San Diego Carpet One

If I could give a –5 star for Carpet one, I would. Do NOT waste your time or money with this company. They installed carpet in several rooms of our 4,000 sq ft home and subcontract out non-​english speaking/​completely inept workers to do their work.
The hardwood was installed correctly and was done well. The carpet, was not. One room actually has a strip of an entirely different carpet installed within it. Another has a large bump in the center of the room where the padding underneath bulges up under the seam.
I have tried contacting their «customer service» department several times and after speaking with a «Desere» (who claimed to be head of customer service) I asked to speak with the head manager. Desere was extremely rude and curt with me. So much for their «beautiful guarantee!» She informed me I could leave a message for the manager but she knew for a fact that he would not be calling me back.
All I wanted was to get the problems fixed and the job done correctly and no longer deal with this company. They have refused any responsibility and refused to repair any of the damage/​mistakes their workers have done to our house.
I would never refer anyone to carpet one. It has been a nightmare experience. From my understanding, they are a franchise and all the stores in San diego are owned and managed by the same group of idiots.
