from a small town and now live in the city and I hate city vets. I drive an hour just to take my dog to Dusty Plains. They take great care of your pet, the staff are friendly and they don’t over charge for unnecessary procedures! You will save tons of money even for vaccinations by taking your pet here.

Dr Atkins and staff are some of the best around when it comes to care for your pet. Dr Atkins goes above and beyond when it comes to you and your pet. He makes you feel as though he loves your pet as much as you do and does everything he can to make it right when they are ill. He has the biggest heart and if you are faced with the hard decision of putting a pet down, he will be honest and up front of what is in the best interest of your pet. Vet care does not get any better than Dusty Plains.
