This gym is great if you’re serious about losing weight and bettering yourself. I completed the 6 week challenge and lost 20lbs. It was not easy but worth it at the end!! The trainers are awesome and push you hard. It may seem hard at first but after the first week of training it gets easier. The workouts are at your own limits so if you have an injury, they can modify it for you. I love the motivation and energy everyone has while working out. I went to work out when it was continent for me after work which was perfect. The classes are small so its basically like having your own personal trainer.

I was just like you reading this… Wondering, questioning and even doubting… looking for another reason to NOT put myself out there. But, What I didn’t realize is that it wasn’t skepticism that was holding me back, it was MY lack of commitment… fortunately, you won’t find that with THIS staff, or entire MOVEMENT for that matter. This was and will continue to be a life changing experience for ANYONE who is willing to put up their dukes and get down and dirty for the sake of their HEALTHANDHAPPINESS. Don’t ask if this program is worth it… Ask yourself if you even have what it takes to JOIN! Step up and show yourself that you’re worth more… With the staff, meal plan, trainers, members and tons of support… THISIS A GOLDMINE for anyone wanting to UPGRADE their life to the next level. I am eternally grateful to THECAMP for giving me the strength to realize I deserve More. #elmonteisthebestcamp #nobias #iloverob

For over ten years I told myself I would lose weight when I mentally was ready to do so. But truth be told, you’re never mentally ready, and instead of losing weight, the weigh slowly creeps higher and higher. I came across this Program through a former boss and colleague that successfully completed the Challenge and managed to maintain their weight by following the Program guidelines far after completing their own challenges.
This has been by far one of the most difficult things to do as I have been a hedonist for years and have had to make a turnaround and learn to discipline myself and eat what my body needs and not what my mind desires. This Program definitely supports you every step of the way. The remainder lies in your own blood, sweat, tears, and discipline. I have always hated exercise, so if I can survive these routines, then anyone can. As the weeks past and the muscle pain lessen, I could definitely feel myself becoming stronger and healthier. Just keep your mind in check, stay positive, and believe in your ability to exceed far greater things than you imagined possible. I’m not going to lie, I found myself doubting myself, crying, and frustrated, but at the end of the day, I put my mind back in check and refocused on what I could do, and not self-sabotage or mentally defeat myself. Here are some of my pros and cons about the Program.
Pros: · The staff is supportive and knowledgeable about kinetics and how to address any injuries with modifications. · You have one to two personal trainers working with the group. They motivate you and push you to try harder that what you mentally and physically think you are capable of doing. · These are classes… a series of circuit trainings involving cardio, weights, and the use of your own body weight. I like the concept behind this because at an ordinary gym, I would have walked on a treadmill for 20 minutes then leave. But here, you are completing the same stations as others but you do it at your own ability. · You are required to check-in every single time you work out. Initially, I didn’t like the idea of doing this, but it holds you accountable to actually working out as you are required to in order to lose the weight and meet your goals. · You are required to put money down prior to beginning. This is an incentive to work your butt off and not slack off. If I put the same amount down elsewhere, I would have worked out one week, and stop going but here I know that when I meet my goal, I am able to roll the money over to the next challenge or to membership. · This is your challenge. You are in competition with yourself… no one else. I love that there is so much diversity in people’s abilities, shapes, and sizes. You don’t feel insecure about working out and find yourself tuning everyone out and only focusing on completing your reps correctly.
Cons: · Extremely limited on what you are able to eat. You must adhere to strict nutritional guidelines which often times seems impossible(yet as much as I hate to say, is doable). · I’m not the most social person. I typically keep to myself. .I let my guard down once I feel comfortable with you. You can’t do that at The Camp. Everyone greets and interacts with one another… there’s no avoiding it for us introverts. But, I guess this is my con… not the Camp’s con. The weekly required weigh ins cause me so much anxiety and stress that I lose sleep the night before stressing about whether or not I lost enough weight(but then again this is once again my con, not the Camps). · I really wish they had showers so I could complete double sessions then head straight to work.

The Camp Transformation Center, El Monte has been nothing but good to me. This is not a typical fancy gym, this is where lives are being transformed. This is my happy place where at the end of the day I leave all the stress and she’d some serious lbs. The trainers are the best, they know what they are doing, every workout I’m left sweaty, leaner and stronger. It’s always a different exercise and you see results by the first week. The nutrition plan is effective, no gimmicks, no tricks, just plain clean eats. I love El Monte camp because we are like a big family. I have bonded with other fellow challengers. This place is a drama free, no bs, no gossip, we all encourage and support one another. Adam, Robert, Sylena, Sonia & the rest of the staff are the best, they will guide each person through their journey and they are available at all times. I highly recommend you the camp if you’re serious about losing weight and transforming into a new person. I lost 25.9 lbs in 6 weeks. There is no way I could have done this on my own. Yes, there is a deposit required.

For the past few years I’ve noticed myself gaining weight. My brothers and sisters kept telling me, especially my sister. I knew but didn’t care because I felt the same as when I was younger, thin and in shape. I’m 27 now and it wasn’t until earlier this year when I really started to feel fat. Most of my clothes were starting to feel too tight and some didn’t fit at all. I tried to lose weight on my own but would only work out and watch my diet for a week or two and then go right back to my old ways. One day on Facebook I saw their ad and liked what I read. Then I saw their website and really liked it. I knew it said«FREE» but me being a realist and old enough to know that nothing is free in this life, still decided to attend their orientation. I’m glad I did! I didn’t care about the money because I knew I would get it back after losing the 20lbs. There was no reason why I couldn’t lose 20lbs plus. I have way more than 20 to lose anyways. The trainers were great, the people there were great. I really enjoyed working out and stayed focus. I lost weight every week except the 3rd week when I gained 2ozs. Just trust the process and FTDI. In total I lost 27.7 lbs. I’m going to do the next challenge in November so you might see me there. I’ll most likely do the next challenge in January too but right now just focusing on this next one. I highly recommend it to anyone looking to lose weight. You’ll have more energy, feel good about yourself and get to meet great people.

I try not to get emotional about businesses but the same can’t be said about how much the Camp Transformation Center in El Monte means to me. Getting fit and staying fit has always been a problem for me. Sure, I had that gym membership but the motivation to stick with it was always fleeting. I could come up with every excuse in the book to get out of going to the gym. Then I saw the ads popping up on Facebook about The Camp. Soon enough, I signed up and found a fitness home in the El Monte location. It was there that I met a very supportive crew of trainers and staff, and like-minded individuals who were just fed up with making excuses and decided we needed to do something about our«happy» weight. The Camp El Monte provided a motivational environment with challenging workouts. None of the trainers will allow you to give up. Not on the exercises, not on our diet and most definitely not on ourselves. It’s true what The Camp promises — it’s a lifestyle change. You will not regret your decision to join!

I was very skeptical when I first saw the post on Facebook advertising the transformation camp. But if definitely caught my attention so I decided to attend the orientation meeting and see what it was all about. After attending the meeting i told myself this is what I have been looking for to help me loose weight and reach my goal. So i decided to do the 6 week challenge(20 in 42). The first week at the gym was the hardest along with the diet i was told to follow. However at the end of the first week when I went in for my weigh in and saw how much I had lost. That gave me the extra push I needed to continue with the challenge. I lost a total of 26 lbs. All of the staff and all my classmates were awesome. The staff is very knowledgeable for those of you with previous injuries, the staff know how to modify the workout to avoid recurring injuries. The challengers encouraged each other every day to keep going forward. All the challengers had a common goal, and that was to lose weight. We became like family. I am very grateful for the opportunity to do this 6 week challenge and thanks to the Transformation Camp I feel better than I have for the past several years. I would definitely recommend this challenge to anyone who wishes to loose weight. The Transformation Camp will provide you with the tools needed for an individual to meet his or her goal. All you need is determination, commitment and hard work. And yes, they require a deposit which also helps to keep you motivated to meet your weight goal.
