Love the shrimp fried rice Big portions and the best fried rice I’ve had. Great lunch specials and very low prices. The Edgemere location not the one in Horizon

They deliver and quickly too.
They put tooo much sauce on their sweet and sour chicken. I was not expecting their orange chicken to have a major spicy bite but it is good as well as the sesame chicken.

It’s my first time trying these food and definitely I will not recommend it didn’t meat taste bad the chicken to, and there’s something really weird of tasting of these food I found out it hair too on my food I could not eat it all I purchase about $ 35 of food from them and I’m going to have to throw them away.

Zero stars for customer service … girl is mega slow took us 20 minutes to order over the phone…

We have ordered food from here several times and have never been disappointed. Their delivery is always quick and they have never messed up our order. Every meal I’ve had from this restaurant has been super tasty. We will continue to order from Gourmet 88 as long as we live in El Paso!

Ordered from here today and they were having trouble with their credit card machine. They asked for my card number and after giving them 5 different card numbers it still didn’t go thru. Seriously. I’ll just order from some where else and never call them again. Biggest mistake ever Panda Express is so much better.

BAD customer service. Disappointed. Got Crab rangoons, steamed pork dumplings and chicken fried rice. When I placed my order and told them delivery they tried to talk me into picking up (I have a newborn so I really didn’t want to load him up and go anywhere). They were short and rude when I said I wanted delivery for sure, after everything I ordered they said, «is that all?» With tons of attitude. When I hesitated while ordering they said, «do you NOT know what you WANT?!» Sounding super hateful. The food wasn’t good. It took OVER an hour to get it and I do not live far at all. The fried rice was edible, the dumplings were not my cup of tea and I’ve never had any like it ever, the rangoons were ok but WAY too sweet. I give two stars only because I was hungry and the rice wasn’t too bad.

I had a craving for Chinese but I wanted something a little healthy. I ordered steamed veggies with chicken and steamed rice. I was very surprised at how good it was and it was healthy. Score!

I love getting delivery from here! I got the family meal deal tonight and it was delicious! :)

My husband and I live on the far-​east and didnt want to drive too far to eat dinner one night and decided to try this place out. We ordered egg-​drop soups and they were not even luke-​warm, we also ordered the asian fries and it was the only thing we liked. They are served with a creamy sauce that perfectly compliments the fresh (not froezen) sweet potato fries. We also shared the pad-​thai and the only thing good about it was the portion, very large for the price. What makes me never want to go there again though is the bad service. I had to literally get up 4 times to ask for refills, utensils, chilli and napkins. This is a major no-​no and because of this, will never go back. Go up the street and eat at Mei’s kitchen which not only has better service but wayyy tastier food.

Just picked up some takeout: kung pao beef, orange chicken, and shrimp chow mein. Bother meat dishes were slightly spicy and had good flavor. Shrimp chow mein was above average. Overall, not amazing Chinese, but definitely pretty good. My wife and I will be trying out more of their dishes soon! The owner seemed very friendly and the inside was very clean. They also offer free delivery and have family meal deals.

Service is good as well. Rice isn’t anything special but the main dish delivers! Soups are really good. Noodles are decent. They have had a change over of people that work there. I have been gone 2 months. In general don’t drive far the food is good here…

I had come to this place many of times I always give them the benefit of the doubt. I tried ordering from their menu the lady was rude I have had hair in my food nearly every single time. Keep looking for other places this place is terrible.

I ordered Pad Thai togo the other night hoping I was in for a treat. When I got home to eat it, the Pad Thai was floating in oil. I have never seen Pad Thai like that. Not to mention it was completely tasteless. Sorry, but I’m never coming back here again.

I ordered delivery since I was tired of cooking. This place had my husband favoring the chicken egg rolls and pork dumplings over the Pork Lo Mein and Beef and Broccoli which we also ordered.
However, if you are looking for authentic Chinese food, look elsewhere. They don’t have Bok Choy or Galan dishes if you are looking for some green vegetables. But if you are just up for a typical Chinese takeout, you found your place.

This is our go-​to for delivery in our area in the Far East. Delivery never takes long at all. Portions are ridiculously large. Orange chicken, pad Thai, fried rice, and General chicken are great! Wasnt too much of a fan of the honey crispy chicken or sweet and sour but I’m sure others love it.

Pad thai is ok if you’re really really desperate for some semblance of something that tastes like pad thai.

General chicken was amazing. This is the first place I have had it where it’s actually spicy. Pork dumplings were on point as well. The price was very reasonable. We will be back!

Meh not a bad china joint. Food was fresh, but the fried rice is very dry and bland. Hot and soup and wontons soup were pretty good. Probably won’t be back. China 1 is the way to go.
