We went here on a fairly dead night.(Sunday night of a 3 day weekend) The bar tender was cool as hell and the drinks were on point. I’m a bourbon guy so Old Fashioned he made was on point made with Makers Mark. Yeah, he hooked it up. The girls ordered Angry Balls which me and my buddy had to hear about the rest of the damn night so obviously it was pretty good.

A very nice restaurant in the middle of the woods. Pretty secluded from other places and they have their own large parking lot. Tons of tables and booths inside and outside. Nice big bar, lots of flat screen tvs, pool table, arcade games, and horseshoe pit. AND they have a karaōke machine! Dave the bartender is the best! Super cool. The other servers here are friendly and efficient as well. Food looks good. Tator tots were the best. Good alcohol and drinks on deck!

Went last night for burgers & brew. Jalapeño burger was cooked medium perfectly. Excellent juicy burger. Bartender David is great, & really down to earth. Excellent service. He can easily tend bar & wait 6 tables at one one time.

I like the place! Old School road lounge! Service isn’t 5 star but friendly = roadhouse people! The servings are ample and always good flavor! They occasionally run out of a thing here or there, but theres always something else! Handmade Real cocktails and real hamburgers! Love not having corporate chain control on service and servings!

David the bartender is awesome and makes the best bloody Marys. His friendly personality and knowledge of mixing makes it worth the visit… The food is ok. Average bar food. The atmosphere is awesome for watching sports. Kid friendly.

My first Unilocal review ever! We came in around 7pm on New Year’s Day and only 4 other people in the whole place were eating. The waitress was clearly working her booty off but the food still took over an hour to come out(for 3 burgers and some fried sides that came out cold) the bartender couldn’t be bothered to get off his barstool to help clear the tables that are covered with dirty dishes, or get anyone at the tables drinks or even acknowledge us. This was a cool place but the owner would do well to encourage a little customer service and to speed up/train the kitchen staff. I can’t image how bad it would be if there were more than 4 people in this place! We didn’t expect the Ritz Carlton but hot food in less than an hour seems reasonable! Disappointed…

Well after almost a year I decided to try the Flinn again. Still very noisy and the service got even worse. We waited almost an hour and a half for our food, and it was over cooked. That’s it LAST time I go there and the rest of my party agree it’s the last time for them.

Food is great as always but even better was the service. Dayna is a doll and a star server, especially for as a busy as it was!

Worst service. Very slow. They weren’t that busy. We ordered Flinn Jalapeño Chicken Breast. It was hard to cut and overcooked. We chose mixed veggies, we got a bowl of corn instead. It was loaded with melted butter. We were told that they were out of mixed veggies. We would’ve chosen salad if they had let us know before they brought our plates. We gave zero tip for their poor services as we were very disappointed. My boyfriend been here before. He told me they were way better before though it has been awhile since he has been here.

Outside patio! Huge and sunny! I love our San Diego«winters» We wanted to go to Alpine Brewery. The line was so long the place was so small… we had NO desire to wait it out. I am glad we decided to venture onward. We found this place… this is exactly what we were in the mood for with added bonuses! The burgers were VERYGOOD, they had many craft beers, most local and the service was nice and friendly. We opted to sit outside the weather was GREAT. They had a horseshoe pit. I stink at horseshoes and my husband had one in his backyard when he was in high school. We played, we laughed, we drank beer… I lost!

I’m a huge fan of the flinn. I just went yesterday for the first time in about 6 months. As soon as we walked in my mom said«wow!!!». It really does look great in there. The new high top tables in the bar are beautiful and the mural is awesome! One thing that hasnt changed, delicious blue cheese burger and tots! We decided to sit outside as the sun went down and it was so nice. Nothing better than beers & burgers out on the patio. There really is nothing in el cajon that offers this kind of relaxed patio atmosphere. You feel like youre in a friends backyard. We listened to the padre game and enjoyed the weather. The service from Becca was friendly as always! Trust me if you’re looking for a place to grab a great meal and have a drink… or 5, this is your spot!

I hope I never have to go here again! I know. it’s an East County dive bar. But ugh… too much smoke, too many flys outside and just too far east for me.

Oh lord, not even sure where to begin. I went here at the end of a girls night because I had heard nothing but wonderful things from a certain someone, so here it goes. Yes, It’s a dive It’s is in the middle of the woods It’s in EC It’s very laid back They have beer pong and dancing and pool. Need I really say more. Go with an open mind and ready to have a good time, you won’t be disappointed.

I have been here several times over the last 5 years I use to love the chili so much I would recommend it to bikers looking for a place to ride on a weekend day. I mean this was… was damn good chili. Sunday, it sucked. We went for a drive from Poway through Julian. Our option was to go north, back through Lake Henshaw in to Valley Center and to Ivor’s, or out to Flinn Springs for chili. We chose the latter. The server was obviously inconvenienced by our presence. The chili, barely warm enough to melt the cheese, was over loaded with beans. Remember where’s the beef? This is ground beef chili… not chili beans! We ordered chili with cheese and onions… I’ve had more onions on a McDonald’s hamburger… seriously! Really, really bummed out… now where to go for Chili?

Love Hate Affair with this bar… it was the 1st bar I ever drank in illegally when I was 19 in East County. It was very very different than, You could grill your own steaks out in the back patio, family karaōke nights on Sundays. thats when I loved it !! It then went to Bro and Ho Central 99! My girl used to be the weekend KJ(Karaōke Jockey) and it turned into EC’s own mini version of Tijuana for many years. This is when I hated it, wouldnt go there for it would turn into a drunken high school reunion and it would end badly. Its safe to say the place has changed a great deal over the last 5 years! Maybe they got new owners? New cooks? Who knows, but whatever theyre doin, keep doin it! We just went back for the Grand Opening Release of my cousins clothing line. The place well it still looks the same on the inside, dark and woody … Out back there was more tables for dinning, a Beer Pong table, a horse shoe pit, where some serious horse shoe playin was goin down. we EC folks know how to have a good time with Horse Shoes. Their was alive band, a Reggae band no less. the atmosphere was pretty awesome, including live art being done by SD’s local artist Sean Dietrich, who is really and truly gifted! The scene was pretty legit in my opinion! So we had a few drinks, and then grabbed some lunch inside. We sat at a high table near the bar, and from the get go the service was WEAKSAUCE! It took the waitress, who really only had 2 other tables well into their meals, and us, 15 mins to even greet us walk up to us acknowledge us. So we ordered, the appetizers came out and it was delicious! Pretty good Spinach Artichoke dip for sure! The rest of our meals came out sporadically, My moms who orders everything well well well burnt and done, her burger came out before mine? She said hers was perfect, mine took another15 minutes. OK? When it came out it was all wrong too :(, but I didnt wanna wait another 15 mins, so I scraped off the yuckiness and ate it . We wanted a few more cocktails, but didnt want to wait for this waitress who was to busy doing everything under the sun but do her job, so I kept goin to the bar outside and buying drinks, all for this chik to try and charge us again for what was purchased outside… Moms wasn’t haven that. so before paying the bill and getting it squirted away, she calmly and nicely explained to the girl what was wrong, and all she got back was oh my bad and an attitude for days. another 20 mins went by and still no new check. Moms was irritated at this point and went up to the bartender to have our check settled and dealt with. Needless to say homegirl didnt get a tip of money, but instead she got a nice note from my mother explaining why she didnt get her tip ! Gotta love my mother! So Im back to not liking the joint so much and well, needless to say The Food was MEH– it wasnt a great burger but it was good. The Service was Crap! And the only reason Id ever go back again, is only to support my cousin should he ever do another event their!

I like this place. But it is definitely a dive. With a capital«D». I will say that every time I’ve ordered the food I’ve really enjoyed it, and the prices are very reasonable. There is a large backyard patio with horseshoe pits, ping-pong, and they will even have a stage sometimes with live local bands. Inside there’s pool tables and even a little eating area. Sometimes on Saturday nights they push the pool tables away to make a dance floor and they have disco lights and even karaōke. It’s pretty dingy inside, but the kitchen must be cleaner than the bar area because the sign on the window proclaims them to have an «A» rating. The waitstaff and bartenders have always been friendly, and we have never felt unwelcome even though there is definitely a crowd of locals and regulars. In short, it’s a chill place to relax and have a few drinks and some chow. Don’t wear your fancy shoes, don’t expect to hear any hip hop music, and don’t mind the fact that the curtain in the ladies room is more like an 80’s bedsheet, and you’ll be fine. See it for what it is and just have fun!
