Our first winery visited during a tour of the area. Very small, and still developing an outside seating area. The wines were very good, and the person running the tasting was outstanding! They even gave us little desserts in honor of Mother’s day!

I had a really nice time when I visited about a week ago. Not sure how I feel about the reds. Tried a few Cabernet Sauvignon and not sure how I felt about them. The white wines are really good. Either way, give it a shot!

This is one of our favorite wineries in Sonoita-Elgin. We have wine tasted here and once per month they have a wine dinner. The wine dinner is hosted by the owner, one of which is an accomplished chef. Wines are very good and change on occasions. The wine dinner is phenomenal and usually hosted outside with weather permitting. Friendly place and great place to stop in. Hint — bring your own glass and tastings are only like $ 5.00 per person.

Do you like red wine? I mean, really like red wine? I mean, to the point that you see each bottle in the way that a real lover of women does, where each in his memory remains beautiful in her own way? Or are you thinking that red wine is kinda«Blegghhh. .. well, ok. .. if that’s all you have. No beer? Well. Ok.» If you’re in the first group, you probably won’t enjoy most of what’s offered for tasting here. A lot of the offerings from the three vineyards represented are described as «red wines for people who don’t like red wines». One of them tasted like Jolly Ranchers melted down in some sort of digestif. We made it through the tasting list. Lots of people seem to like it. We saw several groups hoisting cases of the stuff out to their SUV’s while we enjoyed a picnic under the pleasant gazebo.

Tasting here is fun and the wines are reasonable-had a great time at their Blessing of the Vines Festival. They have a nice selection of wines and at times have small events and live music. Enjoy!

We discovered this place on a road trip to Arizona’s Wine Country. We have a family tradition of sharing local wines at Christmas in our family so we stopped in for a tasting. I was pleasantly surprised. I’m not a wine connoisseur but I do enjoy a good glass of wine from time to time. Primarily, I drink Port and Madeira. During the tasting we identified a few wines we particularly enjoyed. The Andrew, which is a white port was very good. I particularly enjoyed the Tombstone Rain which reminded me a great deal of some of my favorite Rainwater Madeiras. The Tombstone Red was a nicely balanced table wine. The folks at the winery were quite friendly and helpful and we had a great time trying the wines and chatting with the owners. We were also pleased to find that a local store here in Tucson carries some of their varieties so we don’t have go all the way back to Elgin when we need to restock!
