Always a good meal. Sometimes the quantity will vary during the busy hours, so hit them when it’s not too busy. I like the vermicelli salads and rare steak phở. Also they have a reward program to earn free meals and drinks.

Have lived right across the street from Phở Super Bowl for a long time and have patronized that establishment very many times and have, more often than not, left unsatisfied. Decided to finally drive the extra 5 minutes and try this place out and I am so happy that I did. I went once and have been back twice in the same week. Everything, and I mean everything, is better. The broth, the prices, the service, the atmosphere, and the portions(ESPECIALLY the portions). My only gripe with the place is the large bowl left me completely stuffed and the small bowl left me a little bit hungry; finding a nice medium between the two would be welcomed. Recommend 100%.

Sadly the restaurant changed owners and since changed the menu. Now it’s nowhere near as good.

I got serious food poisoning from eating the beef phở and fried noodle. :(To the owner, plz watch your food freshness. I ate the shrimp in my fried noodle, and it tastes wired. I let my bf tried it, he thought its not fresh. We ended up not finished it and dont want to box it. I am sorry! the restaurant is so closed to me, but I dont think I want to be back to get food poisoning.

Disgusting. They me pork egg rolls when I asked for no meat! Everything about the phở was tasteless.

This is my go to place for phở. The broth is absolutely delicious! The best I’ve ever had! Also, they are more than happy to do my special requests. Anything you want, they do it with a smile. I have ordered several things off their menu, not just phở. Everything is amazing! I was going to phở superbowl several times a week because it was the closest to my home. The owner/manager is such a jerk and could care less about my business. I’m so glad I made the switch to P2! I just love P2 and the wonderful people working there. They greet me by name and go out of their way to please. Delicious food, special orders and the best service EVER makes P2 #1!

The Phở here is quite delicious, and a great price. Excellent food and a wonderful staff. Very thoughtful about asking what you want as condiments with each meal I have ordred for takeout.

The place is simple but clean. Not fancy but good food. The menu is not huge but that is a good thing. A giant menu usually means a lot of the prep is frozen. The location has struggled in the past with various restaurants but I think this one will stick. The owners are friendly & the food is good. What more do you really want?

Got here 10 min before closing and they refuse to serve me, if I could give them zero stars for poor service I would.

I love their phở bowls but found the service was terribly lacking. They must have only one waitress because we have waited maybe 5 to 10 minutes just to get a drink and to order some egg rolls. I tried another dish and was disappointed. Part of the food was cold and the other part(meat) was way overcooked.

The phở is good, however on their handout menu they advertise a delivery option, but every-single-time I call there’s some reason why they can’t. Why advertise a service if there’s no follow through?

I got chicken phở and it was very flavorful. And the owners were so nice and thanked me for my business. It’s good to feel appreciated. Also, I got my order to go and it was still very fresh after 15 minutes m when I got home and finally sat down to eat it.

This place!!! Was good. No more!!! Every time I pass this P2 is always empty, no wonder. I order chicken Phở soup and chicken fried rice. What do I get, shrimp, chicken rice, and the noodles are cut in 1inch like some one, return them and they put them in my bowl, the soup was good don’t get me wrong, but if I order chicken rice I expect chicken rice, and Real noodles nice and long, not like someone gave me the leftovers. lol. Don’t waste your time I told the owner and she said, What do you want me to do!!!%#with a tone of voice, I said look, instead of arguing with me why don’t you ask me if I like another bowl of noodles, and not argue about the shrimp rice, I posted some pictures, you can see the small pieces of shrimp, and you can even tasted on the rice even even though I told her I was allergic to shrimp. No I will never go back to this place never never, never, never, I regret it so bad I thought I was going to get the same service I got the first time but I learned my lesson. Do not get leftovers food. Let me just say a comment I wonder how old is the food, because they never, ever have customers, see for yourself you might see one or two, DON’T WASTEYOURMONEY.

The friendliest phở spot you’ll ever find in So Cal. Came in early and they weren’t ready, but were professional and played it off with charm. The interior is newer and nicer than the exterior. Like the layout, roominess and table set ups. It’ll make you feel like you’ve been here before looking like a few other local interiors. Expected more options on the menu, but still a strong menu with the basics. They have a sign outside stating that it’s changed owners earlier this year. Sounds like quite a change reading the older reviews. I got the house phở special and iced espresso. Average looking bowl. Herb plate was a little lack luster. Noodle and broth were pretty good. Would of liked more cinnamon and star anise in the broth. Lots of beef and the brisket stood out the most. All the other items that were suppose to be in the dish were hardly there or missing. Iced espresso was average but still hit the spot. Great phở spot for the area. Average for San Diego. Average is very good, because San Diego has a lot of great phở spots! By far the best customer service around. Very friendly. Offer up their services, talk to you and your water glass will never get below half full. Great local family run business to support. If I’m back in the area I’ll stop in to try some bun and hopefully bump up the review. They’re the only food option in the area that interests me.

Oh no! There are new owners and it’s basically a completely different place with the same name and location. We stopped in last night for dinner and though it was quite changed, decided to try it anyway. It went from a tasty Asian fusion kind of place to a mediocre phở joint. First the good: the server we had was kind and attentive and one of our dishes, the chow fun with big wide rice noodles had a nice flavor. The spring rolls were the size of chipotle burritos. Now the bad: my phở was not very tasty at all. The menu is quite limited. The original P2 owners already had an ambience problem(lots of hard cheap surfaces bouncing noise around) but the new owners somehow managed to make the ambience worse. Their new CFL lights are blinding and harsh. One of the other workers cleaned up a table near our using a very stinky cart. It stayed parked near our table forever and I had to discreetly use my hand to cover my nose until it was gone. As we were leaving, the stinky cart came rolling back out. Gross! Instead of P2 I might call it PU! Finally, as were were paying, we asked if they were honoring the entertainment book coupons(we knew it would be possible they wouldn’t with new owners) But our server didn’t just say, «no» she said, the old owners didn’t tell them about all the promotional coupons they did when they sold the business and she laughed. I don’t know if I find that funny on any level. I mean, she had an empty restaurant on a Friday night. Maybe some goodwill to create new customers would be to honor them or even have a come back next time kind of promotions. Use the marketing of the old owners to their advantage perhaps. I can get mediocre Vietnamese food closer to home and really good Vietnamese food in the county too. I won’t be back,

Under new management and it’s a total fail! Such a bummer. The deliciousness is gone — I would say now they are on par with an airport food place or a glorified panda express. Dishes with fresh, tender crisp bell pepper and divine sauce have morphed into dishes with cheap ingredients(just shredded cabbage type stuff) and standard issue sauces. The broccoli was oddly bitter — tasted like it had been dipped in turpentine. Atmosphere is a major issue — I was willing to overlook it with the old management but now it’s just part of the problem. Harsh blue LED spotlights glare onto the grey tiles. Ceiling fans rotate across the lighting making it flicker. The thin padding on the Walmart chairs went flat a while back, and now the cheapness of the chair is obvious. The TV blares and echoes around the hard surfaces. Service was super bad — we asked for chopsticks and they brought 1 pair. Waiter wouldn’t make eye contact — perhaps was just a family member filling in? Didn’t want to be there? We were on ignore the whole time despite being only 1 of 2 occupied tables. Lastly, the pricing is too high for this. I would consider them to be competing with very low end 99 cent type places. These $ 10ish dishes are not even close to a decent value. Avoid. They will be out of business soon enough I suspect… Bummer!!! If you know where the old chef went PM me — will want to try wherever he/she is cooking!

Not a fan of this place(now under new management), not one vegetarian dish and the spring rolls were pathetically small compared to the old P2. The two stars are for our waiter, polite and good service.

Ok… so i have been waiting for weeks for this place to reopen. And finally i was able to order their delicious salt and pepper wings which I’ve been craving for so long! No other establishment made such finger licking wings, only to find out with utter disappointment that with the new management and grand reopening they would change some of their signature dishes! And such change was made to my favorite salt and pepper wings. They no longer had the same crispness nor taste(or lack thereof) bluntly put… they sucked! I also ordered their spring rolls which i remembered to be huge, and now they seem to have shrunk. After this experience from their grand reopening, i just can’t say that i would be back unless they bring back the same signature wings i fell in love with before the new management took over. Change is good… just not this time!

Grand re opening under new management. The food is incredible! I had the phở ga(chicken noodle soup) and the pork spring rolls. The rolls were so good I ordered it twice. Parking is easy. Easy to find right off the free way and great food. Definitely will be eating here more.
