This store was horrible. I went in there because I was having trouble with my phone. After waiting 10 minutes for a sales person to acknowledge me, even though it was the middle of the day on Monday, the salesmen that was helping me just took the battery out and then told me that I would need a new phone. I pay for insurance on my phone but he explained that it wouldn’t help and I just needed a new phone. I didn’t have the money to commit that day since I thought I would be able to get my phone fixed so I walked out, even though they were offering me all kinds of great deals on new phones. A couple days later without a working phone, I was in Columbia and stopped into their Verizon store while running errands to check out deals on phones. Their sales people immediately acknowledged me, knew what was wrong with my phone and, as it turned out, was just a glitch from a recent upgrade that took 5 seconds to fix. I didn’t need a new phone at all. He also showed me how to fix it should it happen again and couldn’t believe that anybody from another Verizon store wouldn’t know what to do with that situation.
Another time I went into the same Eldersburg store and there were three salesmen behind the counter in the back talking and joking with each other. I walked around and looked at phones for over 5 minutes waiting for one of them to come help me and none of them ever acknowledged my presence. I ended up walking out without ever getting help.
A friend of mine went in to pay a bill and the salesmen made fun of her for asking if she could pay her bill in cash. She felt so stupid she almost left without paying her bill. My ex-​boyfriend also had a similar experience and, when he asked to speak to the manager, left more upset than he was originally.
This store is not knowledgeable about their products and they have absolutely no customer service. I recommend the Columbia store or just about any other Verizon store. They may be busier but there is a reason for that and you won’t be sorry that you waited the couple extra minutes.

Terrible service just like most wireless stores. One employee offers an upgrade, the next tells you to pound sand and there is nothing they can do to help. Would not recommend to anyone. If you have Verizon and you want a location that helps you out and is concerned about their service, go to the Glen Burnie location.
