I have some mixed feelings about our stay here. I appreciate their military family rate as we are here to visit my husband activated to Fort Bliss. What I like about their suites was the option to get a suite with a bedroom door that closes and separates you from the pull out in the living area. This has allowed us to have some private time. The hot breakfast is pretty much what you would expect from a hotel, as well as the rooms. However the accommodations aren’t what I would expect from a Hilton. Nothing special about the bed or bedding, not your typical Hilton quality. The wifi pretty much never works in our room. When I have called about it I just got a response that no one else has complained, it might be the wind, and they will try and reset the router. Been here a couple of days now and have yet to have an instance of it steadily working for more then 10min to a half hour without the service going in and out. The network won’t even always show up and never has more then 2 bars of signal strength. Perhaps having wifi wouldn’t be a big deal as I’m not here to work, but the tv channels are slim with little programming options appealing to my 3 year old. I will probably look into other options for our next visit but with the good rate and privacy may stay again.

Ok place to stay, but its time for an update. Furniture and finishes in the room were old, beat up and in need of replacement.

Stayed there two weeks in August and the service was ok. The hotel was clean but when I got to my room there was hair on the bathroom door and in the tub. Once that got cleaned up the stay was as expected. The only real concern is that this is a pet friendly hotel(which I don’t mind) but hearing a dog barking throughout the night as you’re trying to sleep is a big setback, but not the hotel’s fault. The Breakfast was ok for a small hotel, not a lot of variety.

I am not warning anyone away from this hotel, but if you are the type of person who reads Unilocal reviews before reserving a hotel, you will find some issues with El Paso Homewood Suites. The hotel is fairly worn — we had significant spots on the carpet, slight smudges on the wall, some mold in the bathroom, and the bathtub drained very slowly. But the room was clean and generally habitable. Also, I think the hotel should hire a few more staff. Everyone was professional and friendly. However, they seemed to be stretched.

Great hotel, rate was awesome, very clean, we loved the layout of the rooms, bed was comfy too! The only thing that I considered a drawback was trekking all over hotel for vending machines(they don’t have them) so I trek all the way down to the front desk to buy some out of the little«guest shop» only to be told they are $ 2.50 a bottle. Why must these hotels try and make a killing off water!!! Breakfast wasn’t that appealing either… they don’t serve waffles anymore and I didn’t see any fruit or yogurt.

Great hotel, the staff is friendly and the rooms are clean. There is free WiFi(slow) fridge, stove, sink & microwave. If you want quiet don’t get a room facing the interstate.

I stopped by on August 1, 2014 around 10pm at night, because we booked a reservation through the Hilton Honors Points customer service phone line. We specifically told them that we need a hotel that accepts a small dog. When I arrived to the Homewood Suite in El Paso, Texas, the front desk customer service agent was not helpful in regard to my small dog. She wanted to charge us $ 75 for our dog, but we told her that the Hilton Honors Points customer service agent did not tell us their was a fee for our small dog to stay, and the Homewood Suites front desk customer service agent did not care that their partner company mislead us. She said we still have to pay $ 75 if our dog stayed. I told her that we didn’t have the money in our budget for the $ 75, and our only option is to wake up early to get our dog from my car, before it gets hot. I told her that I had a baby boy, and we are all tired so late at night from driving across country in Texas. She did not care that I had a baby boy too at 10pm at night. She was a ruthless uncaring front desk customer service agent! We decided to stay somewhere else.

I stayed at this hotel for one week for business. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay. The staff was very courteous and friendly to all guests. The rooms are excellent with a kitchen, full size refrigerator and dishwasher. There is no need for the kitchen because the hotel provides an adequate breakfast and dinner to all guests. They even provide wine during the dinner happy hour. Nice hotel with all necessary amenities within 1mile. If you have an extended stay in El Paso stay here.

I stayed at this location since I was in El Paso for 5 weeks on a work assignment. I’m a fan of Hilton properties so I was glad this is where work chose to book me. I also appreciate the ridiculous amount of Hilton Honor’s points I earned for my weeks here. The hotel staff was friendly. Room was comfortable. I really can’t complain. While I hope I never have to spend so much time in El Paso again(sorry Texans), this place made the stay tolerable.

I stayed when the hotel first opened and really like my stay(3 months). The food was good. Breakfast was the normal eggs and a meat. Dinner was something that was a meal(Meat, 2 sides, salad, bread, and drinks)(Even if I got in late I could call ahead and a plate would be in my room). Laundry right next to the gym so drop your things and get on the treadmill/bike.

Homewood without a Fitted Bottom Sheet? Shower was lethally slippery. IH-10 noise a constant. But it is after all, El Paso!

I found the hotel adequate. The rooms were too big in my opinion. And the walk to the rooms seemed kind of long. Lots of highway noise on the highway side. The bed was too soft. And the light switch fan thing was confusing.

Comfortable stay, clean rooms, complimentary breakfast, and right off the freeway. It’s kinda nice staying at a place like this when you’re a road warrior. It has some of the creature comforts of home — — a fridge, microwave, dishwasher, table, and microwave popcorn just waiting to be popped. Bed’s pretty comfortable. One suggestion: when checking in, ask to stay on the side opposite the freeway, so you don’t hear all the traffic. There’s a TON of trucks and stuff on the 10.
