Believe it or not, I have never eaten at Jersey Mike’s before. It seems like they have popped up everywhere over the last few years but I never made it around to trying it. I finally had my chance a week ago and am totally a fan. I had the #8 Club Sub without bacon an loved every bite I took! I can’t wait to eat here again. The dilemma is whether I should stick with a sandwich I completely loved or try something else — decisions, decisions…

This specific jersey mikes location is always kind of a hit or miss. But it’s closer than the one on rosecrans so I keep giving it chances. Sometimes the and quiches are perfect other times they’re flavorless and just piled on with lettuce, and the line is always a bit long. The last time we were there around 8 pm they had run out of white bread and cookies.

I visited this Jersey Mike’s location on one occasion and was very satisfied. The service was quick and friendly. The interior of the restaurant is very clean. A bonus is that there is an outside patio area that is shared w/the starbucks next door which allows for outside dining when the weather permits. I had the Mike’s original which was very tasty. Since I work in the area I will definitely be coming back.

This is mostly a review of Jersey Mike’s Subs franchise rather than this specific location but I’ll comment on that as well. I eat here a lot. I eat here so much I could probably work here. In fact, I just finished eating one of their subs. I’ve avoided writing this review because with these chain locations, it’s hard to review one without reviewing the entire franchise at the same time. Jersey Mike’s Subs really knows indulgence. Everything they make is delicious and almost all of it is fattening. It’s well established that you can’t have both healthy and delicious food. If you think you have both, you’re probably fooling yourself. Their cookies are moist, soft, and delicious. Their sandwiches and characteristic«Mike’s Way» style give them a leg up on other franchise shops like Subway. They do it well. When I eat out, I don’t eat healthy, I want delicious and Jersey Mike’s Subs helps me fulfill that goal. As for the specific location: it’s well run. Is it better than other locations? I think it’s up there with the best but they’re largely confined by their franchise rules. The service has always been good except on rare occasions. The location next to a Ralphs and near the airport is convenient. The place is clean. I’ve met the manager. He seems hard working and like he cares about good customer experience. It’s hard to find anything negative to say about this specific location. –1 star for being reasonable but not outstanding value(more of a franchise wide issue than a location issue). However, I could see someone giving it 5 stars. In the end, the fact that I eat here a lot says it all.

This place is up and down. Sometimes their service and sandwiches are spot on. Other times ts not so great. I guess it depends on who is working. I have yet to see two people make a veggie sandwich the same way.

I ordered two lunch sandwich trays with six different types of sandwiches. The sandwiches are cut in half and comes with condiments, vinegar and oil. Jersey Mikes delivered on time to our office for our meeting. We have employees from Montréal, Connecticut and Virginia who all asked for Jersey Mikes over Subway. I am very pleased with my order.

Another Jersey Mike’s stop for my husband. Whenever he’s hungry and i’m not we stop here. I have had their veggie sandwich and it was pretty lame, no flavor whatsoever and since I am not a fan of meat, they don’t have any other options. Service is fine, they get through the lines pretty fast. He had the big kahuna cheese steak as always and loved it. Prices are a bit high, but they often have specials and coupons to save a bit and the giant size really is enough for two people or to save half for later. Not my favorite place, but the man loves it, so we keep coming back.

I’m hooked on Jersey Mike’s and Mike’s Way is the only way to go. Sometimes I get my sandwich and don’t get a chance to eat it until an hour or so later. I swear the longer it sits wrapped up, the better it tastes. It’s like the oils and spices have a chance to soak in(marinade if you will). My sandwich of choice is the ever popular turkey and it never fails to satisfy. Let’s talk logistics for a moment. This location is a bit smaller than typical but it gets the job done. Don’t fret if you see a line because they move through the sandwich building process like a well oiled machine. Meats and cheeses are sliced fresh when you order. Parking is the main challenge here but there are usually spots to be found. No door dings people, please. Don’t want bread? Try a Sub In A Tub. If you aren’t getting your sandwiches to go, there’s some outside seating under a partially shaded patio area.

All Jersey Mike’s locations never fail when it comes to tasty sandwiches and superior customer service but this one really tops them all! The guy who helped me offered me a sample of the new chicken on the menu. What? Free samples? Who knew? That was nice! Not only that, but we had great conversation and he even offered me a Krispy Kreme donut that the staff had. Are we friends now or what?

UPDATE** I’m giving them another star — fastest response from the business & I really do appreciate that they care! I will give it another try and the service was very satisfactory. I’ve been wanting to try this place for the longest time. Heard lots of good and just Ok comments from friends about it. My verdict: It’s alright. I’m on the Ok side. I wasn’t that impressed and although I liked my veggie sandwich(Mike’s specialty) I hate to say that, but that’s just me. Other people love the sh%(out of it. My husband had the pastrami and he said in no way does it beat The Hat and/or the local greasy hamburger stands. Of course it wasn’t meant to beat it, but he was hoping for something to knock his socks off. Again, difference of opinion. Luckily for us, there are plenty of more sandwich places to try out. Bottom line, if you live/work by and and are a sandwich person, particularly deli style– this is your place. I also liked the décor(beach theme — duh), and the service was also good.

I am impressed that they actually slice their meats per order. I haven’t seen a chain sandwich shop do that like ever! Usually, the meats are all pre-cut. Pretty impressed by that. It also does add to the wait time. The lines go pretty slow and a regular 6″ sub will cost you about $ 9.00. I do like their meats selection and their«Mike’s Way» is really tasty. I like the vinegar and spices on the sandwich, makes it more interesting. You can also order online if you don’t want to wait in line.

I’m a pretty loyal customer to say the least to this Franchise. Out of all the Jersey Mikes I’ve visited, El Segundo JM is by far the most decorated/professional /awesome team I’ve come across. WHAT A CREW. Super personable attitudes from this location is one of many reasons why I believe they have dominated their outdated competitors– Subway. Also the reason why me and my expensive friends will continue to make it rain on this restaurant due to the outstanding customer service we receive. First of all! I must point out a few stars at this location that have seriously shined brighter than baby oil on Tyrese’s forehead. Veronica– she might be the next best thing known to me since man invented Hot pockets. Seriously this girl might be able to cure cancer with that smile alone:) awesome attention to detail and she’s fun sized yayy. Phillip– this guy is something else. He takes personality to another level completely. Knows exactly what it means to make any customer laugh and open up. Great dude but even better stories. izzy– haha. The end. This girl’s days is reflected all over her face whenever I walk in. I feel like she might be the happiest person alive and it’s totally awesome because I feel like my order never gets messed up because she loves what she does. Jake– Great persona too, he really makes sure to leave you with a comforting feeling about your day. Not sandwich related at all but I feel like somehow I enjoy my meal better after a comforting talk about my nutritional value I might be eating. Thanks man lol Store is also very clean, neat and tidy. Love how accommodating they are whenever I’m running late close to closing time. Thanks for awesome customer service ! 5 stars but they deserve 6.

I did have my reservations about Jersey Mike’s prior to 30 minutes ago. Pretty much I’ve seen them more than I heard about them. This all changed during a «what am I going to eat for lunch» huddle at work. I contemplated Subway, Chipotle, and the usual hot spots and she recommended Jersey Mike’s! I was quite surprised. I had the #10 tuna sandwich which was rich in flavor and very tasty. Subway is usually my go to spot for tuna sandwiches, but this was a real man’s sandwich. It was dripping with oil, vinegar, and red wine and very well seasoned! It was about 8.75 with tip. I must be honest… there seemed to be a lot of staff walking back in forth in the back of the counter. I’m sure they had things they were working on… but it just looks bad when there are a lot of people waiting. I will be back! :)

***I am not a big fan of chain fast food restaurants, but the Italian sandwich at Jersey’s Mikes is surprisingly good(some of their sandwiches though are mediocre); with this sandwich, you get a variety of meats and unlike a lot of fast food sandwich shops, there is a noticeable distinction in the flavor and texture of each meat; Jersey’s Mikes is also not stingy with the meat, which you will find at Subway as well as some of the other big name sandwich shops; prices are high, but a little goes a long way here and a «mini» is more than enough for one person; service was quick and very friendly*** This Jersey Mike’s is located in a small shopping plaza with a Ralphs and a Starbucks. These businesses share a free parking lot and it is easy finding an open space.

My second time trying Jersey Mike’s and the sandwich I had here was so good! Could have been because I drank the night before but it was still good eats! Located in the Ralph’s plaza. Staff is friendly and quick. Big Kahuna Cheese Steak, reg — $ 8.50 — Meat had a nice sweet marinade and was cooked well. I loved that it had grilled onions, peppers, and mushrooms. The cheese came out hot and gooey. Chicken Philly Cheese Steak, reg — $ 8.50 — Chicken was not marinated but was cooked well. I loved that it had grilled onions, peppers, and mushrooms. The cheese came out hot and gooey. I got the buffalo sauce on the side because it needed a wet sauce. Only negative would be the sandwich was pretty small for $ 8.50. It was probably 7 inches long. Overall, very good sandwiches!

Great little sandwich place walking distance from my office for lunch. I’ve come a long way since my Subway and Togo’s sandwich days because I prefer this chain sandwich shop now and see them popping up everywhere. Although the lines can go out the door, I’m willing to wait for one of two sandwiches that are my usual… the hot roast beef provolone or the turkey provolone– Mike’s Way(with Onions, Lettuce, Tomatoes, Vinegar, Oil and Spices). For this particular location, I am always greeted with friendly, enthusiastic, energetic and smiling worker bees. They seem to have a good team effort-conveyor belt– kind of system and keep the area where they build your sandwiches as uncluttered and as neat as possible. They slice the meats fresh, right in front of you. They work as quickly and as efficiently as they can during the busy lunch rush and I am always pleased that they make my sandwich just the way I like it. I’m pretty picky and always give them somewhat difficult instructions such as «easy meat, no tomatoes, not too much lettuce, light on the vinegar and oil, make sure they cook my roast beef so there is no pink etc… and they comply with a smile every time. PARKING: Can get tough during the lunch rush between 11:30am — 1:30pm as it shares a parking lot with Ralphs, Starbucks and Chase Bank. I would walk to avoid having to deal with parking challenges if you work or live close by.

Subway is basically dead to me now. Still breathing is Capriotti, but this Jersey Mike’s place is kicking some serious ass as far chain sandwich shops go. Came in for the Philly Cheese steak. Had it loaded up with everything they could pile on it and BUHBAAM! An excellent sandwich. The bread is lite and tastes like bread rather than a shoe sole(your choice white or wheat). The meat was piled on and the whole thing just tasted like heaven. Since this was my 1st visit, it seemed that their biggest hits are the cold sandwiches. The selection is pretty decent. Ill need to do another recon to confirm. Overall: Its a bit out of my way but worth the drive for quality food & service. The long line confirms the quality. Im a fan! P.S. Quiznos & Togo’s…Puhleez.

Another busy lunch spot in El Segundo. The service is pretty fast for such long lines, but not much seating inside, but plenty outside. If you’re lucky you might run into a Kings, or Lakers player out for lunch after practice. I usually opt for the The Original Italian: Provolone, ham, prosciuttini, cappacuolo, salami and pepperoni, which they slice on the spot.
