Got a great deal for only $ 50. A place to lay our heads down for the night with 3 kids on a drive between Arizona to Indiana. Aside from the confusing Apple map and a closed gate, we finally made it on the installation. Checked in at a beautiful hotel only to drive to the other side of base to stay in barracks. Breakfast was a couple of blocks away. Overall, it was nostalgic to hear barracks doors slamming throughout the night with a bright light coming under the door(which was snuffed out with a blanket). IHG will definitely have you work for the cheaper rate with all the driving around but would stay again for a bit of rest and fond flashbacks. Not knowing El Paso, I’d rather stay on base coming in so late at night.

Bldg 11332! One –½ Stars: Pluses: The room was large, the beds had fresh linens. Free laundry! Parking fine. Directions good from checkin on the other side of the base. Ice machine on every floor. Lil TV worked fine. Now about the drawbacks: Front and back doors to the bldg are NOT Secure– card reader installed, but non functional — no key card reqd, just pull the doors open. Ads say free shuttle– not at this bldg! No elevator– my room was on the 3rd floor. Thermostats — don’t have any control over blasting cold air every ½ hour. Air vents nasty dirty. Sink is cracked clear thru the porcelain. No exercise equipment in the bldg– oh wait, the stairs! Hallways and stairwells peeling wallpaper and dirty walls. Dayroom conjured up TV and games in my head– haha, just a big room with 2 couches– might be good for kids daycare area. internet speed is unacceptable… If you can get it to connect at all.

I recently stayed here upon pcs arrival to FT. Bliss and the customer service at the front desk is terrible! You nearly have to beg them to do their job and if they are doing their job, you receive attitude from them! worst part of my pcs travel thus far! I agree with this post as well, as I too got put in this same bldg! Where to start. This bldg 11345 is one of many bldg which are used by IHG, only one has the front desk, which for us is 6 miles on the other side of post. AC rarely and barely works, most times it is cooler to stay outside then in your room, customer service sucks trying to call front desk takes forever, the walls are paper thin so you can here your neighbors TV, or whether or not they flushed the toilet. Hotel tm cleaners are cool. If you are coming here for TDY, PCS request another bldg not worth any amount of time spent in this hotel bldg… Remember bldg 11345… Don’t do it.

Right when you walk in it is very open with a large dining room for free continental breakfast– which for a hotel housing many soldiers and families staying for a few weeks while house hunting could definitely be better! Aside from that the rooms are great even with having my 1 year old toddler, they also have a great sized park so he can blow off some energy and run around outside. Everything in the room was clean and updated and very well put together making it feel a little more homey and less like I’m being kept hostage in a room. It’s in a great location as well, maybe a mile away from all the shopping– Freedom Crossings, restaurants and the Commissary which is highly convenient. Overall, I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone and everyone– with kids and pets as well!

The hotel was a great stop over as we visited Soldiers about to deploy to Afghanistan. The employees were respectful and helpful. The room was clean and the cleaning did well to make sure the room was refreshed each day. It was one of the nicer stays that I’ve had on a post.
