Staff is really nice, but portions seem smaller than other flame boiler locations. Lots of seating and no issues with parking. Overall food was good, customer service was good, order came out fast, but a little disappointed with portion size.

This place has a B grade they should have a D… for dumbass How hard is it to put meat rice and veggies in a bowl… this is by far the worst flame broiler ever. Can’t even get your order right. And the tables are sticky… all of them. What have you been doing all day it’s Hella slow in here. Smh

This is a pretty solid place to eat. I work down the street and have eaten here a few times. Last time, it was pretty good. I had the chicken & veggie bowl. I am a little bit suspicious about the«magic sauce.» It sounds like it be really good or bad LOL. So I stray away. I must admit, last time I ate here I found what appear to be a small piece of foil in my bowl. I was too hungry to even care. I moved it aside and continued eating… shameful I know. ;)

The only reason why I’m leaving a review is because I asked the young man for his name. Kevin hill. He was so sweet and genuine and gave me his best customer service. The manager looks like a deush but the only reason why I will come back on some of my lunch brakes is because of his service! Thumbs up Kevin!

Their angus plate had mandarin ribs, rice, cabbage salad, and a sliced orange. Nothing left, and I wished I had ordered more. Really good.

Oh my goodness, this was by far the grossest Flame Broiler chicken veggie bowl I have ever had.(Veggies included 3 pieces of carrots and AN piece of cabbage) My bowl had 2 rock hard pieces of burnt chicken that nearly broke my tooth… I’m not exaggerating they weren’t just burnt, they were rock. hard. This has never happened to me in any other of their locations.

I’ve been to a couple of Flame Broilers in the El Segundo area now where it seems like they just hire a two guys to man the store– no manager, owner, or person who actually cares about the business. Do these Flame Broiler owners not care about how their stores are being run? Seems that way. On two separate occasions, I arrived about 35 minutes prior to closing, and the guy at the register(two different guys each time, so it’s not an employee-specific problem) seemed reluctant to even take my order. When i asked, «are you still open?», he looked around and said…“umm…yeah.” The reason i asked is because all the chairs were stacked on the tables – these guys looked ready to leave. I ordered a chicken bowl with white meat, and they informed me that I couldn’t get white meat because they had already«shut down the grill.» hmm… alright. Why? There’s still more than 30 minutes til closing! Flamer Broiler has really gone down in the past year, and it’s clear why. The owners and corporate don’t care. Service is almost always terrible and unprofessional(can they hire people who are any less motivated?), and there are always a lot of charred black specks on the chicken(they’re not cleaning the grill properly). I used to really like Flame Broiler because it’s a healthier option than most fast food, but I probably won’t be returning for awhile.

Great concept to fast healthy food. Mexicans cooking in the back. Food is great. Very affordable.

i ordered the beef and chicken plate and noticed that the orange had mold inside of it. i brought it back to the apathetic guys that work the counter there and the response was«oh. ok.» great service. not sure how these people are still in business. no wonder there’s never a line there.

I go to a lot of Flame Broilers around the area and this is BYFAR the worst one. You’re greeted by apathetic workers that can barely be bothered to get off their iPhones to take your order. They ask you«for here or to go,» but it doesn’t matter because they’re not listening and its a crap shoot how it comes out. Usually to go. The sauces which make this place are usually clogged or empty and the workers again can barely be bothered to stop looking at youtube to replenish the sauce. They charge $ 1.50 extra for white meat chicken but I’d say its an even 50⁄50 if you actually get white meat. Every single time I ask for extra green onions and to this day I’ve never received them. The only thing good about this place is its location for me, but honestly I’m done going here. The location over on Marine & Inglewood actually puts effort into their customer experience and tries to retain your business. Either the owner of this location has never seen the operation or simply doesn’t care because any self respecting business person would be appalled and clean house on the spot.

Although Flame Broiler can be found anywhere these days, I never tried it until I started working in El Segundo last year. It’s just chicken bowl and I wasn’t too excited about it when I tried it, but it’s really not that bad~! I actually crave it during lunch and it is conveniently located in my work building and I get my Chicken Bowl at least once every week lol. The trimana next door takes FOREVER to get food, but the Flame Broiler is quick and cheap, it’s my number one choice when it comes to «quick lunch». They have smaller portion for small eaters… but I think the regular portion is too small for me… I always get extra meat lol.

During the old work day I rarely get the chance to explore and check out the local tasty food. Growing up in Torrance, you would think I might have spent some time in El Segundo, but as I repeat everyday on my «commute» to work, it’s so close and yet so far. Anyway, there are a ton of delicious sounding places on my list, and as the old work schedule permits, hopefully I will get out there and go get ‘em, but it’s definitely going to take a while, which brings me to Flame Broiler. This is not a special El Segundo-only food, I get that. I think there’s even one close to my house, but it has just never caught my nose so I’ve yet to try it. This guy, my El Segundo Flame Broiler, is literally a hop and a skip(no jumps needed) across from my office, so when I had 15 minutes left of a neglected lunch break, I ran by with the expectations of «better than the cup of noodles in my desk.» Hellllloooo, way better than the cup of noodles, and I love me a good sodium-filled cup of noodles. I got the beef and veggie, subbed brown rice, and added green onions. Dude. It was delicious and only $ 6. How have a missed this little fast food gem? They even have mini bowls. I can’t tell you how often I get the kids meal secretly wishing for a smaller adult option. Thank you Flame Broiler. Real talk. This business is totally tasty.

The Flame Broiler, at least this location, is not unlike Communism: it looks great on paper and in theory, but just doesn’t quite work out in real life. Essentially, the food is bland, the meat is questionable(to the point I was actually wondering if they accidently got a shipment that was bound for the Purina factory down the road), and the only way to make the whole mess palatable, is to drown it in «magic sauce» and/or soy sauce. Best to avoid. You aren’t that hungry.

Beware. Their cash register seems to consistently overcharge. I attempted to order a chicken bowl with extra chicken. According to the menu that is $ 8.50. They rang me up at $ 9.84 before tax. It happens again and again, no matter what your options. I called them out on it and eventually got my money and walked out. Between this, very lazy employees, a dirty store and bland food I won’t be back. Sucks because it I work in the building and that is one food option that is off the table.

I ordered the chicken and veggie bowl to-go, with brown rice. The food here seems healthy, which is what I was after. The chicken was dry, but that’s what the elimination of sauce means to stay healthy. They have a clean atmosphere and the parking lot was kinda small. There is a parking structure, which I haven’t gone into, and I think they validate there. I am gonna try the beef bowl or kalbi ribs next time, just to get a variety. Prices are low, so that is a plus.

There’s this stereotype that says there is a negative correlation between the healthiness and tastiness of foods. Most health-oriented food establishments do everything they can to abjure that stereotype. Flame Broiler is the living embodiment of that stereotype. I understand that this is supposed to be healthy food, but the taste is bland. The perfunctory employees seem to be in a constant state of insouciance. Their service is as bland as the food they serve. Your time will be better spent rolling turds in the dirt than visiting this place.

So after about a month of waiting for them to open, i finally got to try them! BOMBDOTCOM I mean, ive heard of this place before, my gf told me it was popular where she used to live, and her co-workers would go bonkers and throw money at her with orders, when theyd hear she was going there. I like the half-half bowl w/onion. Its a bowl packed with rice, topped with beef and chicken. You can go to the back and get their Magic sauce or Chili. I like this magic sauce stuff. i mean, it isnt teriyaki so you cant compare to Yoshinoya, but its similar. i mean, all the sauce is, is Soy Sauce and Sugar. LOL But its good. Also, they have veggies, and brown rice too for those who like that stuff. hehe. But yeah, this is definitely my Friday lunch spot!!!
