These people need a major lesson on how to make coffee. We ordered an Americano, a mocha latte, and a pumpkin spice latte. Firstly, the lady(I won’t call her a barista) asked me what kind of milk in the Americano… Then when we got it, it was so watered down it wasn’t drinkable. The lattes had so much syrup in them, especially the pumpkin, that they made us nauseous. Unfortunately we were on the road when we tasted them, and couldn’t go back to show the lady how to make them. They were plain disgusting. I’ve been here several times before, usually getting a mocha latte, and they’re always inconsistent, and the majority of the people who work here are teenagers who have no idea what they’re doing, and know nothing about coffee. Such a disappointment, but it’s obvious why the little Starbucks in Safeway is always so busy.

Great coffee shop! Very friendly service! Next to post office. The espresso is much better than chain coffee shops. Love the lattes and sweet breads! Thank you!

I am a tea drinker so I have not had their coffee. This spot has been a coffee shop for a while. Business names and ownership has been different over the years. All very normal for Elizabeth as business’ struggle due to low population size and high rent fees. Stop in and have a cup. The place is comfortable and will serve you well.

I understand the name. It perfectly describes how we felt upon leaving. This was horrible coffee and even the hot chocolate for the kids was hot milk with the most faint of taste of chocolate. Needless to say, we will never go back.

Best Latté I’ve had in a long time. Large, quiet space to read or converse with others.

I’ve only had regular coffee here and only a couple of times. The first time I asked a lot of questions. The coffee is organic/fair trade and good. I can drink it without any half and half. Most local coffee is not very tasty. The staff is really nice. PS I am guessing that they would take advice on lattes or espresso to heart so go ahead and say something and we’ll get a place that is good for those, too.

I’ll be harsh here… the expresso was not very good… even if it was served in the proper manner. I have friends who stop by quite often and they like the place. It is nice and clean inside and the leather seats are comfortable, but the coffee did not satisfy. I am sure I go back again and hopefully the coffee will be better.

I get coffee here every couple weeks. It is right next to the post office, so it is very convenient. I get a kick out of being called«young feller» pretty much every time I walk through the door. This is not my favorite latte in the Denver area, but given the limited choices for 15 miles in any direction, it is pretty darn good. Prices are typical, and the staff are very friendly. The also sell sandwiches, salads and baked goods from Udi’s Bakery. In addition, they have Bluepoint Bakery muffins, sticky buns, cookies, and raised bread cinnamon rolls. Furthermore, they also carry local foods and treats, with Mame’s Breakfast Burritos, and Rose’s Creamery’s Ice Cream. But, I mostly come for the coffee. This really is a social hub for Elizabeth. You will run into locals of all ages, some families, and even random bikers who have dropped in for a drink. They do live music on certain days, and are open late on others. They are closed on Sundays.
