Great food, Good Service and the prices are very reasonable. We met the owner, very nice guy and seems to care for his customers. Give this place a try, you will like it!

The food, the ambiance, and the service is great! This is my second time there and I’ll be coming back soon. Can’t wait to share this place with my family and friends. I’m a vegetarian and they have plenty of options to choose from! The food is tasty!

I’ve always been fond of quality Mediterranean cuisine and I was very please with the quality that this place had to offer. I stopped in for an early dinner and order an appetizer of hummus and pita bread for $ 6 and the Sajj Beef Shawarma wrap with a side of fries for $ 8. The hummus and the sajj baked pita bread were excellent. The hummus had a terrific velvety smooth texture and its flavor was of fresh chickpeas, fresh garlic, extra virgin olive oil, tahini, a touch of lemon juice and salt. It was some great eating with the house made pita bread. The pita bread was bliss and came in a puffy form, topped with a few light brown and black sesame seeds. The pita was very soft and had a bit of a chew which I loved. The beef shawarma wrap was very good too, even though it was not the largest I have ever had. I was especially impressed with the quality of the beef. Historically I have been presented with dry beef shawarma, but these guys have it down, because the beef shawarma in this wrap was very tender and juicy and not at all over done. It was also very well seasoned and tasted fantastic. The wrap came with a great wrap made over the sajj oven, with pickled cucumber and tomatoes, and with a light amount of tahini. It was a great wrap. The house cut fries that came on the side were okay. They were simple with a light seasoning, but nothing to get excited about. I had a great server and her name was Brianna. She brought me a few items to try including the spicy hummus which was made from finely diced jalapenos and cilantro. It had a thicker texture than the regular hummus, but it was great. I also tried a small serving of Muhammara which went very well with my wrap. Anyways, her service was friendly and informative when she gladly answered the questions I had.

A much needed place in Elcajon. Finally there is a well remodeled family Mediterranean restaurant in this neighborhood. You will sense the luxury once you walk in. I ordered there spicy hummus that came with freshly cooked bread 8 $ and there beef shawarma plate(lunch)9 $…the display of every dish was to point and it tasted great. I really hope people in that area will support such business. Give it a try.

Horrible, they should be ashamed of themselves. They said it comes with fries… this is the worst middle eastern restaurant ever. The beef shawerma is very small and extremely dry. It’s too bad, because I was really excited about trying this place out. Never again will I come back to this cheap restaurant. Here’s a tip: don’t be so cheap with your food. You know, you can add a couple more fries.

My mom and I came here yesterday afternoon for lunch and wow, amazing experience! The décor inside is very nice. Wood tables, countertops, a chandelier, and also decorative lights on the ceiling covered by what looks like metal. The place looks way better than I can describe. Hard to believe you’re even in El Cajon when you’re inside here! I imagine the ambiance at night for dinner here is amazing. As soon as we walked in we were greeted by the owner himself. As we walked over to the table he asked how hungry we were and what brought us in to his new restaurant. He then brought over complimentary fresh pita bread! Their pita bread is delicious and definitely generous on the serving size. It has the right amount of crunch yet softness on the outside and when you tear a piece off it’s airy, flaky and soft on the inside. The owner also brought over a platter of 2 different vegetables(I think) and also an amazing thick salsa that had the right amount of spice to it that went great with the pita bread. I ordered the beef shawarma plate and my mom ordered the chicken shawarma plate. As we waited for our food, the owner came back around and talked with us about his tradition, himself, and interesting stories about how the restaurant came about. The portion sizes of the food were large and they also came with my favorite yummy rice along with fresh and tasty cooked green veggies. They add a different dipping sauce to go along with whichever meat or chicken you ordered, nice touch! Before we left the owner and his son brought over complimentary espresso shots and the most delicious chocolate cake. It was the perfect combination! This restaurant deserves endless 5-star ratings for not only the amazing food but for their hospitality. Hands down the best experience I’ve had compared to any restaurant in San Diego. I can’t wait to come in for breakfast to try their crepes and eggs Benedict!

We ordered the chicken tekka and it was some of the best I’ve had. The eggplant that came with it was delicious. The rice was ok and the pita bread and tabboule were delicious. The service was excellent. Nice décor inside. Everything is new and feels very comfortable. I definitely want to try to come back and try their breakfast.

Wow! We just had lunch here, and couldn’t wait to write a review! Seriously one of the best Mediterranean food restaurants I’ve ever been to. They have a wood-fired oven that cooks their breads, and the meats are all really nice quality. Food: 1) cheese and za’atar flatbread — freaking amazing 2) sujuk flatbread — pretty good, the za’atar one was so good and flavorful, this seemed a little ordinary only in comparison 3) sujuk and beef wraps — awesome. Even the wrap bread is nicely warmed and crisped, so you get a nice grill mark on the wrap as opposed to most wraps that are mushy 4) chicken shawarma plate — delightful. Garlic sauce accompaniment — AMAZING. Served with a generous rice portion that one person can’t possibly finish. 5) mega — I think it was basically chilequiles with tortilla chips, eggs and sauce, but it was so flavorful and delicious. Mexican food seems a little out of place on the menu, but this hit the spot for breakfast. We were pretty skeptical going here, but the food is seriously outstanding. The décor and remodel they did from the old County Comfort is really beautiful, looks like a whole new place! A little random in this strip mall, but I hope people will support this wonderful establishment. Did I mention how ridiculously inexpensive it was? We were 5 people who ordered 6 dishes, and it was like a $ 50 bill. Unheard of! If they can keep up this quality as they grow which they surely will as people hear about this place, it will be a great go-to spot! So excited already to go back to this great new neighborhood place!

I suggest bringing your appetite and your whole family and friends because they serve generous portions. The location is a total trip meaning its located in a strip mall and tucked away in the corner is this lavish looking restaurant once you walk in. Feels like another part of town like La Jolla or Downtown. I was waiting for this place to open. Once you walk up, you are greeted by bright green and orange chairs and tables outside already making the décor look very fun, modern, and welcoming. As you walk in, the décor becomes a little more woodsy, rustic, and the lighting everywhere is wonderful. Its huge inside with a cozy bar area where you are greeted by a red glowing wine sign, 2 tv’s, and a view to the kitchen. It looks big enough to host large families or parties at certain tables. The fantastic and polite server, Breanna took our order. We had the Beef Shawarma wrap, it was served with fries and pickled veggies, a huge Fattoush salad, and the grape leaves appetizer that came with a bed of lettuce and diced tomatoes. No complaints at all. The food was right on the spot, cooked perfectly, made fresh, large amount, and looked appealing. All of the menus(breakfast lunch and dinner) were a little pricey not overly but you get what you pay for. We will be back to try more menu items.

Great food! Highly recommend. Started lunch meal with complimentary homemade bread and appetizers! Delicious beef and chicken entrees and wraps. The staff, especially Amanda, is super friendly and nice. This is not your typical Mediterranean food much much better

New local place, so decided to try it for lunch today. First let me say that the décor is a beautiful surprise. Too bad that the service and food don’t match the décor. Service was painfully slow and the food a big letdown. The prices are higher than other middle eastern places in El Cajon, so you would expect great food and service. The kabobs were over cooked and dry, and a side of pancakes were under cooked and raw in the middle. Sent bsck, but still charged. Asked for pita bread from 3 different wait persons and finally got it when we were almost finished eating. The waitress said I’ll be right back with more water, but never returned. Hopefully they will improve or they won’t last. Too bad because they did a beautiful job with the décor.

The food is wonderful and the atmosphere is great. We stumbled on this place while shopping at Vons. The prices are a bit high but it was worth it. I had the salmon and it was excellent. My wife had a salad and she said it was too big. I’m not sure if they have a half salad but you can take the test home for another day.

Had an amazing meal! I came with my husband and my brother in law. We started off with drinks. They do have beer and wine. I started with the house Riesling which was perfect. It was not to sweet just the way I like it. They have a few beers on tap but forgive me, I don’t remember which ones. We started with a trio appetizer. My favorite was the baba ghanoosh. My husband and brother in law loved the tappouli. We had shawarma sandwiches which were amazing! I like a little hot sauce and they brought me a home made hot sauce. Let’s just say I can put this hot sauce on all my meals!!! I would highly recommend this restaurant for someone who wants to sit in a nice atmosphere with great food!
