We were just driving down valley one day and decided to go into Ray Ray’s not knowing what type of food they served. The place was very clean and well organized. I ordered the popcorn chicken and my wife got a thick noodle dish. They were both very good and the protions were enough for us to share. I would go here again, there tea list is amazing and they were very delicious. Even if you do not want to eat they are perfect just to come in and have a nice cold beverage: boba tea, thai tea, green jasamine tea you name it they have it.

Came here for lunch With a few people and the J Pop corn chicken was dry and tough and we left most of it on the plate and turned down the offer to box it to go, the eel friend rice was decent, and the chicken Wellington was decent but very heavy, left feeling uncomfortable, drinks were decent that came with the meal but had tons of ice

Whenever i come home i always have to stop by Ray Rays. I remembered when this place just opened and has slowly developed into a really nice café. The special drinks here are the best and i really like the dougie special drink. The food here is pretty good as well but i mostly come to just hangout with hometown friends.

Came here after s car meet down the street to grab a boba drink. And sorry to said its kinda slow on the service. Btw it’s not that many people in the restaurant at the time. But the customer service is good so I’m okay with it so it cover up the dislike part.

This place was amazing! The food was absolutely delicious and the service was great. I had the Chicken Wellington from the special menu. You get the main course(choose between garlic, mushroom, or black pepper sauce), a side of rice or pasta, a 12 oz black/green/milk tea(which is like a big mug), and soup with crackers for $ 9.99 + tax. It was probably one of the best things I’ve eaten in the past few months, and I couldn’t even finish the whole thing(big portions). There are a bunch of TVs around the restaurant, and the ambiance is nice. My only complaint is that the next door building, which is a badminton league, is visible through an opening inside the restaurant.

The boba here is one of the best in the 626. Aside from having drinks, this place also serves food and they have the best Indonesian fried rice! This is also a good study spot with a very nice and chill environment.

Your typical Asian café, it is filled with an array of menu items. Ranging from sandwiches, Eastern style cuisine, desserts and of course boba drinks. The drinks there are also very sweet, and I am known to have quite the sweet tooth. I’m not a fan of tea, but my go to are the drinks there are: the hybrid, big daddy, and the hot mama. One of my favorite dishes there, is the baked Bolognese. You have to make sure you have time for it though, because it takes roughly about 20 to 30 minutes to prepare. It’s sweeter than normal spaghetti and even though it’s baked, it’s as if that layer of cheese and sauce is protecting the noodles from becoming hard during the baking process. I’ve tried their eel fried rice, which was also pretty good. I wish there was more eel, but it still had plenty of flavor! The popcorn chicken here didn’t taste as good as others I’ve tried elsewhere. I felt that it lacked chicken… And was mostly bread. They also have some games you can borrow like monopoly go, Jenga and connect four!

Only been here twice but both times were impressive. My mom usually is very picky and she immediately loved it here. We ordered small but we ended up super full. Great atmosphere, great music, and great food! Totally recommend the Passion Fruit Black Tea, it’s sickening(in a good way). Beef chow mein is by far my favorite!

Parking– wish for a bigger parking area. If the badminton place is having a tournament we are basically doomed. It’s easier to carpool here if you are coming during a high peak in time. Environment– great place to catch up with friends for lunch and dinner, studying or just hanging out in favorite part is that they aren’t too loud so studying is great. Free wifi and by the benches they have outlets for people to charge up. Customer service is quite on point from greeting, to ordering to getting checks. this past Sunday they had a technical difficulties with giving receipts and opening the cash register. Hey went around telling everyone and was really nice about it too. Apologizing for the inconvenience too. Drinks– tea and smoothies are hella good. I always get cookies and cream smoothie, almond milk tea or passion fruit black tea. Great portion size too. Tip– come early for parking spots and outlet spots

The dinner specials are so worth it! I got the steak and eggs and my boyfriend got the chicken wellington. Both items were on the dinner special menu so it came with soup and a free drink — your choice of milk tea, black tea, or green tea. If you want to get another drink, you have the option to upgrade it for extra $$$. My steak and eggs were alright. The steak was the size of Texas on a map, but this ain’t no $ 50 Ruth Chris, you pay for what you get. On the other hand, my bf got the chicken wellington and it was bombdiggity! The house made dough that wraps around the marinated chicken is so perfectly crafted and soft. I wished they only sold me the outside because I can eat it for days. Both dishes also came with a side of spaghetti which we didn’t even touch because the main course was so filling. We packed it to go and ate it the next day for lunch. My favorite drink here is definitely the hazelnut milk tea with boba! Super bomb!

Much better service than a lot of HK style cafés I have been to. Their food is the usual HK fare, so I didn’t expect high quality filet mignon or anything(I’d disagree with the other review… if the steak isn’t more than $ 13, don’t expect high quality ribeye. you don’t come here for that!). The best thing here are their drinks and ambience. It’s quiet enough to study or chill, but never dead. I have only come for dinner, so far so good. The mango smoothie tastes like a fresh creamsicle – yum! Definitely my to-go spot for takeout and late night cravings. They always use fresh fruit for their drinks, which I love compared to other Boba spots. My husband got Japanese beef bowl which was good, and my white cream baked pasta was also good. If you’re looking for good customer service and HK style Asian fusion food, this is it.

Very dissatisfied my visit, came to order drinks Togo. It wad my first and last visit. The workers are very slow. I was the second customer in line and to took 15 minutes for them to make my drinks and even when it was done they just left it on the counter. They didn’t tell me it was done… Terrible service and the drinks were must okay, I got the big daddy since my friend recommended it but it was watered down

I came here for lunch with my coworkers and I ordered one of Ray Ray’s Lunch Specials, which was the Eel Fried Rice, which comes with your choice is Green/Black/Milk Tea for only $ 7.75. Although my usual go to is Indonesian Fried Rice, I decided to be brave and order something else besides the Indonesian Fried Rice, so I ordered the Eel Fried Rice and who can resist such a good deal, a low price of $ 7.75 thats a steal. As soon as I got back to work, my stomach started making a weird noise and had an uneasy feeling. I was praying to god that I didn’t have food poisoning. I went to the bathroom a few times within the last few hours of work and I am positive that I have food poisoning but the extent, I hope its not a super intensive level of food poisoning. As I am still typing this review, my stomach is making weird movements. I will definitely stick to my Indonesian Fried Rice in the future and likely it will be without Shrimp(even those their shrimps are massive), but after this experience I am unsure if I will be returning as often as I used to.

Its study time!!! Need a place to study, or hang out with friends on your laptops. What about grab a drink and chill. RAYRAY is where its at. Unlike other tea lounges R2 has pretty much a full menu. I came here on a monday afternoon expecting alot more people but it was nice. I was able to get seated right away and ordered the Filet Migon Wellington. It is something different. Will i get it again? Probably not. Do get all the little snacks though. Like popcorn chicken, fries, chicken wings. Those are bomb!!! Service here is great! Jason was our server and was able to provide answers to any questions we had. Thanks Jason!!!

There are so many reasons to love this place! I first tried Ray Ray’s because they offered a Groupon deal when they first opened. And I got hooked. They not only have delicious traditional boba drinks like Jasmine Milk Tea, but they also do original drinks really well! Although it’s their most popular drink, I only tried The Dougie(peach black tea with strawberry bits) for the first time last night. I guess you can say I’m a creature of habit and like to stick to what I know I love. I was definitely feeling brave and adventurous last night. But I have no regrets. It was an absolutely perfect drink — –The tea was not too light, and not too strong –The sweetness didn’t overwhelm the natural flavor of the tea –You get the nice tartness from the strawberry bits Besides their drinks, you can also find me ordering their rib eye steak with spaghetti. They season the steak very well and it’s always juicy! I’m a sucker for any steaks with a little bit of rosemary. Yum! Last but not least, their service is amazing! From my experience, the servers are always very attentive and get things right the first time. I definitely recommend checking Ray Ray’s out if you haven’t.

I am not a regular when it comes to giving low ratings unless my experience is memorably unsatisfied. I came here around 11:20p.m. on a Saturday night to meet up with my brother and his friends for a late night snack and get together. When I got there, I asked for a menu and settled on getting the ice jasmine green tea. I walked up to a server standing in the middle of the restaurant and asked if I could put in that order, but he said«Sorry, but we ran out of green tea.» So I went back to my seat, looked through the menu to see what else I could order that doesn’t have green tea in it. After several minutes, I walked to the register where a female worker helped me. I asked her if I could still order a jasmine green tea because there was nothing else I craved. She said«sure.» So I asked, «I heard you ran out of green tea though, so you still have it?» And she said to me, «Yeah, we just made a new batch. I paid, and went back to my seat. Little by little, my brother and his friends received their orders. It wasn’t surprising to me since they ordered before me. Around 11:40p.m., my drink has still not arrived. Around 11:45p.m., a rush of high schoolers came in to order their drinks to go. By 11:48p.m., I walked up to the register and asked the male who was working behind to counter if my drink was ready yet. The guy working had no clue what I was talking about and waved over another staff. I explained that I ordered my drink about 20 minutes ago and I still haven’t received it. The staff walked over to the other side of my counter and found my drink receipt. He said they made it but brought it to the wrong table and apologized. Shortly after, my drink was brought over to me. It is understandable that it takes time to make drinks especially when crowds of people come in, but I put in my order first and I was waiting there for quite some time. I was a bit disappointed my drink floated off to another table and I had to wait more than the average wait time of at most 10 minutes to arrive to me on a night that isn’t so busy when I initially ordered. Service: Mediocre. The staff are all generally nice and helpful. I just wished they didn’t mess up on the drink or else they would’ve received a better rating and review from me. Food: I only ordered the Jasmine Green Tea with less sugar and I was satisfied with it. Price: Around $ 3+ Parking: They have a shared lot but plenty of parking. Venue: Pretty large and seems like a great place for studying.

I’m a fan of the baked chicken pasta and Indo fried rice! I’ve come here a good amount of times mainly for the food and also occasionally drinks. The store opening and closing hours, when they’re open, is convenient and the place is spacious enough for a bigger party or studying. I’ve only tried about 3 types of mixed teas they offer and it was pretty good each time– nothing to complain about. The food is about the same whichever menu item I choose there’s nothing to complain about as well. The service and wait time for food can be slow even when the place is almost empty so that is definitely what holds me back from giving R2 a 5-star review. On some visits they have forgotten to give me utensils, water or refill my water during my entire meal. But if you just wave when an employee spots you they do try to come over quickly and help you out. Definitely better service when Calvin(I believe he’s the manager) is around. I do like this place and the food so I’ll definitely be back!

I tried the $ 3.95 Dougie with boba($ 0.50 extra) —(peach tea with strawberry bits) as recommended by Raymond Y., the owner when I had reviewed The Green Monster over at Ray Ray Express in Arcadia. I saw this place on my way to visit my Mom and picked boba over Baskin Robbins instead :) The Dougie is a mixture of sweet and tangy when combined with strawberry bits. It was perfect warm weather drink. I like the chewy boba and the girl making my drink put in a good amount. Though she also added too much ice and so I ended drinking up more of my peach tea and had to pour some soymilk once I got home to melt the ice so that I can fish out the rest of the boba and strawberry bits. Overall, it was a pretty good drink though I still like the Green Monster more. Nice place to hang out and study or eat and talk with friends and family. Ample parking spots and strong wifi. The girls working there were friendly and directed me either to the to go cashier or to a table based on what I wanted as entering. Will definitely try out the food there next time.

R2R has been around for years, located on Valley Blvd and Arden. They are open late and are open most holidays. There is another location on Huntington Drive but I always seem to forget it. All the businesses occupy the same parking spots but have gotten better without the car meets. Spots are limited but I usually don’t have a problem finding one. Be careful where you park, there are some spots that belong to some businesses and will tow. My favorite is kumquat honey green tea! Tried so many but this drink sets itself apart then others. Food is pretty tasty from most of the food, plus check-in gives you an $ 1 off appetizer. Don’t forget desserts! =) Great and friendly service each time we come, whether it’s day or night. The tables by the wall have outlets for all your electronic needs, just ask and they will help. They have five star program, get points for drinks electronically.
