Well my wife, son and myself came here for breakfast and my wife and i have frequented this place before and always loved it and wanted to share our experience with our oldest so brought him here for pancakes which he loves. We were seated promptly so that was good but they, wait staff, seemed to overlook us so I knew things were going to be bad and they were. We entirely got help once the manager brought it up to the wait staff’s attention. Our order was taken and ok I’m thinking things are getting better but I was so wrong. The plates for to the table and both my son and wife ordered pancakes and they both didn’t like them, said they tasted salty which is no good. I asked for Cholula for my eggs like 3 times and by the time it got to the table my eggs were cold and unedible. Never mind if I was ever asked for a tea refill… not a memorable experience at all…

Had the chicken and dumplings with corn, mash, mac&cheese, and corn bread. Meal was good and brought out hot. Customer service was overbearing at first but level out at the end thanks to Jerry(waiter). Only usually thing was the animal sounds coming out of the cooking area along with workers laughing. It stop toward the end of the meal. Place was clean and well organized. I would for sure eat here again. For 12 bucks, you sure do get a lot and I mean a lot of food. Seem the place lack management, but who knows(i.e. Someone who is in charge).

Wife gave this one a four but I was hesitant. Tonight’s meal, my wife ordered the Campfire Beef. It came sealed in foil and consisted of beef roast, carrots, red potatoes, and onions. She said it as delicious — «tasted homemade like grandma.» I had what I always have — momma’s pancake breakfast which was warm and fresh. I was hesitant in give four stars however. The restaurant is not consistent. There are times when we have come and the food is cold or stale. and the size of the crowd never seems to matter when it’s slow the food is bad when it’s fast the food is good and vice a versa. We will give it four stars but I will re-review next time we come.

Always great for breakfast. Tried dinner and everything was delicious! Best part was not having a wait time(Wednesday afternoon). FYI: You should expect to have long waits on weekends and holidays since there is only ONE of these in El Paso.

When I miss grandma’s cooking, I stop by Cracker Barrel. They’re always close to the interstate and the staff is always friendly. Never had a bad experience. Listening to the conversation at other tables will make you wiser.

This is the second time in a row that I have come to this particular restaurant and my silverware/coffee cup are not clean. They must just throw everything into some cheap dishwasher and not check after that. Management should pay attention. Not coming back.

After waiting 2 ½ hours for breakfast Mother’s Day we were given a nice folding chair to sit in. Menu is limited on holidays according to management to help serve customers faster and shorten wait times. Not sure how that helped with our 2 ½ hour wait. Food was dry and bland. Worst experience at this restaurant. We will not be going back. Only upside was our server, he did a great job and brought us everything we needed quickly.

I thought I would try the breakfast since I didn’t care for anything else I tried off the lunch and dinner menu. Yet again, I was disappointed. Very bland and flavorless food

Told 30 minutes when provided name at front door. We were sorted at minute 50. If the wait is closer to 45 or 60 minutes, they should be honest and say that’s the case! Hope food is worth the wait.

Biscuits and apple butter were amazing, the rest was so salty I couldn’t even finish it. I think they just threw salt at my plate after cooking, just fistfuls of salt just saying«screw it»

I always have a great breakfast here with my family. Strongly recommend it. The breakfast is hard to compare with other places.

Yesterday i took my wife for breakfast and I expected to wait at least 45 min. Given that that it was valentine’s day they told me it was going to take 45 min. So actually it took longer about 1hr 25min I was getting upset and impatient. But I did not want ruin Valentine’s for my wife because she loves eating here. After we sat down to eat out waiter made up for our long wait he acknowledged that he is sorry that we waited so such a long time. His service was excellent on point and brought our meals fast. If it wasn’t for this waiter it would have been a really disappointment. The waiter looked very young somewhere around early 20s, I told him that he did a excellent job and this what he told me, «it’s all about my attitude if it’s great and other’s see it and feel it than I know I did my job» that kid has a future. I would have rated worse but this kid saved the day.

Since this is a chain I’m comparing this visit to other CB visits. I’d say it was busy but I’m not sure I’ve ever been to any CB when it wasn’t busy so that excuse doesn’t fly. It only took 20 minutes to be seated so the initial wait wasn’t bad but then it was over 10 minutes before anyone came to our table and took our drink order. I was seconds away from standing up and flagging someone down when a waiter(not ours) realized what was happening and took our order. We only put up with this because we were traveling but had to get our black eyed peas for New Years(Southerners will understand)!!! The reason I gave the review the extra star was because CB had complimentary black eyed peas. Our permanent waiter had a lot less personality and time but the food was pretty much what you’d expect from this chain. I’m thinking this location just needs to work on its time management.

I’m a big Cracker Barrel fan but today is inexcusable. CB is out of pancakes, WTH? How can you run out of one of the CB staples. Management, you need to look in the mirror and do something different. This is unforgivable for me. I hope I can make it back, Village Inn I’m yours. Ok, CB has redeemed themselves and I’m happy. Someone found the missing pancake mix and balance and harmony is restored. Sorry Village Inn but CB has won me back. V/R Forever Lost

The food was a bit bland the service is always great! I probably won’t be back though because I didn’t care for their food the past few times I’ve been there. The place is always extremely packed and that can be a bit of a downside when you’re hungry or in a hurry. Defiantly like the service thought they always do a great job.

I’m so happy I’ve experienced Cracker Barrel. It’s become one of my favorite restaurants. I don’t think I’ll ever turn an invite to this place down. :) I’ve been deprived of it for years, since living in Hawaii. Anyways this particular CB. Hands down, best customer service. Ever. Our waitress, Tiffany, sweetest and most hilarious waitress. She’s very knowledgeable and quite familiar with the menu. She convinced my friend to try their white chocolate rasberry french toast. Which everyone loved. She checked in with us and made sure our water and coffee was filled. The other waiters and waitresses stopped by and made conversation, checking in on us. They were all smiling and bubbly. I love it. Also, If it’s your bday they offer a free dessert of your choice. But they don’t sing. :(lol. BUT, hey nothing beats free deasert! If you haven’t been here. A must try, at least once. They’re famous for their biscuits with apple butter. Their fried apples sooo delicious. Everything was warm and fresh. I got a Rheuban sandwich with a side of coleslaw and steak fries. Sandwich was so tasty! I actually finished the whole thing! Fries were fresh and huge! Had to take it home. Their Cole slaw was seriously good. A bit runny, but it wasn’t salty or too sweet. You can taste the freshness of the veggies. The atmosphere was calm, but so homey/family feel. Love it. They have a shop next door for some souvenirs or candy. Parking was enough space and it’s connected to other stores around. So feel free to burn off whatever you ate. Lol. Cause trust me, you’ll be full.

One of the best parts about Cracker Barrel is the consistency… this place was different though. The meatloaf was dry, which is sad because it’s usually fairly moist at most cracker barrel’s. Best part was the biscuits seemed fresh out of the oven and the apple butter went well with it.

Well where do I start, I heard so much about this place so I was hyped but I have to be honest it was just ok like an I hop or Denny’s. Breakfast was ok but grits were cold and no flavored creamer why do restaurants do this its 2015 even McDonald’s has French vanilla.

I love Cracker Barrel. Their pancakes are just perfect. I would always visit one when I come to the states from Japan. I’m so happy I can always come here now that I live in the states. So as a serious Cracker Barrel fan, I would say this Cracker Barrel is just standard. Waiting time is extremely long same as other ones. But it doesn’t bother me so much as I really like looking around the store to find good house decors. Just make sure you don’t bring an empty stomach. I usually get mama’s pancakes with fruits sauce with bacons and eggs but this time I tried something new: French toast with berry sauce. I liked it a lot. I’ve come to this chain restaurant so many times but this is the first time I’ve seen this one. This place never fail even for such new menu. Their service is always good too. Servers are usually very nice. That’s another reason why I like coming here. I can’t wait to go back there already to enjoy the classic American breakfast :)
