One of the best Thai restaurant’s in El Cajon. The dining area is quaint and cozy which is perfect for a date. They have a cult fallowing so you might wait for a table to open up. Overall the food is the perfect balance between spice/flavor/freshness !!!

We come here often and it gets better and better everyday. I always get the Pad Thai no matter what. If you like it spicy ask for level 5 and it will be more than enough fire. Also their curry sauces are AMAZING! Great staff.

Great thai food! I was looking for a decent spot after flying planes at Gillespie airport and this place met my expectations. Good friendly service and decent pad thai!

Called in a to-go order and it was quick and fast. The inside looked cute and tiny. I ordered thai noodles and they were really good and very generous with the amount. Will definitely be coming back!

Just had their green curry with chicken and added eggplant for $ 1. And finally tried Pad See Ew with shrimp(so juicy), calamari(so tender), mussels(so meaty) and melt in your mouth scallops. BF and I actually prefer their version of noodles than Bahn Thai.

This has been our favorite Thai place for years! Started out eating lunch at the location on Midway in Pt. Loma(now closed), then found this little gem closer to our home. We’ve tried a few other Thai places but nothing comes close to this one! We always order to go and we’re never disappointed. A bit pricey(around $ 12 an entrée) but they FILL those to-go containers! A lot of their entrees can be divided into 2 meals if you’re not famished(or obsessed with their spicy noodles, like my hubby is). Service is fast — we usually place our order as we’re getting in the car for the 10 minute drive down and it’s ready when we arrive. They are friendly and attentive. Highly recommend!

Excellent place to satisfy your Thai cravings. It’s located in a small trip mall, but once you walk inside you forget where you are. Very clean inside, GREAT service, and really tasty food. Started with the fried spring rolls which came with a light sweet and sour sauce. They were very good. Tried the spicy noodles with chicken and the mixed vegetables. Both were hot, fresh, and delicious. Very good Thai tea as well. Will definitely be back.

This place is delicious!!! This was our(daughter and I) first time here, and we will be back! We tried the tofu spring rolls, fish cakes and seafood fried rice. My daughter also had the Thai tea with boba. It was all absolutely great, we enjoyed everything we tried. I definitely would recommend you give this place a try. Yummmm!!!

I work a block away from Thai Time, so I’ve gotten the lunch special quite a few times. The food is always good and has a fair mix of veggies and meat. The salad is just boring and sad looking and the staff can be rude. The lady who works the phone has frequently been unpleasant. I would recommend Thai Time for some speedy and affordable takeout

This place is my absolute favorite Thai place in SD! Every time I’m craving Thai food, we hit up this food. Everyone is super friendly and attentive. The drunken noodles are aaammaazing, as is the pad Thai, panang curry, and tom yum soup. You really can’t do no wrong with anything you order from here.

Whenever I’m craving for Thai food I usually order«to go» from this place if I’m not in the mood to cook. My daughter and I usually order our two favorite dishes from here: Pad Thai with chicken and papaya salad Laotian style with the crabs. They are true to their spice levels so we ordered both of these items at a spice level of «6», spicy enough to kick our taste buds but still allow use to enjoy the taste of these two dishes. I prefer ordering«to go» rather than dining in since they have a small dining facility so at times I might feel cramped so I rather enjoy these tasty tantalizing dishes in the comfort of my own home.

This place is super cute and the staff is so friendly! However, we went in and ordered and my food came way before my husband’s food. We had also ordered a soup for appetizers and that came after we were almost done eating. My food needed way more sauce and my husband’s orange chicken was overcooked. I’m giving 3 stars for the sweet staff but we won’t be going back.

Came here with a friend on a whim last night around 9pm, near their closing time, but we were welcomed and not hurried in the least. I can’t remember the exact name, but she had their phở and found it lackluster. I had their eggplant, heat level 5, with tofu and thoroughly enjoyed it. I enjoy spicy food, and a 5 was perfect; enough to feel, but not to mask the great flavors of the food. Everything was fresh, and the tofu was made perfectly(lightly pan fried to hold texture, but still soft enough to absorb the sauce and be tasty on its own). I ate my fill and had about 2 more meals’ worth leftover. The staff was very polite, and it almost felt like we were having a meal at a friend’s house. The restaurant itself is small, but not cramped, clean, and set up beautifully. I will definitely be back.

Wonderful Thai spices, seafood was super fresh, the food was awesome, and the service was over the top! We will be back for more and soon! We appreciate local family run businesses that are easy to get to and show appreciation for your business. This one does not fall short on any management and certainly offers a great menu with different and perfect seasoning.

Tried this place twice. The first time I ordered four Pad Thai for a party my friends were hosting. We all loved it and the whole tray was gone. I should have bought more. The biggest highlight was when the lady at the counter had told me that they made Som Tum Lao Style. For those not familiar, its the papaya salad made with fermented crab, shrimp and fish to give it a pungent taste. It’s much different from the tradition thai style Som Tum and not a lot of restaurants make it. I would assume because not everyone is accustomed to the fish taste. I give four stars only because I asked for medium spicy and the Som Tum wasn’t very spicy. I had to add three small thai chilis I have at home to the dish. :) Thai Tea was amazing. Very sweet!
