Went for an event and they did my group dirty, on top of that they gave me a price when I asked if they had a veggie pizza then over charged me. I won’t be going back, the pizzas aren’t that great for the price.

If Soho Cocktail Lounge were a lady, and you were trying to set a friend up with said lady on a blind date, you’d probably have to pull the old, ‘She’s got a great personality’ or ‘She’s really funny’ card when your friend asks what she looks like. Better with beer goggles might be the perfect way describe Soho, but she’s definitely worth your time, and I think a shoe-in to win your heart. It’s leans far more towards shabby than chic, but makes up for what it lacks in personality. Tanya W took me to Soho for some end of the work day drinks and I’ll be real, I went through a roller coaster of emotions and judgements with this place. From the 2 two blocks down and looking at the outside it looks like super cute. Like maybe an old classic cocktail bar relic or something… then you get up closer and they have all this junky sports memorabilia and you realize that it’s less a cocktail lounge and more a sports bar. Stepping inside it did not smell like gourmet food, not that I was hungry, but the point I’m trying to make is that this wouldn’t be a destination dining spot. Drinks or bust, baby. Looking around, the crowd was definitely dude-heavy, but not the jerky kinds of dudes that you’d expect at a sports bar. The guys here seemed super nice, like they probably have nice mothers and sisters and grandmas and are respectful and polite to women. Major points in my book. Once I got a decent sampling of the patrons, I guess I’d describe the crowd here(in comic book character tees and almost all working on laptops, taking advantage of their free wifi) to be leaning a bit more towards the nerdy side, which I find endearing. The décor is def miss-mosh of dated and crusty. To be fair, they were doing a bit of construction on the place(I think installing some lights and/or security cameras), but in general it could use a good scrub, though I think that’s an okay vibe for this place. It’s like hanging out in your friend’s basement and with lots of couches, screens, a jukebox, pool table, etc. Perfect casual place to meet up with a group of friends. Service was on point. The gentlemen who work here, as mentioned above, were so incredibly nice. Popping in to check on us often even though we sat in the most annoying spot ever for the bartender, located at the high-top furthest from the bar. I was kind of hoping they have a cocktail menu to look at, but they didn’t bring anything over and I didn’t ask, so I really don’t know. I just kind of saw that they had Rumchata and asked if they could do me up something real nice-like with that. The bartender happily accepted my challenge and came back in a jiffy with the most delicious tall frozen rumchata drink imaginable. Tanya and I both drank 3 each of those drinks, and the bartender was kind enough to give us a round on him since the construction they were doing around our table was pretty loud and distracting, so that was really super nice of him. He definitely didn’t have to do that, and we really appreciated the kind gesture. After our 3 drinks each(that went down faster than spring water in a dessert) we were feeling damn good about ourselves(and life in general). And even though I walked in and kind of cringed at the stained fabric chairs and dusty everything, the beer(or Rumchata) goggles were in full effect and I left in lust with this lounge. So even though it’s a bit of an ugly duckling, Soho has definitely got the personality, character working, and on-point service studs to bring me back in for a second date.

It’s divey, but this is one of my absolute favorite sports bars in El Paso. Soho is seriously underrated. I don’t know what has spurred my obsession with places that don’t try too hard(or at all), but Soho is one of those places. You go to drink a couple of drinks, play pool, and watch a game(or a fight… basically whatever the heck is on the TVs). The-oh-so-obviously named Rumchata is seriously a 5 star drink here! Recommend. Recommend. Recommend. There’s a really cool mix of people here no matter what time of day you go. Great place to mingle and network. I love the staff here, they’re a lot of fun and chat up just about everyone about absolutely anything. Soho is a must for all locals and tourists!

This is a nice place to go if you want a dim lounge feel with the option of an open floor to dance. For those of us that get the urge to dance after a few drinks. Friendly bar service and good music.

A guest and I went to this lounge at 7 on a Wednesday. So the night life hasn’t really started. But we sat at the bar and was helped immediately. We ordered two drinks and two individual pizzas. They were surprisingly good for a bar/lounge pizza. It did not take long for the food. I don’t know how late the pizzas are made for. But if I had a few drinks and it was last call, the pizza would be a perfect end of the night snack. I’ll have to revisit this place later to see how the night life and cocktails are!

I went there for lunch with my girlfriend and it was great! The food was awesome! We had their margarita pizza and it was great! The service was extremely friendly and fast. The atmosphere was very laid back; some might say they are going for the hipster vibe. Prices are also very good.

I’ve been here several times, most of the time was two or three years ago so I won’t use that for my review. I went this weekend more recently and I had fun. The drinks are well made, the ambiance is fun but still classy. I haven’t tried their food but I’ve heard good things about it. I used to work at the DoubleTree downtown and would always send guests their way, for what it’s worth the guests never had anything negative to say. A little pricey(not bad, $ 4 wells $ 3 domestics) but it’s worth it for the classy vibe you get. I really can’t wait to try their food and will be making a special trip soon.

5+ for the hip factor and walking distance from Doubletree makes this a place to go when you want to get away. The margaritas were awesome, had that really good ice you love to crunch on. The DJ played some awesome club music and almost forgot they make the most awesome thin pizza from scratch, could not ask for me.

This place is not just a bar but also a restaurant, a really good restaurant that specializes in personal pizzas that are really awesome. I liked the margherita with their house side salad and it was not expensive at all. They also have a full bar and the owner provided excellent service. I would definitely recommend giving this place a try if you are in the area and want a really good pizza.

SOHOISNOWOPENFORLUNCH! I love this place for lunch. They serve healthy food without the guilt. Delicious pizza, their salads are huge and great for the price and their wraps and panini’s are nothing short of incredible. If you are in the downtown area and want something different for lunch, stop by Soho. You won’t be disappointed.

Interesting place I visited after suggestion from a friend. Really laid back atmosphere and the customers are generally from the business crowd. In El Paso, it is not too common to see people dressed in suits hanging out in the bars and pubs around town. Dress to impress and you won’t feel out of place.
