I’ve never been to Specialty’s before but I visited a friend who worked near by and wanted coffee so we came into the Peet’s coffee served inside. Parking is very plentiful and free. It seems like there aren’t enough spots but most people walk here because it is in the middle of the business area. There is plenty of seating inside and outside. This is a nice area to come and have coffee and get some work done or just chat with a couple of friends. I’m sure it gets really busy during lunch time, but I got here once the lunch rush was over so there weren’t that many people. When you walk in, you order and pay for your food on the iPads, which I think is really cool and convenient. Our coffee was good, nothing different from the other Peet’s coffee stores. It came out pretty fast too. Definitely want to come back to try their food.

I am totally hooked on the turkey cranberry sandwich here. Anyone who knows me will tell you I’m a sucker for a thanksgiving themed sandwich. We often get box lunches from Specialty’s in the office and everyone loves them. You can order online and skip the line, or they have ipads when you enter that you can place your order. Their system remembers your favorite items(if you choose to save them) so it makes ordering a breeze. It allows you to customize all the menu items as well. Their baked goods are awesome too. I got one of their bittersweet chocolate chips to go with my lunch. It was a large cookie with huge chunks of chocolate, so good!

Clean and modern décor. 4 for quality of food. Customer service a 3. Each time I’ve been here my order is screwed up. The breakfasts are hearty and they have Peet’s coffee which is a plus. Great place to meet your coworkers as this location is large and very busy at lunch time where you receive a pager to let you know your order is ready.

Good sandwich and soup joint for lunch. I loved the turkey apple bacon brie sandwich. Afterwards, I found the calories online(ouch) but have decided to still love it as a calorie-expensive treat. In summary, I like the sandwich creations.

Large, modern, relaxing space. Lots of different furniture and areas to sit and do work or just hang. Ordering is a little confusing. You can order with a live person or from an Ipad kiosk but that isn’t clear when you first walk in. Peet’s coffee shop is available also which is nice. I ordered an iced latte and a veggie melt breakfast sandwich. The garlic butter on the ciabatta bread really was the star of the show. Cheese was nice and melty as well. Fresh spinach and mushrooms completed it. It was pretty rich though and I could only eat half. The pastries looked okay… nothing spectacular although I didn’t try any. I would come back here if I am driving by again but although it’s a good stop for protein most of the sandwiches are super high in calories. I will probably try a salad next time. Lots of staff to help out. If you need a quiet place with lots of seating, wifi and good eats this is it.

Specialty’s is around the corner from my office and the online ordering tool is genius. You can create a group order and send an email to all of your meal participants and everyone can select their own meals. They’re given a deadline to order, a budget and there’s a default meal if they don’t order in time. The sandwiches are fantastic. Something for everyone. And there’s a nutrition calculator as you’re ordering, which I love. You can customize everything. The cookies are amazing — well worth ignoring the nutrition calculator on them.

Try everything! You don’t know what you like until you’ve tried it. I eat here almost everyday for breakfast, lunch and afternoon snack. I’m not vegan = vegan chili is awesome. Order early. I didn’t like sandwiches = eat one almost everyday Mitchelle always provides great suggestions and friendly service. Omar is a great barista! All around great team! Ordering online is really fast and efficient. Lastly ciabatta = bagel 2.0

THECOOKIES Hands down the best cookies ever. The semi-sweet chocolate chip cookies are my favorite.

This is within walking distance from my office, so the convenience factor alone is great. They sell Pete’s coffee which is always on point. The sandwich selection is probably best referred to as gourmet or specialty style. I have had the turkey and the roast beef. Both were very good, a little on the pricey side for me, but with the added convenience of its location the pricing is a little more acceptable. The staff is very friendly and welcoming when you walk in. Even during their lunch-rush they are very courteous and relatively quick to get your order to you.

DONOTGETTHEIRBLUEBERRYMUFFIN! I called to complain and they mentioned their blueberry muffin is supposed to take like fkin curry! Really??? Come on. It just tastes so awful and weird. Beyond that, I still love their hot sandwiches!

Came here for the first time today! Wanted some sweets along with an iced coffee! Sounds good right! I got a milk chocolate cookie — da bomb! With a regular iced coffee! The place is big and comfy and the service was great. They also have these kiosks where you can order yourself but my friend tried and it erased his order so we got in line — the old fashioned way :)

I try to use 5 star ratings sparingly, but I’m going to go ahead and give this place 5 stars! I had the BBQ chicken bacon sandwich and it was so good. The BBQ sauce was sweet and fusion of flavors with the coleslaw, bacon, and chicken was pretty blissful. I also had a snickerdoodle cookie which was at least 10 million calories. I compare the cookie to a pillow made of cinnamon and sugar. Ordering online is easy and convenient and available for pickup near the dining area with no cashier interaction, which also means you’re saving on tips. LOL, jk Check it out! 11 bucks for a sandwich and cookie.

Warning: their baked goods could jepordize any diet you’re currently on or thinking about going on but damn they’re good. Also enjoy their sandwiches and salad(usually go for the Thai chicken salad). Love their ordering system(both online so you can do it ahead and have the food ready for pick up by the time I walk over from my office) or when you’re there so it expedites their process. We’ve also used them for large orders of sandwiches/salads/cookies and they were very quick with the order when other place messed up(see my DoorDash review). Minor complaint is that they’re a bit pricey but we’ve had the company pick up the tab more often than not so it’s not a huge issue.

Specialty’s Café is special! I’ve had my eye on this little café ever since it opened for a variety of reasons! I won’t deny that the first one is because it is located at the same building where the new Hello Kitty headquarters is ;).(Hey, no judging, I am Hello Kitty Foodie after all ;) Aside from that however, I’ve heard many positive things about their sandwiches and cookies from my co-workers. I saw the menu was intrigued with the yummy and unique offerings! One happy Friday, I visited this café for lunch. As I was waiting for my friend, my eyes instantly spotted the delicious looking croissants and cookies! All their baked goods looked so amazing! I also couldn’t help but be happy too with the Peet’s coffees offerings. Coffee heaven and baked goods galore, yay! When my friend came and it was time to order. I honestly had a hard time choosing what i wanted. Every thing sounded so good. I was debating between the hot roasted veggie, the four cheese, the turkey, apple, brie and bacon and the peanut butter and stuff sandwich! Did I want the savory or the sweet? Ahh decisions, decisions! I ended up getting the Peanut Butter and Stuff sandwich which consisted of peanut butter and whole cranberry sauce with fresh bananas and granny smith apples on whole wheat. I also decided to treat myself(hey we all deserve a treat once in awhile and it was Friday after all) and got a white chocolate chip macadamia cookie. My peanut butter and stuff sandwich was very unique. I loved the banana and peanut butter combo. It’s a classic that can never be messed up. The addition of the granny apples and cranberry sauce was something different. I think the cranberry sauce made it a bit sweet for me and the granny apples added a little bit of sourness. It was good sandwich though and one to be tried at least once. Next time though I think I’m going for savory sandwiches. The real winner of my trip here was the white chocolate chip macadamia cookie! At $ 2.89 a piece, their cookies are pricey but they are amazing. OMG it was delicious! They are thick, soft, moist, sweet and simply melt in your mouth. It’s definitely a treat and one of the best cookies I’ve ever had. Overall I really liked Specialty’s Café. I like the variety of offerings. I also like the feel of the café. It’s Natural sunlight was brightening the whole place and there was plenty of comfy chairs to sit at. It wasn’t loud inside and it was a good place to eat at and chat with friends. I will definitely be back here and no, it’s not because of Hello Kitty headquarters… well ok maybe a little bit is that haha…(nothing like the giddy feeling of seeing Hello Kitty employees… I want to be their friend!!). Seriously however, I will be back because I want to try their other sandwiches, warm soups and refreshing salads! I also can’t wait to try their other cookies! This place is special! Next stop after eating here… Hello Kitty Headquarters ;)

This is next door to a client meeting I had today and I stopped by because the many«Peet’s Coffee» signs around the building led me to believe there was an actual Peet’s barista inside. Not so. The store is very clean and the staff is friendly, however. My score is for the false advertising and the drink itself being almost undrinkable.(I did not order any food.) This is *not* a Peet’s, and I think Peet would cry if he knew how he was represented in this way. Though the staff, again, is friendly, they wouldn’t accept my Peet’s giftcard and said they«only brew Peet’s coffee and that’s the only association.» Bummed, I still ordered a white chocolate mocha and handed over my debt card. The almond milk had been burned and it had watered down flavor, no white chocolate to be tasted. So bummed!

I love technology. I mean, think about it, it keeps making things more efficient and convenient to use. For example, I’m communicating to you all across the globe from the Internet and the comfort of my home restroom! Wow! What a time to be alive! However, there are some places that technology is not somewhere you want to dominate your existence. A coffee shop is one of them. A coffee shop should embody a comfortable, pleasant space where human interaction is treasured. I walked into this shop with my girlfriend, and the person behind the counter tells her to use her iPad kiosks. He then proceeds to resentfully take her order and actually appeared angry at her for asking him to take her order. Homie, I know that you might not like your existence as a barista, I know, I used to work as one at your age, and that dealing with people may be beneath you, but don’t give the technology more of a reason to make your existence in that shop more obsolete. Actually, the coffee’s not bad, but my coffee maker can do this guy’s job without complaint.

My brother and I came in here for breakfast and baked goods one morning. We both got breakfast sandwiches, mine was the Southwestern. We got an iced coffee and a Carmel latte. The sandwiches and coffee were really good. However, nothing prepared me for how awesome their baked goods are. We got brownies, muffins and cookies. These were the best cookies that I ever had in my life. Crunchy on the outside, soft and moist on the inside. The prices are not for the faint of heart though. You pay for the deliciousness, that’s for sure. But that’s OK with me. I know that they are catering to the office buildings but no late hours and being closed on the weekends is going to make it very hard to get these goodies very often.

Specialty’s is pretty good. The workers here are all 5 stars friendly and efficient. Free WiFi although I haven’t been able to get it to connect. The food is always good and they have never gotten my order wrong. I’m always coming here to get their iced coffee and it’s so much better than Starbucks. The cookies are sometimes super dry so I wouldn’t suggest that. Especially the hemp seed oatmeal with chocolate chips one or some weirdo name. That one isn’t that good. Parking is never a problem, and it’s always free and plentiful. And if you’re picking up an order, there are three parking spots right up front for pick up parking(10 mins or less time limit) Ask for Jorel. He will take care of you.

I’ll temper my praises for this café for now and say a solid 3 – 3.5 stars effort going on, with room to grow. This new coffee, pastry, and sandwich shop is very close to my work… walking distance is always a good thing for during the work week, and our campus cafeteria is just putrid food services food made by absolute grunts. So having quick and diverse food options during a workday will be very exciting. I stopped in for a morning pastry and a coffee. I got what I was looking for. I settled on a chocolate croissant and an almond milk latte. The choco-croissant was good, a little bit greasy, but filling enough, and tasty, and just the sugar I needed this morning to get me going. The Almond Milk latte on the other hand was not made very well, the milk was scalded, the espresso was lacking body, and I was disappointed. I really wish coffee-stressing coffee shops would train the folks on the barista bar. I really wish that they’d hire folks that know how to make a cappuccino or latte or good cup of coffee. Because so many min-wage hires, while I applaud their working for a living, just cannot make good coffee. But I digress. It took a LONG time for the coffee to come out… two ladies working the bar, neither really had it down yet, and I hope they«get it.» I picked at my croissant and had it pretty much finished because the 11 minutes it took AFTER I paid to get the latte was a bit on the long side. PROs: — Great comfortable space, free Wifi, all new and cool. — Plenty of breakfast and lunch food options. — Catering and delivery. — Delightful pastries. — Very friendly and smiling staff… kudos to those folks. — Close to my work… easy in and out. CONs: — Terrible latte. — Coffee order took way too long. — Needs a little work. Solid 3, working on 4… will try again. You should give them a try too. ENJOY!
