Lenardo Pizzeria

As far as I can tell, Lenardo Pizzeria is no longer operating out of this location. I drove there tonight with the intention of trying one of their pizza’s and there is a restaurant specializing in Wings at the address listed on Unilocal.Guess I should have tried to call in my order. I’m sure I’m not the first person to drive all the way to find out they are no longer open. Come on Unilocal or Unilocalers, lets keep this information up to date. What’s the point of having the reviews on the website if the restaurant isn’t even open?

I ordered salad and sub for delivery. For 21 $. I wasted the money for crab food. Salad had only 3 pieces of tomatoes and it tasted gross. The sandwich was little burnt and the pepperoncini looked old I ate half of the sandwich and threw the other half with the salad. The salad was full of lettuce and little of the other toppings. Wasted 21 $ for gross food.

I’ve tried lots of pizza, but wow this place is pretty bomb. Me and a couple friends were hungry and in the area and by luck of the draw, we saw this place. We walked in, cool little shop, definitely family run, so it’s a different type of style. We ordered two large pizzas and I gotta tell you, the taste was very flavorful. It wasn’t super greasy like a lot of places are, which was great. I didn’t have to grab a napkin nearby and dab the pizza… that’s probably the worst. I think they use higher quality cheese/​meat here because every bite was wonderful. Next time I’m in the area, I’ll definitely be back for more. What’s also pretty cool is there other Mediterranean-​esque type of stuff, like their sandwiches and such. Maybe I’ll try and sandwich with a slice or so, next time. The only unfortunate side of things is that I’m not in the El Cajon area often… but I’ll definitely be back!

I cannot get enough! Fantastic service! Food is out of this world Great. They treat me like a King always. I highly recommend this pizzeria because it goes beyond pizza. I pray to God that Leonardo’s pizzeria will be in Heaven. Every time I take a bite of their grilled chicken pitas I feel like I’m in Heaven!!! JESUS would love this food!!!

Great pizza ! I believe it’s the best in El Cajon my husband loves pizza so I have tried it all ! The wings are perfect and there is lots of tasty food on the menu. There spot is very well maintained and clean .The owners are really great people, I love coming in and talking to them make sure you try the ranch it’s the BEST

We have ordered pizza for takeout at Leonardo pizzeria regularly for at least a year. It is fabulous! My family orders the giant pizza and fries (to eat on top) yummy! It feeds us for 2 meals. The salads are also excellent. The owners are lovely.
