OK, that’s not all, but it could be and I’d still give it 5 stars! This little deli in a Santee business park is truly a hidden gem. Only open from 6am to 3pm, Mon– Fri, this place caters to the industrial park residents, firefighters and airport personnel. I drive 20 minutes to get this sandwich and would do so daily if I could. Great, fast service and the best sandwich in East County? I’m in!
WHEN YOU GO– again, the 5150 is the Ish. Sandwiches come with a potato or pasta salad and both are delicious. Killer Kalifornian and the California Club are both winners as well. I’m still working my way through the menu and will happily update!
Go there for lunch today!

This place is a hidden gem. I ordered the veggie wrap and it did not disappoint me at all. I wish that it were closer to me or that they set up another location in Eastlake/​Otay Ranch area. The flavors of the food are amazing and the staff takes good care of all of its patrons.

I really enjoy having lunch here, sandwiches are really good. Staff is always courteous and nice. Prices are pretty good, get here early or be prepared for no parking and no seating, its a hoppin place. The monthly Wednesday specials are always pretty good too. Eat with confidence.

I love this deli! The 5150 is a phenomenal sandwich and their pasta salad is exceptional! The pricing is very reasonable and I love that their sandwich names cater to firefighters and EMS personnel being one myself :) Shout out to the staff for excellent customer service and especially Adrianne for always saying hi and remembering faces!

I’m eating my pastrami sandwich as I write this. Yum! They made it exactly like I asked for it. It is warm and tasty and toasted just perfect. The portion of meat was good. All the staff were friendly. They were busy when I got there but my order was filled fairly quickly.

Best deli around! The friendly staff always greets you with a smile. The food is great with a large variety options. Plenty of healthy choices and specialties. Ann has a special every Wednesday that changes every month that are out of this world!

I work down the street and usually frequent the Executive Friendship Deli, but they were closed today. So I made the (long) trek up to Hilltop to get my sandwich on. I ordered my usual Turkey-​Bacon-​Avocado-​Lettuce-​Tomato-​Mayo-​Mustard on wheat combo and waited ’bout 15 – 20 mins for my order. It came with a side of potato salad also.
All in all everything tasted fine, but the amount of ingredients in the sandwich didn’t measure up to my usual place.
I may come here in the future if I have to, but I’ll stick to the Exec Friendship deli for the most part.

We had the most horrible experience. We used to go to the sandwich place all the time and were so happy.
Today, my co-​workers and I were hungry but were super busy, so we decided to order food and have it delivered. We ordered one BLT with extra crispy bacon, one sandwich with added avocado and wheat bread, for the sides we ordered the pasta salad and then we ordered a big order of the pasta salad.
It took over an hour for our food to be delivered (our work is 3 minutes away). We called twice to ask about our food and every time they said it was on its way. When the delivery person finally brought our food she mentioned that they had barely given her our order. She also mentioned that if she had known about our order being late, she would have brought it earlier.
When we opened our food we saw that out side orders were not included, they did not include the avocado which I paid for, got white bread instead of wheat bread and the BLT did not have extra crispy bacon.
We are honestly so disappointing. We really liked this place.

So I’ve been eating here for almost 4 years, why I haven’t left a review yet — who knows. This is one of the best delis I’ve eaten at in San Diego. The prices are right on, the food is delicious every time, and the pasta salad is seriously out of this world. Wraps, Sandwiches, Salads… they’re all delicious. Breakfast is great and the service is wonderful. Plus, they deliver which is great for busy work days.

Used to be a solid 5 stars from me
but it seems theres been a change in staff and the quality took a bit of a dive

This deli has it all, great friendly service, delicious sandwiches, and some great sides as the pasta salad I had with house made ranch dressing. However, what I enjoyed with that side was an off the menu item, the BLAT, which they will be more than happy to make for you, if you ask (
).
The BLAT was great and came loaded with crispy bacon which I had served on marble rye bread (
). The avocado with well ripe, the tomatoes freshly sliced, and the greens crispy, and once again, I was a happy camper that they loaded the bacon (
). Every bite was a mouthful of tasty bacon and creamy avocado (
). Now that’s a bacon, lettuce, avocado, and tomato sandwich. The marble rye was good and had a mild rye flavor and moist soft texture with a light exterior toast.
The salad side was great, mostly because if the house made ranch dressing they top the salad with (
). It was creamy and did not have that overly powerful ranch flavor. The pasta was well cooked and came with herbs and sprinkling of cheese.
Service was very warm and friendly. The place is literally located a top of a hill in a commercial where house zone which obviously caters to the many businesses in the area, but don’t let that stop you from visiting, if you happen to be in the area.

This little place doesn’t look like much, but is really good for lunch. I had the French dip and was surprised at how good it was. My friend had the Killer klub and said it was great as well.
Worth a try if you are in the area.

Omg – the best sandwiches in San Diego! Seriously, I love this place. My favorite is the California Club on croissant. And the pasta salad is simply to die for – it’s served with delicious ranch dressing on top. So good!

They had their sandwiches wrapped in cute little bags. I was excited to try the one with roast beef, but it was just ok. The bread was too plain. I didn’t really like the sandwich at all. :(

This place has the BEST Caesar Chicken Wrap in the SD county. So cheesy with a good balance of Caesarness to it. The pasta salad that goes with it is also delectable. What the heck do they put in that?!? It looks so simple, but the flavors are different from any other pasta salad I’ve had from a deli. Those two together for about $ 5, and I’m sold. I can only eat half of the meal because their portions are quite big.
I call ahead and place my order, and it is ready in about 10 to 15 minutes. I always come here when I’m working in El Cajon. I can’t get to them any other times because they are only open until 3 during the weekdays. =(
oh, and sweet staff. that’s always a plus.
