A friend recommended Kee’s to us and we finally had a chance to stop by. I’m so glad we did. Not only was the food delicious, but the service was outstanding! I rank customer service way up there when I’m deciding on a place to eat. And Kee’s went above and beyond. The woman that helped us asked if we had ever been there before. When we said no, she brought out an appetizer for us to sample on the house. It was delicious and the gesture is always appreciated. My husband ordered Chicken Katsu and I ordered the Bento Box. Everything was delicious. The teriyaki chicken and beef were great, the rice was perfect, the California roll was delicious, the ginger salad was refreshing, and the gyoza was on point. We will definitely be returning.

So I stopped by for the first time, it was around 4:00 pm and I was as hungry as can be! I was unsure of what to order since their menu options are plentiful but a tray sampler of some sort definitely won me over. This tray consisted of: chicken teriyaki, beef teriyaki, spring roll dumplings and a ginger salad. I must admit this meal was delicious and hearty; so much that I went the next day with my little brother for another one! By the way, both times I had my meals with a glass of ice cold green tea. By all means a hidden gem on the east side!

If you happen to stop by Kee’s, make sure you order the Patrick Bowl! It is absolutely delicious. Although the combination(rice, chicken teriyaki, crab, avocado, seaweed, and sesame seeds) seemed a bit out in left field to me at first, I couldn’t be more glad that I gave it a try. It really has become my go-to order here(that, and a California roll). Honestly, even when I am at my hungriest, an order of those two dishes is very filling and satisfying! Great prices for amazingly large portions! My fiancé is also smitten with the Patrick Bowl; he usually orders that, along with either the Rainbow Roll or the French Kiss Roll. I recommend this location primarily for takeout, as they do not have a large number of tables, and the ambiance is quite casual. This is my reason for the 4-star review; I would like a few more tables so that it would be a bit easier to get a seat. I should note that their takeout service is amazingly fast, very consistent, and wonderfully delicious. The food is always packaged such that it arrives at my table still very beautifully presented. It may not be the fanciest locale, but please do definitely give this hidden gem a try! You will not be disappointed!

I approached this place with an open mind since I had had limited experiences with sushi and they were not that good. The place is pleasant and clean and the lady behind the counter was very friendly. She recommended the Miso soup along with our crab rangoons. Both were amazingly tasty! We ordered the Nigri Combo so that I could sample the salmon, shrimp, tuna, eel and white fish and an order of spicy California rolls. OMG! The universe made it up to me with for with this food! I as highly satisfied needless to say. I was amazed to realize the eel became a quick favorite! The rest were quick to follow. The white fish however, was very bland and from what I understand this is about right. It wasn’t bad though don’t get me wrong but now I know those will not be in my next order. Choosing the sampler was the exact thing I needed! I will come back and try the teriyaki dishes as the couple sitting next to us were very enjoying their those too. So glad we ran across this place! Looking forward to visiting again as I am now a believer!

My boyfriend and I were really craving sushi and we ended up driving around like mad men looking for a sushi place that was open on a Monday afternoon. Some of Unilocal’s suggestions had their times incorrect but then we stumbled upon this place. It may have been the upcoming sand storm but there didn’t seem to be any cars in the parking lot. When we walked in, we were greeted by a friendly woman who sat us down and took our drink order. Since we were starving, we ended up ordering three special rolls. Little did we know, there was about 8 – 10 rolls in each lol. They have us a free appetizer of crab rangoons and these little dumplings. We ordered the Ki’s roll, Las Vegas roll, and the French kiss roll. All the rolls were freshly made and although appearances may be deceiving, this sushi place is a go to.

Love this place! Sushi rolls are huge. Prices are not bad. Friendly staff. Very small dining area that gets crowded.

This place was ok! Unilocal had me a lot more excited about it than I was when I left there. We had California rolls, Hawaiian roll, and Philadelphia roll and an order of gyoza. None of it was bad or really spectacular either. I give it 3 stars because the waitress who was very nice got both of our orders wrong. And the sushi was way too heavy with rice. Like WAY too heavy. It was ok though. Definitely better places to eat sushi in EP.

This place is the sh! t. I love the Patrick bowl personally. But today since it was cloudy I had the spicy noodle soup with pork. I always get either or. Now I’m going home for a nice napp…

My experience here, was great! Waitress was really cool and sweet. Food was good, not exquisite but I was not disappointed. The place is small. Staff was nice. I do recommend this place to hang and chat with friends or maybe a casual date. Place is small. Not too fancy. Overall good experience and I enjoyed my food.

Our usual Sushi spot was packed and there was only one server tending to customers, so we decided to try this place. The food was okay to say the least. We had the Golden California Roll and the Spicy Salmon Roll. It would have been better if they had not drenched both rolls in some sauce that was sweeter than my Pepsi! The waitress staff was friendly and we got our order rather quick. I wouldn’t go back though at least not to eat the sushi.

Where do I begin? There was no soap in the bathrooms. The bathrooms were filthy. We were given no utensils. They forgot our appetizer. And when my wife repeatedly had to go find someone to address these things cause the waitress was MIA she had to deal with an off duty waitress sitting near the register rolling her eyes and shaking her head as if these weren’t necessary essentials. This girl had no idea I was watching her and we were not the only customers she did this to. The crab meat was imitation crab which most places let u know on the menu. Had I known this I would have ordered differently. Unilocal absolutely failed me on this one. Will never go back there.

Excellent small feel restaurant. The sushi here never disappoints. The Bento and Spicy Bento Box is always fantastic, excellent portion sizes for the price too. Also the wait staff is very courteous and the chef always greets everyone with a smile, no matter how busy she is. Easily one of my favorite restaurants in El Paso.

Been coming here For years and the food here is great and tastes the same every single time I’ve come in. The owners are awesome and after being gone for a year(moved away) they still remembered me and asked how I was doing. Very taken back by that, this place is great between me and my lady we get the Patrick special bowls, one with chicken and one with beef along with a cali roll and a French kiss roll. The Patrick special bowls are awesome. Rice, crab, Teri chicken(or beef) with avocado and nori. At first I didn’t think it would be any good, too much things going on in my head, then I tried it and was blown away. It tastes awesome! The flavors mesh well and combine for a great experience. The sushi rolls are huge, and are great quality. The fish tastes fresh and I have never had a bad sushi there. We stick with the cali and French kiss but when you go and check it out they have quite a few choices for rolls. That along with some miso soup and your set. We have been coming here for years now and will def be coming back whenever I’m in town!

3 stars for this place. Bento box great! Philly roll great! Cali roll imitation crab but suprsingly good. Las Vegas not good, was too hard and fishy and did not taste good, actually made me want to gag. The rag used to clean our table smelled like an old dirty rag. Service was good and prices are good.

Somedays(okay, once a week) I have a craving for seafood, veggies and rice. It’s convenient that some genius decided to wrap these all up in seaweed and top them with other things I love like Siracha. Everything good about life is wrapped up in bite-sized pieces of sushi and anyone who says different is a communist. And thus my constant hunt for the 5 star sushi joint in EP. 3 stars, yes, but at the moment Kee’s is my go to. This location is kind of hole-in-the-wall, but I’m not mad at it. It may even be a bit dated. There’s maybe ten tables and there’s a few seats at the sushi bar itself(although I’ve never actually seen anyone sit there). Above the tables there’s paper lanterns. The soda fountain proudly sits on the counter to the right, but you’ll never touch it… you know cause the waitresses are great! And the place is small. From my quick visual that I’m trying to give, I think you can understand why I couldn’t rate Kee’s above a 3. But I come for the rolls. And the Miso Soup. All time favorite roll from KT is the Caterpillar Roll! And yes it does have a «filler ingredient» avocado, but anyone who acts like the addition of avocado or cream cheese to sushi is a bad thing is out if line. You want straight fish with rice? Order Sashimi! Enough of that, but the eel really is killer at KT and it doesn’t hurt that it fulfills my strange addiction to eel sauce. If you like to stick with the more simple rolls, I’m a HUUUUUUUUUUGE fan of the Spicy Tuna!!! And the panko fried rolls… very different then what typically shows up on my table when I order a fried roll, but I like ‘em. I may even go as far to say I love ‘em! They’re completely covered in panko which makes them perfect for dipping in sauces without fear of them falling apart. Most of the rolls are big enough, yet still bite-sized, but the pankos are two bites fer sure. I’m not sure how I feel about that. I’ll let you know when I figure it out. They do plate the rolls nicely, but there usually on plastic plates… so ya. If you’re lucky enough to be in KT when the owner is there, make sure you talk her up(although she’ll probably start the convo because she really is that involved with her business). She’s the sweetest lady and will recommend the best dishes(so whatever she’s cooking). The rest of the staff is great as well. All smiles and helpful, no complaints there. I love Kee’s and I’ll always be a regular! It’s definitely a neighborhood fave, I just want more from it. But I’ll never stop going!

Kee’s is a solid Teriyaki joint, reminiscent of the big city Teriyaki restaurants. The food is good, and the atmosphere is very relaxed, but the people are way friendlier! I recommend the Spicy Chicken Teriyaki, but careful because their highest level of spiciness is pretty darn hot! Not a fan of the salad, but then again, I’m not a fan of most salads; I do enjoy the unlimited soda refills.
