Julio’s is a great place to head for solidly good Mexican food. As an indicator of the quality, they are usually packed, although they seat guests so efficiently that there is rarely a long wait time. I love that they oftentimes pull local musical talent as their entertainment. The food is reliably good, and runs the gamut from more«Americanized» Mexican food to the more authentic. There is something here for everyone. Their drinks are good, and compliment the delicious food well. The service is a touch slow at times, but this usually only happens when it is particularly busy. The prices are very reasonable. They do very well with large groups, and have no problem handling multiple of them at a time. The salsa is always fresh, and they make the chips fresh in house! The small touches like that indicate the overall quality. I would recommend giving Julio’s a try if you ever find yourself craving Mexican food in El Paso!

Bueno pero un cóctel de camarón con camarón del walmart a 18 dólares y sin sabor no los vale.

Best pork in town! We really enjoyed our food and the atmosphere here. Drinks were good, staff was cordial and the live music was a good touch.

I know a lot of people might say there are better Mexican restaurants but I would highly disagree. Julios has been around so long they must be doing something rite. I would recommend trying this place if your in El Paso visiting, haven’t ever been there or stationed on Fort Bliss and looking for a place to ease you into the Mexican food scene. They have two locations one on joe battle close to Montana and the original location in between Lomaland and Yarborough on I-10 east. The corona special is one recommendation if your adventurous it consist of chicken mole enchiladas with the usual rice and re fried beans and is super filling. The chile con queso is like no other and made with long hatch green chile strips sautéed onion and tomato served with corn or flour tortillas. Julios definitely won’t disappoint plus they have a full bar and can make any of your favorite cocktails if your in the mood. Every Sunday they have live music at the original location and an awesome brunch buffet at both locations.

Visited on Friday night before the crowds. Margaritas were excellent, however the chips tasted like they came out of a bag. The salsa was good but an odd color and very watery. I ordered the Corona enchiladas. Incredible mole sauce filled with lots of shredded chicken. Beans not so good, but rice was tasty. Bacon wrapped shrimp looked great as did the Chile Rellenos. All in all a good meal for a fair price. Will try again next time I visit El Paso.

I love this place. Food is good, the one time I ate there the service was good. Usually I just get the chimichangas to go, it’s enough for two people.

The environment and staff are very good. The margaritas were tasteful, but not as stout as I would have liked. The prices were reasonable as well. Service was very slow however it was busy, and the food was very bland. I had the corona special and my wife had the Chile relleno. Nice place, hope they were having an off day.

Now I’m not exactly one for Mexican food and I was forced to go here but it was really good considering I don’t typically like Mexican food and I would come again.

The place itself is nice, but food not so much. I ordered a beef taco, beef enchilada, and chili rellano. The taco tasted like dog food, and very very hard/chewy meat. The beef enchilada was literally a taquito with red sauce on it. The beef in this was so hard that I couldn’t even cut through it with the side of my fork(also tasted poor). The chili rellano was just okay. Edible, but I wouldn’t waste money on it again. My wife however got chicken tacos, and they were delicious. Also, I can’t remember the waiters name. But he gave us some of the best service that we have experienced in El Paso in years. VERY pleased with him. If we ever decide to go back, I’ll be sticking with chicken and avoiding beef.

REALLY wonderful place. Very attentive staff, nice atmosphere! I absolutely love this place, will definitely be going back! My husband ordered chicken enchiladas with green sauce, yum! I ordered the Corona Mexican Plate(taco, enchilada and chile reno.) With a jalapeño margarita. The part that I really love is that they’re a family owned Christian resturant.

An amazing El Paso favorite. I just don’t understand any fine restaurant carrying Sutter Home wine. If you carry quality wine we will buy it. The mark up is 300%. Carry at least Kendall Jackson Chardonnay.

My husband and I loved it!!! The thing I loved most was the mozzarella cheese! They put it in a little bowl melted already and you put it on top of your fajitas! The cheese also comes with the appetizer but with peppers in it!!! So yummy!!! I got the sampler and I liked that too but a few items on it they don’t give that much!. Lastly I liked the atmosphere. Really calm and our waiter was perfect!!!

In my book, Julio’s Café Corona is the best, Mexican breakfast buffet in town. Sure, I may indulge others when they wanna go to another, but I’ll be dreaming of Julio’s. This location stays pretty busy on Sunday mornings. You may even encounter a wait to get a table, but generally, you’re seated rather quickly. Moreover, it gives you time to admire the restaurant, which is designed quite nicely, and features a neat patio and bar. When you get the buffet, you may be, initially, disappointed with what looks like a smaller selection of food. You can expect the usual selection of menudo, eggs, pancakes, sausage and bacon. But you might also get to choose chilaquiles, moyetes, or some mole-type dish, among other dishes. Sorry. I don’t know what to say about the mole. I don’t eat mole. They do change up the variety, but the chicharron is a personal favorite. The quality of the food is excellent. The menudo is good, though not my favorite. It’s got plenty of pepper, which I find odd. The service is great, considering they’ll usually have a bridal of baby shower hosted in the restaurant. On the rare occasion I visit for lunch or dinner, I’ve only once been disappointed, but it was with a dish I’d never had before, and that I ordered only after Robert Rodriguez recommended it. Ten points if you tell me which one I’m talking about.

Excellent meal. I normally stop here for the lunch buffet. A lot of choices and the food is great.
