I like this place very much! Fresh every thing and taste good. The price is reasonable. The service is excellent! Since I need pump for half an hour, the workers here work overtime just do the service for me. Thank you so much! Definitely come back!

I stopped by here today because it’s right around the corner from my work. I had serious doubts about this place because of the reviews, but my experience here was nothing but lovely. There was definitely a language barrier — nice as the man who greeted, seated, and served us was, there’s only so much you can do when you don’t understand each other. Thankfully, the way everything is set up here, there isn’t much communication between us necessary. After an exchange of awkward smiles and«I-don’t-know-what-you’re-saying» type of stares, we had our broths and were ready to go! There’s a revolving counter where most people sit at, and a few booths on the side for the larger parties/families. There’s also a sauce table in the corner with a variety of sauces(~5−6) and chili oil(my favorite!!!). The sauces weren’t much to my liking personally(sesame sauce tasted like peanuts), but I can imagine it would suit another’s tastes. This didn’t matter much to me anyway because my broth was so bangin’ and flavorful, that I didn’t need any dipping sauces. I was impressed with how quickly the revolving counter was restocked. Grab a Pepsi? Watch it be replaced the next time it comes around. I was thoroughly entertained watching the girl in the kitchen rapidly restocking things as they came around. «The ice is coming! Oh! She missed it– nevermind she restocked it in time!» The table moves pretty fast, so it was a struggle to get food at first, but that also means it comes back around pretty quickly. It’s funny trying to time things and plan out your meal, because if you want the«tofu» — you won’t be able to get the«fish balls» that are right next to it in the same rotation. All in all, despite the language barrier, the man who helped us was very nice, welcoming, and sweet. And for a $ 15AYCE lunch(including drinks) — I was overly impressed with the quality of food. I left pleasantly full, and recharged for the rest of my shift. ++ PS they have stamp cards — 10 meals = free meal(what!!!)

Overall experience was okay! Not too bad, but definitely think there is better Hot Pots around. My boyfriend and I were in the area and Unilocaled the closest Hot Pot. We knew it had less than 4 stars but thought we’d try it anyways, we never heard of a conveyor belt service for hot pots haha. The both seemed a little watered down, but I added a ton of chili oil and greens to give it some flavor. The noodles and such were all okay. Again nothing overly great about the food or utterly disgusting. If you’re looking for a new experience, I’d try it out. I would say that you’ll leave only coming back if your friend really wanted to go. I left more so with the desire to try another place out but for the area we were in, this place wasn’t too bad for being convenient. Good luck, hot pot critics!

Went out to lunch and was craving some ayce shabu. Saw this place on Unilocal and said«why not?» Hot pot buffet is a small local gem tucked away in a plaza that looks like it doesn’t belong. As you walk in you notice a conveyor belt with food rotating around. The very nice hostess and waitress seats you and asks you to choose a broth. Each seat is equipped with its own individual hotpot so its very personal. Thumbs up for no sharing. You are able to control the temperature with a small dial on the side. The food goes around on the belt and you grab whatever you want with your designated«food grabber» tongs. The kind lady tells you to pick one to avoid contamination. There are a variety of different things from meat to seafood to mushrooms of all sorts to tofu. All the goodies are delicious. And bc its ayce, its never ending. They also have a great selection of sauces to accompany your meal. The only downside is that they do not have rice, only noodles. I would enjoy a nice bowl of white rice with my meal. Also the broths are not too flavorful so be careful. Im used to shabu broths flavoring the food but these broths just gave it a little saltiness and thats all. Hot pot buffet is a self service eateary. For $ 16 at lunch I am not upset bc i left full and satisfied. Hopefully today was a slow day bc it was just my party of 3 and another couple. I really do hope this place survives bc it definitely fulfilled my craving for hotpot.

Hmmm … a very interesting concept(all-you-can-eat hot pot with conveyor belt) with limited meat /veggie selections. $ 19.99 for dinner hot pot buffet and $ 14.99 for lunch hot pot buffet. *Disclaimer* I can see why I would give 1-star here … two words: non-existing service. Hey, it is not like you need any service here because conveyor belt acts as the main gateway to transport and deliver meats /vegetables /beverages. Another reason why I would give 1-star: POSSIBLE cross contamination. You’re supposed to use tong to grab food on the conveyor belt, but I could see someone would use their chopsticks instead of tong. In addition, server did speak very limited English. *End of disclaimer* . Our group came here for dinner around 7PM and the entire restaurant was absolutely empty(yup … we were the 1st group of customers for the night). There are four different broths to choose from(Sichuan — spicy, Little sheep — lamb, chicken soup, and kimchi). Sauce station have eight different options(leek sauce, green onion, chili oil, shacha sauce, bean curd, shrimp sauce, sesame sauce, and garlic). You just tell the staff what meat you want and you’ll find your meat on the conveyor belt. Steel metal container is used for trash and you can adjust temperature of heater yourself(level 2 or 3 to maintain temperature, level 5 to quickly heat up your broth) ****The good*** — I had little sheep broth and broth was actually pretty decent. — I liked barley tea. — You will pretty much find all the basic hot pot toppings here(e.g. shrimp balls, spam, mushroom, tofu skin, corn, wood-ear, fish balls, bok choy, tofu, imitation crab, shrimps, bamboo shoots). ***The bad*** — I think sauces were terrible(shrimp sauce was salty) … the only one I liked was garlic. — You will have to wait 3~5 minutes before items you want on the conveyor belt to come back again. — Comparing with Little Sheep Mongolian Hot Pot, this place has somewhat limited meat /veggie options(e.g. only one type of mushroom). — Only 18 seats at conveyor belt section with 3 additional tables. Once you’ve finished your meal, just ring the bell and get your receipt. This place also accepts credit card(with tips calculated on the bottom of receipt)! Not a huge fan of conveyor belt style hot pot. If you are looking for a quick AYCE hot pot without break the bank, I wouldn’t discourage anyone to try this place. Just remember that there are better hot pot quality /options in the 626(San Gabriel Valley) area.

For 25 bucks after tax and tip, I really enjoy this new conveyor belt hot pot concept, it allows for the simplicity of eating what you want, ayce style and how you want to eat your hot pot. Imagine jazzcat, but ayce! When our party of 3 came in at 6 o’clock on a sunday night into an empty restaurant, I was a bit hesitant to sit down. However, after listening to the server with his broken english trying so hard to explain the menu to me, I was moved to stay(haha, see what i did there) I decided to try it out. You get to choose what kind of broth you want, sichuan(spicy), little sheep(spicy/nonspicy), kimchi and plain i believe. I really enjoyed my sichuan broth however, I want to try the spicy version of little lamb next time when I come back. They also ask you what type of meat you want on your conveyor belt. The choices are beef, lamb and chicken. Ofcourse, our party opt’d for beef and lamb. There’s unlimited pitchers of water with lemon, wintermelon tea and barley tea on the belt as well as canned soda. It’s all you can drink too! The sauce station is at the corner of the room, mix your own delectable potion of sauce at your own risk. My only grip is that for a hot pot place, there’s no ponzu sauce, I guess this is a chinese hot pot place afterall. Service is non-existent after you sit down and choice your meats/broth. It comes in a small personal size pot and you have special utensils on a pitcher next to you. The big slotted tong is for grabbing things off the belt and the small non-slotted tong is for fruits at the end. I understand why you’d want to separate them due to cross-contamination however, what is the point when you end up placing these different tongs into the same pitcher lol. If you ever need service from the server, quietly and gently tap the bell that’s set in between the conveyor belt and voila, a magical genie appears to give you your check. Happy feasting! Oh yeah, eventually, there were 4 other parties that came in after us. so it was not as awkward, however, dining by yourself in a small restaurant does give you a sense of kingship you will not find anywhere else.

The conveyer belt is a cool idea for hotpot! It includes spinach, cabbage, lamb, beef, fish tofu, fish balls, enoki, mushrooms, tofu, and more! I can only name like a third from the top of my head. Unlimited sauce and drinks(winter melon tea, soda, black tea, and water) too. I can’t remember what soups there are, but I like the Sichuan soup! It’s my favorite. Service is okay. I’ve been here 3 times in the past 2 months and I always only see one man working as a server. His english is not very fluent, but I’m sure he will understand you and you will understand him. The place is small enough for one person to manage, but I don’t think it would hurt to hire another server for back up. Dinner AYCE is $ 20 and that’s pretty decent priced for the variety of choices there are. Seating at the conveyer belt is limited so don’t expect to be seated if you bring a big family for a feast there! Maybe a party of 4 – 5 people would be the most convenient.

Came here on a Saturday night with my boyfriend and dad. Luckily we got there when it wasn’t too packed. Be aware that this food belt style table probably holds like 15 people. They also have 3 – 4 booths across from it. We walked in and it looked s little dead, but more people came as we were eating. Walked in and host/server was kind of slow. He seemed a bit confused, I’m just going to assume it’s because of a language barrier. He sat us at the end of the belt, and we asked him if we could sit at the front where everything comes out fresh. He was kind enough to let me have my way. Lol We sat down ordered some soups. I ordered the chicken which was bland. Awful. I had to mix so many spices and sauces to it to give it just any hint of flavor. I even took some of my bf’s soup and mixed it with mine. He got the first soup, I forgot what it was called but it was extra spicy and he said it was delicious. All the food on belt was pretty much fresh. Everything was pretty good for its price. Only bad thing I didn’t like about this place is that they don’t have enough meat options, and that they don’t serve rice

I thought their idea was great but it was poorly executed and I was extremely regretful after 5 minutes of being there. The food was very limited. Only one plate per item. So imagine you have to share a plate of meat with 10 people. There was no pork or chicken. They only have beef and lamb. To make matter worse we sat at the very end of the conveyor belt. So by the time the meat plate got to us it was empty. I asked if I can just have a plate for myself and the waiter said no. It’s all you can eat but that was false advertisement. They also took at least 15 minutes to refill the water pitcher. The restaurant itself is small and a bit dirty. My cup was dirty and there was a thick layer of dust on the glass above the conveyor belt. Also, there was a guy using his chopstick for everything. He didn’t use the tongs provided and no one said anything to him. I noticed a lot people were disgusted by that and didn’t eat whatever plates he touched. Service was lacking in many ways. The waiter didn’t speak much English and it was quite hard to understand him or request anything. He never once came to check on us throughout our meal and our soup was never refill. It was a Saturday night so they should have at least 2 waiters. Overall, it was a waste of money and I will never come back here again. Biggest disappointment!

Whoa! AYCEHOTPOT! Cool! Though I personally thought the broth was a-okay but the conveyer belt concept is pretty darn cool that I have to give it an extra star. My friends and I are considered to be connoisseurs in the category of hotpot if there’s such a thing. So we will try to go to every Hotpot place in SGV and find the BEST one to share with our group of friends & also because we love hotpot– especially during Winter time! Haha. So! Hot Pot Buffet in general is pretty decent but I find their broth to be kind of bland, well there’s some spice but I felt like it’s more watered down and spices– that’s about it. I ordered the Sichuan broth. They have a wide selection of hotpot food items. Lamb, quail eggs, beef, different types of tofu, chinese donut(how funny), fishballs, shrimp balls, lots of vegetables(napa, spinach, etc), spam(that’s cool too), bean curd skin, enoki, taro blocks, squash, etc. They just kept coming! So! You don’t take the entire plate on the conveyer belt like how you would for sushi. You just use your tongs that are provided and get them individually. I guess that’s less dishes for them to wash, you won’t have to eat an entire plate of whatever you decided to pick out, and you get to try almost everything on the belt. Such a cool concept for hotpot, that’s really something new that we don’t have around the SGV area. We each get a tiny individual pot and we just throw everything in and devour it! They also have a sauce booth where you get your sauces. I guess their sauces were only a-okay but they do have a wide range of different sauce you can mix. It’s inside a plaza that’s not really lit up brightly, but you won’t be able to miss this place since their sign is bright yellow and the words are in red. The server is nice, however, limited English. 19 bucks or 20 something including tips and tax, not bad! They close early though, at 9 pm.

They have a couple broths(4) to choose from. I chose the first one, extra spicy! yumm yummm yummm Definitely will be coming back and bringing lots of friends so I won’t be a fattie alone. I was nervous walking into this place. I mean it is a Tuesday night at 730pm and we drove into an empty parking lot. The waiter was standing outside and walked in as he noticed us parking. And yes we were the only customers when we walked in. Not a good sign at all. The concept: You sit in the center in front of rotating conveyors. Much like sushi you pick what you want, but with tongs instead of the taking the plate. If you like a particular meat, request for it from the wait staff so they can fill the belt with the meat. Oh btw it is all you can eat and drink so everything on the belt is included. Food: Pick your broth(I chose the little sheep broth) and shabu away! Broth was good. Meat was above average in quality. Fix your own sauces. Service: One waiter and a guy inside the kitchen refilling the belt with food. Waiter was inside the kitchen helping most of the time. Perhaps they can use another body in here. Environment: I like the concept. This place does lack music or some sort of noise. It was so quiet in here I didn’t feel comfortable speaking out loud. Price: $ 20 is pricier than many of its competitors most notably A&J, but the concept is much better and the service is light years better. Business picked up and almost every seat in the conveyor area was filled by the time we were ready to leave. Food: 4 Service: 4 Environment: 5 Price: 3

Heck yes! ~ALLYOUCANEATHOTPOT for $ 20? Sign me up! Accidentally found Hot Pot Buffet via Unilocal, and I am thankful that I did! As you can tell from the photos, everything is on the conveyer belt(Including water, ice, soda, etc). There’s also a DIY dipping sauce station on the side… Where you can create your favorite sauce. PRO: — HPB is the perfect place if you want to have hot pot with little/no human interaction. — There are four types of broth. I recommend the little lamb broth. The chicken broth is pretty plain. — They have pretty good tasting lamb. — You get your own individual hot pot. — There are tons of plates and bowls and napkins at your convenience. — There’s a big variety of mushrooms, tofu, and veggies! CONS: — You have to order meat via the waiter. It may be challenging to flag the waiter, but the thin uncooked meat slices come out pretty fast. — If you miss your item on the conveyer belt, then you have to wait for the conveyer belt to go into a big loop again. — Limited Seating. I’m guessing it would also suck if you sit near the end of the belt. I would recommend this place if you’re not rushing and you’re feelin’ hot pot. The belt can feel pretty slow when you’re hungry, which makes it easier for you to pace yourself. In addition, HPB gives you a personal tong. specifically to grab items from the conveyer belt. I don’t think you’re supposed to grab the WHOLE plate. This can be a sanitation concern, but whatever. $ 20AYCE dinners, $ 15AYCE lunch. Credit cards accepted!

I’m pretty impressed being that this place is located in El Monte. Don’t judge a book by it’s cover because the name of this place and the exterior of the restaurant doesn’t look too promising. For $ 20 plus tax, you get to choose a broth and get AYCE meat, veggies, noodles, etc. Drinks are also included on this! Their tea was SOGOOD! i drank soooo many cups of it haha. The best part, EVERYTHINGISON A CONVEYORBELT! I can’t forget to mention that because it’s the one thing that really distinguishes this place from the others and honestly it’s what drew me to try this place. There is, of course, a sauce bar with satay, garlic, fermented beans, shrimp paste, and all the other typical things. Foods pretty good and the place is pretty clean. I personally like this place better than some of the other AYCE hot pots in the area and really do hope it stays around!

This place is okay-good. Services– AYCE is on the revolving belt which includes shrimp, fish ball, veggies, frog, flour noodles, and bread/snacks and sometimes fruit for dessert. They bring meat to you when you ask. You also choose 1 base soup out of 4. They are kind of slow because their isn’t much need for them unless you need soup, meat, or cashier. So they don’t pay much attention and they aren’t many workers, because they don’t need many. Food– The variety was good, but meat was sliced very thin. It was okay and the server was so quiet/timid, don’t know English. They had small variety of each: seafood, meat, veggies, noodle, sauces… but they should refill their drinks more frequently on the revolving belt, or do the drinks from waiter.(suggestion) Would I come back? Not really. The place is small and the TV was the only thing playing. Even if the revolving belt was surrounded by customers, outside parking lot seemed empty. We didn’t want to go in at first because it was so dead. The environment did not give us a good vibe. We couldn’t really talk because people were quiet and close. No one was talking. It was just awkward to eat with people there.

Its alright. Not bad for a new and small place. $ 20 a person for dinner time. Im being very honest. The soup broth lacks taste compared to all other hot pot places. Probably only about 15 seats. Its like a sushi belt that rotates across the table. You use tongs to grab the food. It rotates sodas and snacks also in the belt. Very cool concept but if you need something or to place another order of meat, the worker takes a while because hes also the cashier and stays in the kitchen most of the time. Hot pot broths: Szechuan(has little flavor) we had to ask for more spicy. Little sheep Chicken broth Kimchi(almost no flavor, mostly cabbage) The service: its okay. I was out of spinach. I point to my one spinach scrap and ask the guy nicely for more, but there was a miscommunication. He threw away my one piece of spinach and never put a new one out lol. He was nice though. I feel bad. We got a $ 5 off coupon for our next visit. Thanks!

Yay! A new hotpot place in 626 :) I love how it’s a conveyer belt and you don’t have to finish the entire plate. Just get what you can and if you can’t finish the plate then just put it back on the conveyer belt. The best thing about this restaurant is their variety of food! It’s fresh as well! Their veggies looked nicely cleaned before they came out :) The list is too long to name all the kinds of things they have, you just have to go there and find out! The price also includes drinks like wintermelon tea and soda, and a variety of desserts like watermelon, grapes and red bean cake. The fruits were super sweet and juicy! I got the spicy soup(I forgot what it was called but it’s the first selection out of the 4 soups they have). The spicy soup was delicious !!! Not bland at all and had lots of flavor ! My boyfriend got the chicken soup which was really bland so he had to add salt pepper and a bunch of other sauces so it had flavor ! But forsure just get the spicy one lol the other two selection for soups they had are kimchi and little sheep soup. Their sauce selection is big too compared to other hotpot places, you can just go up and get it yourself! That’s what I also like about this place, you don’t need a waiter to stand outside to bring you a bunch of things. Drinks and stuff are already on the conveyer belt so whenever it comes just pour yourself as much as you want! Their service is really good too! The man was really nice and whenever I wanted more soup, rice or even an item they didn’t have on the conveyer belt, he got it for us ! Weekdays for lunch is $ 15!(Def worth it) Dinner and weekends is $ 20! Right now there’s not a lot of people going which is good because I hate crowded places !

Conveyer belt AYCE hot pot. $ 14.99 lunch(weekdays). $ 19.99 dinner and weekends. Includes seafood and unlimited canned soda(Coke, caffeine free diet Coke, Sprite). There’s a sign outside in Chinese about some $ 1.25 upgrade. Not sure what that’s about, as I can’t read it. They didn’t explain and we didn’t ask. Luckily a return customer was there to explain to our group how this place worked once she saw our confused faces. It’s not completely intuitive, okay?! You use the tongs to grab stuff directly off the plates on the conveyer belt. I mean, your group can take the whole plate if you’re going to finish it, I guess. Drinks(water, tea, soda) and even ice are also on there. You order your meat from the server(beef, chicken, lamb), but vegetables, seafood, noodles, spam, and fruit are all on the belt. Everyone has their own mini pot(cute!) in front of them with their broth of choice(Sichuan, little sheep, chicken soup, kimchi). There’s also a sauce bar on the corner. The only drawback to this set up is if you remove something to serve yourself, such as the pitcher of water, you have to wait for an open spot to put it back on the belt. Sometimes you get lucky, sometimes you have to wait the full belt rotation. It’s not that long, but you’re awkwardly hogging the item in your hand while waiting. It’d be cool if they had some more dessert options such as pudding, but the standard watermelon and orange slices are good enough. I really liked my little sheep broth. The meat quality is what you’d expect, which is still decent. $ 20 is still a bit much for me, but if you can get in on the $ 15 weekday lunch price, it’d be great. Normally we spend roughly $ 20/person at a non-AYCE place for higher quality stuff, but I still think this place is worth trying. Place is surprisingly clean. One unisex private bathroom. I got a $ 5 off $ 50+ for my next visit with my group’s check. I hope they get more business and do well.

This place is worth trying. Soup flavors are good. I had the chicken broth and my husband had the little sheep broth. The selection of meat was limited, but they where good cuts. They had good sized shrimp and lots of the other balls. Soda is part of the buffet price . They have a lot of dipping sauce. Service was nice, friendly and efficient. We came weekday lunch time.
