Gross. This hotel was dirty. The bed was stained, the sheets had brownish red spots and so did the towels. My bed had hair in it. The floor was DISGUSTING! Honestly if I hadn’t just drove 15 hours I would have moved on. I was not comfortable with the cleanliness at all. I gave it three stars only for the fact that it felt safe to stay the night. I would not stay here again.

Great stay in this place i had an emergency night and they were available and very welcoming… All at an amazing price. Make sure to sign up for choice rewards and earn points to get free stays. The breakfast room could be expanded but the rooms were sweet!

If you’re needing a place to stay just for one night this place will do it for you. I think we got a great deal for the price we paid. They had a microwave, coffee maker, tv with cable and free wifi in the room and a ice machine in the hall way. They serve complimentary breakfast. It’s a full meal(waffles, muffins, toast, sausage, eggs, cereal, fruit, coffee, juice, tea). The hotel itself is also close to the mall, target and a lot of other big stores. I’m giving it four stars because the room itself needs a little lift me up but other then that everything was great considering we only paid 50 some dollars.

After driving almost 2,000 miles we came across the Sleep Inn. Other reviews would lead you to believe this might not be one of the most unfortunate situations to find yourself in. From the shady parking lot to the stained carpets and comforters I can safely say just keep driving.

Me and my partner drove to El Paso from Dallas to visit his parents and stayed here July 3 – 7, 2013. At first I had issues with my credit card, but was able to use my father in laws points from Choice Hotels. Given the circumstances, me and my partner were kind of stressed out, but the Front Desk Clerk, Sergio was VERY accommodating and sincere, and made our check in go as smooth as we could have wanted. We had booked a King Suite and upon entering the room we were both pleasantly surprised. The room was super clean and very spacious. The air conditioning worked well, which in the El Paso heat was a BIG plus! The only thing that was missing was an ashtray, which Sergio was quick to provide one. The heated indoor pool provided a nice relaxing place to escape the heat and chill out. The continental breakfast was plentyful and satisfying. The employees(Sergio, Veronica & Marisal) made our stay even more enjoyable. They were always friendly and didn’t mind helping us when we asked. If you don’t want to spend a fortune for a play to stay while in El Paso, I HIGHLY recommend Sleep Inn University. We are returning in December for Christmas and have already booked our room there! TWOTHUMBSUP!!!

I’ve been a Phoenician since 1998 but head home to West Texas several times a year to visit family. I’ve always been able to stay at my brother’s place, but when I went back this past weekend for my niece’s baptism, I decided to stay at a hotel since my brother’s in-laws were staying at his home. The Sleep Inn was my home away from home away from home for three nights. This hotel is nice in that rooms are accessible through the lobby and not through the outside like many cheaper hotels and motels. There’s nothing really fancy about the hotel. It isn’t old but isn’t new. It’s decorated as you would expect and, thanks to it being a humid weekend, smelled a bit musty. The front desk staff were all friendly and accommodating, even after we asked for extra towels a few times. Our room was on the second floor and overlooked the parking lot. The two double beds were very soft but not uncomfortably so, and each had four small-ish feather pillows. The AC unit worked REALLY well and kept the room super cold — just as I like it. One thing I didn’t care for was the bathroom setup. The vanity area wasn’t enclosed along with the toilet and shower. This wasn’t a problem, but people who desire extra privacy should keep this in mind. The toilet and shower were in a small«closet» with a sliding door. Thankfully, the entire bathroom area was spotless. Huge warning: the shower floor, while textured, was EXTREMELY slippery. We ended up putting down an extra towel to stand on while in the shower. This really helped. While we didn’t take advantage, a free continental breakfast was provided daily, with extended hours on the weekend. There’s a little café area off the lobby with a few tables and chairs for guests to enjoy their breakfast. Also in that area were vending machines, an ice machine, and a computer for guest use. There’s also a heated, indoor pool on the first level. All-in-all, this is a great little hotel and I would happily consider staying there again.
