El Taco Tote

I love love this place staff is super friendly and the place is really clean the food is awesome!

Authentic Mexican food, OMG so delicious!!! I was so glad I found this gem on Unilocal on our way through El Paso. Great service, huge place plenty of places to sit, food came our really quick and it was awesome. I recommend the carnasada tacos, make sure you get some refried beans and rice. If it wasn’t so far away I would eat here probably every night! :) Keep up the great work El Taco Tote!

Always great food, a little pricey but worth it. Burrotote is the bomb. The al pastor tacos have a great flavor. They have a tripita taco plate and it is goooood!

This place is the best tote in town. It’s newer and the food has been excellent every time we’ve been and tonight was no exception. Gave it a 4 star review before bc I mistakenly thought they gave me the wrong tortillas one time but my gf reminded me that was on the west side. Love this place

I’m so confused on the baked potato. It just doesn’t sound like a great side dish for tacos, but half the people in my large group ordered them so who am I to judge?
I HATE your digital menu. Keep it on the same screen, there’s no reason it need to flash to black while I’m in the middle of reading something, it just prolongs how long it takes me to order.
I loved the salsa bar. There were a lot of great options to go with my tacos!
All and all. I really enjoyed my lunch. The tacos were simple and I could add to it as I saw fit.
I’ll be back.

Can I just say, wow!!!
Being from out of town, I avoided taco tote in fear it was a ghetto version of a Taco Bell.
After experiencing it for the first time, I regret not coming here sooner.
I went on a Saturday night with my man and we had a great time.
The place was semi empty.
The electronic menu was brightly lit and had different options.
I ordered the sirloin taco combo (comes with rice, beans, and a drink) and my husband ordered adobado pork taco combo (comes with rice, beans and a drink). The total came out to $ 21 and some change.
We got our cups filled and picked a table.
We went to the salsa bar and helped ourselves to different types of salsa and toppings for our tacos.
There is also a chip stand up front next to the register where you can help yourself to unlimited tortilla chips.
My husband and I spoke for maybe a merely 5 minutes and our food was delivered.
At first bite, you could taste the quality of the meat and how perfectly marinated and properly cooked it is. The beans and rice were delicious, along with the salsa that helped to accommodate it.
The tortillas were soft and reminded us of the tacos you receive in Mexico.
We were both pleasantly surprised at the way the food tasted.
The entire time we were eating, there were employees constantly cleaning up tables, picking up trash and making sure the salsa bar was clean and stocked.
I will definitely be back for more!

One of the challenges of a place like this is consistency across all the stores. El Taco Tote answers it well.
While not exactly fast-​food, El Taco Tote offers quick service on authentic-​style tacos. You can clearly see the meat on the grill and the tacos come to your table warm and tasty. Top off your tacos with salsas, pico de gallo or guacamole sauce. The salsa bar has a great variety, and I’m a huge fan of the Cambray salsa, and mix it with the guacamole sauce to top off my flour tortilla tacos, with pollo adobado.
If you’re not interested in tacos, try the Panchos. A order of these loaded nachos, topped with your choice of meat, is enough for two; I can’t even finish one on my own. I’ll admit the nacho looks like it comes out of a can, but the Panchos will not disappoint.

Food is always delicious! Service is great. Lots of variety and authentic Mexican food.

It’s a bit pricy to some but I love it. I try to make a visit once a week. Platter for two (1) lol sirloin is on point!

If your hungry for a burrito this is the place to go! They have a variety of selection for meats. I ended up getting the chicken adobado (it was so big you couldn’t even close it like a regular burrito — its called Burrotote). They also have other selections.
Burrotote (big burrito) price I thought was fine around $ 7 and the Jamaica drink was around $ 2
El Taco Tote should open one up in So Cal maybe in LA or OC! =)

Just eat inside, food is inexpensive and quite tasty. Carne Asada or Pastor for me. :)

Came this Saturday night after thinking that the Ravens lost their playoff game. Got to the restaurant and saw that the game is in overtime. Unbelievable! The only reason for the four stars is because of the poor TV reception. Anyway, I had the beef fajita combo. Came with two tacos, double rice (I don’t eat beans), grilled onions, and unlimited drink refills. The multivendor drink machine is here. I also enjoyed the unlimited salad and salsa bar. The beef fajita tacos were very tasty. The Mexican rice was good as were the grilled onions. IMHO, this restaurant is the Pei Wei of Mexican food. I shall return!
